我将本单元内容设计为本模块的第一课时。
本课时为新知识的呈现。

重点：
1、掌握以下四会词：lucky, CD-ROM, copy, snake, music
2、掌握四会句：Do… like…?
难点：通过本模块的学习，学生能用英语向他人描述某些动物的生活习性，以及能向他人询问动物的生活习性。

四、教法和学法
在教学中，我采用“真实运用任务教学法”、“活动性教学法”和“创设情景教学法”来完成教学任务。
借助实物情景，利用小道具，进行小组对话，全班问答。
借助动作、手势加以解释，帮助学生对句子意思有更形象的理解。
为充分激发学生的学习兴趣，我为本单元设计的任务是：描述你最喜欢的动物。

一、Free talk：（营造活跃轻松的课前气氛，培养他们对英语的兴趣，使学生带着积极和活跃的心态投入课堂中）
二、Warming up
1、Listen and guess the riddles：
They have got long tails. They climb trees very fast. They like bananas. What are they? (monkeys)
They are long. They have got small heads. They have got no legs. What are they? (snakes)
They have got no legs. They live in water. What are they? (fish)
They are strong and big. They sleep in winter. What are they? (bears)
They are fat. They are black and white. They live in China. What are they? (pandas)

2、Let’ play a game
Do you like animals? Today we are going to know more about animal facts. Then we will play an interesting game. I’d like each group make a riddle about animal and the other groups guess what are they? 请每个小组都来编写动物谜语，请其他组来猜猜它们描述的是什么动物。
So you should learn how to talk about animal facts, then you can do it well, OK?

本单元是本模块的重点内容，掌握了本单元所学内容，可以为本模块第二单元的学习打下基础。
同时询问以及表达人物喜好的句型与生活联系密切，学习掌握后可以真正地运用到实际生活中。
学情分析六年级学生已经有三年多的英语学习经历，他们既掌握了一定的词汇量，与此同时，他们还对保持着小学生对新鲜事物的兴趣与好奇心的心理。
由于在村小，六年级学生在用英语进行口语表达以及小组合作对话方面的经历会比较少，这类练习对他们来说会相对难一点。
所以在教学过程中，我会重点培养学生的说话能力，在句型操练部分我会多给时间学生去练习和掌握。
