The film critic of Pride and PrejudiceIn Pride and Prejudice, love stories are the main point. And there are four different marriages described in the film. They are Elizabeth and Darcy, Jane and Bingley, Charlotte and Collins and Lydia and Wickham. The story about Elizabeth and Darcy is the most attractive one. Elizabeth was a clever and smart girl. She was also an independent girl and always had an individual opinion, because she learned by herself. Darcy was a handsome man .He was very wealthy, but he was very proud and rude in other people’s eyes. Because of the education he had in his childhood, he first ignored Elizabeth’s good points because of the social position she was in and their social status. Later, he realized Elizabeth’s smart and beauty and proposed to her. But Elizabeth refused at the first time. From this, we can know that what Elizabeth want most was the true love between people. At last, through Darcy’s efforts, Elizabeth agreed to his proposal.People’s different characters that lead to their different marriages. By comparing these eight people’s characters and their four marriages, we can understand Jane Austen’s view towards marriage. The film also reflects the reality of the British society at that time: money was at the first place, the man is more important than women. And people think that a marriage that both have love and money is a perfect one.。

电影傲慢与偏见观后感英文版

电影傲慢与偏见观后感英文版"Pride and Prejudice" A ReflectionI recently watched the movie "Pride and Prejudice" and it was quite a ride I have to say, it's not your typical runofthemill love storyThe film takes us back to a time when society was all about rules and appearances The Bennet family, with its five daughters, is in a frenzy when a wealthy bachelor, Mr Bingley, moves into the neighborhood You can just imagine the excitement and the hopes of finding a good match for the girlsNow, let's talk about Elizabeth Bennet Oh boy, she's something else She's got this fire in her, this spirit that refuses to be tamed She's not one to be swept off her feet by just any man, especially not someone who gives off an air of arrogance like Mr Darcy And Mr Darcy, well, at first glance, he seems like the kind of guy who thinks he's better than everyone else But as the story unfolds, we start to see beneath that cold exteriorOne scene that really stuck with me was when Elizabeth and Mr Darcy first meet at the ball The way they look at each other, it's like there's an immediate spark of something, but it's not love More like a mutual annoyance Elizabeth overhears Mr Darcy dismissing her as "not handsome enough to tempt me," and you can just see the fire in her eyes She's determined to dislike this man, and I was right there with her, thinking, "Who does this guy think he is?"Then there's the whole business with Mr Wickham He comes along, all charming and smoothtalking, and Elizabeth believes every word he says about Mr Darcy being a villain I mean, I could totally understand why she fell for it Wickham seemed so sincere, and Mr Darcy had already made such a bad first impression But as we all know, things aren't always as they seemThe scenery in the movie is just breathtaking The beautiful countryside, the grand houses, it all makes you feel like you've stepped into another world I could almost smell the fresh air and feel the soft grass under my feet And the costumes! Oh my goodness, the ladies' dresses were so elegant and detailed It really gives you a sense of the fashion and style of that eraAs the story progresses, we see Elizabeth and Mr Darcy's relationship evolving in the most unexpected ways They keep running into each other, and each encounter is filled with tension and misunderstandings But there are also those little moments when you can sense that there's something more lurking beneath the surface Like when Mr Darcy helps Elizabeth's sister, or when Elizabeth starts to question her own prejudicesThe scene where Mr Darcy finally confesses his love to Elizabeth in the rain is just epic He's all passionate and vulnerable, and Elizabeth is completely taken aback She rejects him outright, and I was on the edge of my seat, thinking, "Oh no, what's going to happen now?" But it's these kinds of twists and turns that keep you hooked until the very end And the ending, oh what a beautiful ending Elizabeth realizes her mistakes, Mr Darcy overcomes his pride, and they come together in a way that makes your heart melt It's not a fairytale kind of happy ending It's a real, hardwon kind of love that makes you believe in the power of second chances and the possibility of changing one's mindAfter watching this movie, I couldn't help but think about how we all have our own pride and prejudices We judge people based on first impressions or what others tell us, without really getting to know them And sometimes, it takes a lot of courage to admit we're wrong and open our hearts to someone we once dismissed"Pride and Prejudice" is not just a love story It's a lesson in human nature, wrapped up in a beautiful, entertaining package It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, and it makes you think And that's why it's a movie that will stay with me for a long time。

