一．Warm up and review:
1.师生问候，合唱“The Month Song”。
2.出示词汇卡片复习上节课所学的内容。
二．New concept:
1.教师引导学生复习上节掌握的表示天气情况的词，在此基础上，打开英语资源包中的本课图片，用掌握的词描述每幅图，教师教句子，学生跟读，重点讲解rainy,sunny, snowy, cloudy, windy等形容词是在名词rain,sun, snow, cloud, wind后面加y而来的。
2．学习课文第二部分，教授单词weather，可以使用汉语引导学生理解。
教师朗读，在读的过程中，指出图中的事物让学生理解其含义。
读完每幅图后，问下列问题检查学生是否理解了这些内容：
What day is it ? How’s the weather?
How’s the weather in December? How’s the weather in July?
3.学习第三部分Let’s do it.
4.学习第四部分，播放录音让学生跟读。
边写边读，写出音标让学生反复读，并举例子让他们了解字母的发音。
5.设计句式和学生进行对话练习。

Lesson11 How’s the Weather Today
公开课教学分析与反思
本课内容，主要学习有关天气的词汇，以及运用这些词汇表达天气的情况，是在学生学习了Lesson10有关天气名词sun rain wind snow cloud的基础上，对如何描述天气情况进行进一步的拓展学习。
我以英文歌曲《Weather》导入新课，调动课堂气氛，激发学生学习兴趣。
再由动态ppt出示天气名词，进而学习描述天气的形容词，让学生参与体验，尽量以学生为主体安排多种活动对新知进行操练，以便达到学以致用的效果。
整个课堂尽量围绕信息技术与英语课堂的融合来突破重难点，让学生参与体验，利用单词卡片，多媒体图片声音感受生词含义，直观生动。
大部分同学紧跟老师节奏，接受知识较快，取得了比较好的效果。
同时也存在许多不足之处。
部分学生参与度不是太高，教师在引导帮助学困生掌握知识目标，突破重难点方面还要再下功夫。
小组活动不够充分，应该多设计学生小组活动，体现以学生为主体的教学理念。
个别ppt的制作不够精致，不能充分引导学生理解内容。
时间安排不合理，出现前松后紧的现象。
教学目标表述不够精确，检测方法不太成熟，没有达到预期目标。
作业布置最好要有可操作性，真正达到课堂效果。
在以后的教学中要注意教材内容的整合，课堂上多一些真实情景的创设，设计多样学生活动，尽量实现高效课堂。
