Nowadays more and more individuals feel the pressure of modern life more or less. I have experienced important exam stress. Indeed, stress can make my life become more exciting, challenging and dramatic. However, too much exam stress can have a serious and profound influence on my physical and mental well-being.
There are numerous effective ways that I can cope with my stress. First of all, I would like to choose to take physical activity when I feel nervous, angry or upset. Exercise such as running, playing football, swimming, and even walking in the campus can really release the pressure and relax me. What’s more, I try to share my stress with my close friends or classmates. It helps a lot to talk to someone about my concerns and worries. A close friend or a close classmate can help me deal with my problems in a different way. Last but not least, I always remember to make time for fun amid work time.
I think playing is just as important to my well-being as work. I take frequent breaks during my study to have fun and relax.
As far as I’m concerned, I maintain that the stress not only can become resistance, but also can become impetus. The key is how you confront it. As long as we begin to recognize and understand more about how stress affects our life, we will come up with our own ways to address it. Although we can’t live completely free of stress, we can try our best to do something about it, then we can improve and optimize the quality of our life and perhaps even live longer.