The film review of pride and prejudiceBy all account, pride and prejudice is a famous novel which was created by Jane Austen. I have ever read the great book before. And I watched the movie several days ago.It is a story, happened in the countryside, about Mr Bennet’s five daughters. His first daughter is named Jane. In my mind, she is a polite and elegant girl although she was born in a middle rank family. I think she is worthy of the love with Mr Bingley. The female leading role of the movie is Liza, played by a beautiful girl. She is Jane’s sister. And she is so brave that she chase the love with Mr Darcy. Then Mr Darcy, a very rich gentle man. He loves Liza, loves his sister, the first impression he gives me is that he is a successful man, he is so successful that he has the qualification to be pride to others. In this movie, there are four kinds of marriages. But the most sincere marriage is about Liza and Darcy. Because their marriage is based on love, it is love that is the core of any marriage. Naturally, the rest of these four kinds of marriages are used to foil Liza’s.At last, just like the ending of the fairy tale, Liza and Darcy fall in love with each other. They will get the happy life.To sum up, in the movie, the director shows the different attitudes towards marriage and love of these girls who are middle rank. As we oppose to taking the money for the purpose of marriage and see love aslight as children’s games. The director stressed the importance of marriage.。

The Appreciation of Pride and PrejudiceAfter see the movie of Pride and Prejudice, I have thought deeply more about the figures. Everyone was special even unique and they were differed in many ways. Each person was stood for one character and all above of them were added some charm to the movie in some degree.I think Mr. Bennet was a negative figure and an ironic person. And he was also very sharp and clever. But to associate the author’s point of Mr. Bennet, however, was to ignore his ultimate failure as a father and husband. He was very clever but he always kept away from the matters that occured around him. And that made him became an ineffective parent and husband. He made no advice to his wife and little daughters to away from bad manners, so that his wife and his little daughters always behaved ridiculously and even badly. After Lydia eloped with Wickham, Mr. Bennet was proved that he was unable to handle the situation. Thanks to Darcy and Gardiners, the elopement has been solved . He was a likable, entertaining character, but he never managed to earn the respect of the viewers who ever watched the movie. In this movie, Jane Austin portrayed many characters with distinguishing features. There were two typical women that viewers may no t fo rget--- Lady Cather ine de B o urgh and Mrs. B ennet.Maybe the Lady Catherine de Bourgh who caused Anne's invalid state. Because Anne were to attempt things and did them badly, then her mother’s blame would be shown up as hollow. Lady Catherine de Bourgh prevented much shortcomings from appearing by keeping he from all exertion. And as a result, Anne had became thin but sickly. Besides, Anne seemed very selfish. She kept Charlotte outside in very cold weather; she did not talk to her mother's guests but only to the housekeeper. Maybe that’s because of her mother’s improper teaching.Compared with Lady Catherine de Bourgh, Mrs. Bennet was quite different from her, except that they were mercenary, overbearing, Compared with the attitudes that Lady Catherine de Bourgh showed towards Anne, Mrs. Bennet was the directly reason of Jane's and Lydia's misfortunes, and she also brought about Elizabeth's sufferings. She was a poor judge of character, and failed to understandanyone. We saw this in her enthusiasm for Collins and Wickham and her disapproval about to Darcy, especially stressed when Elizabeth has just accepted Darcy's proposal about their marriage. Jane Austen also described that Mrs. Bennet's had an uncertain temper to her supposed “nerves”.That’s a little funny. And Mrs. Bennet was one example among many in the movie of ill-breeding and bad manners: She lacked consideration for others .She was overbearing and domineering. She had no restraint and no sense of propriety - she would discuss her family affairs with anyone. She lacked intelligent conversation.Furthermore, she was vulgar, not only in her loud, unintelligent chatter, but in the absence of decency in matters such as Lydia's wedding or the whereabouts of Lydia and Wickham when they were married. What’s more, she also had no moral shame, because she flaunted Lydia and Wickham when they came to visit her family. She bullied people and was a snob - as we see in her reception of the news of Elizabeth's engagement to Darcy and in her servile attitude to Lady Catherine. To sum up, Lady Catherine de Bourgh and Mrs. Bennet has something incommon--- mercenary, overbearing, selfish and bullying. But they were different from each other-the attitudes to daughters, manners, temper...Jane and Bingley's relationship proved that too much prudent judgement can damaged, most severely, the possibility of lasting happiness. The two characters were immediately charmed by each other at the Meryton assembly. Jane's prudent judgement and utmost caution were apparent from the beginning of their relationship, and it was this factor which proved most damaging to any blissful future prospects, whilst Elizabeth was pleased that Jane displayed caution. Charlotte Lucas was surprised in her declaration that less judgement was required.Bingley, on the other hand, was not hampered by excessive prudent judgement in his following inclinations and courting Jane, and i t was his ac tiv i l y appro ach ing i n wo o ing Jane w hich eventually precipitated as a joyous and beautiful marriage. In her portrayal of Jane and Bingley's relationship, Austen provided a counterpoint to Elizabeth and Darcy's relationship by showing that an excessive amount of prudent judgement and caution can so muchtemper inclinations, such that with so little encouragement offered, prospects of lasting happiness can be endangered and lost. Through these two contrasting relationships, Jane Austen had skillfully drawn the fine line between too much of prudent judgement, because a rash, prejudiced approach towards inclinations, showing that a delicate balance of objective neutrality and strength of feeling under the appropriate circumstances must be demonstrated, in order to nurture to save any relationship, and to ensure its success.。

