I. Warm---up(复习及预习展示)
1. Let’s sing <<Days of the week>>.
2. Revise Let’s talk, get the Ss to act out the dialogue.
II. Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)
1. Ask: What class do you have? Get the Ss to say the words of the subjects, such as Chinese, maths, English etc. Get the Ss to talk about their subject timetables of Wednesdays and Thursdays.Write Wednesdays and Thursdays on the Bb, and get the Ss to repeat.
1. After singing, ask: What day is it? Then answer the question: It’s Wednesday. Repeat several times, help the Ss Understanding the meaning of it. Write Wednesday on the Bb, get the Ss to repeat.
Check the answer with the class.
3. Let’s talk
1)T: It’s Wednesday today. Let’s see what John has on Thursdays. Listen and answer.
A).What does John have on Thursday?
2. Present other days of the week, and write on the Bb.
3. Play the tape, Ss listen and repeat.