A book report about Pride and PrejudiceThe <<Pride and Prejudice>> is a book telling that Bannate treat married the daughter of five different treatments . Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, This is a really love story , but above love . The story let me know a truth that the true love is based on two people who is respect each other . This story also tells another truth about the society at that years . which is a unfair society ,which is a Noble in power’s society .Mrs Bannate has five daughters .The older is called Jane , who is loved by Mr Bingly . The second daughter named Elizabeth and she was loved by Mr Darcy who is a very rich and pride man . Elizabeth and Darcy is the novel’s hero and heroine. The third daughter is Mary and she isn’t as beautiful as her elder sisters , but she is knowledgeable and a little self-important . The two young sister have a very strong vanity . So the five different characters let the story go on .In fact, I didn't understand the story at the first time I read it. I didn't know why it called Pride andPrejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didn't find where' s the prejudice. I thought it's normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But after watching the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. I'm a prejudiced person so I can't find where's wrong.I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something , my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time. I like it so just like it, if not so just not. I'm a person thinking by heart not by brain. What is worse, I actually didn't think it's wrong. I thought everyone is all like that.Everyone has his special way to cognize the world. So it's individuality, not prejudice. But I think something is wrong. Though everyone can judge in the way he likes, he can't ignore other ones. You can like what you like and hate what you hate, but you should be objective when you meet external world. I think it means that you should consider things roundly, not just partial. Am I right? The main subject in the novel is stated in the first sentence of the novel: "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife." In this statement, Jane has cleverly done three things: she has declared that the main subject of the novel will be courtship and marriage, she has established the humorous tone of the novel by taking a simple subject to elaborate and to speak intelligently of, and she has prepared the reader for a chase in the novel of either a husband in search of a wife, or a women in pursuit of a husband. The first line also defines Jane's book as a piece of literature that connects itself to the 18th century period. Pride and Prejudice is 18th century because of the emphasis on man in his social environment rather than in his individual conditions. The use of satire and wit, a common form of 18th century literature, also contributes to label the book as 18th century. However, because Jane Austen had allowed personal feelings of the characters to be expressed in her work, she can also be classified as Romantic. In the figure of Elizabeth, Jane Austen shows passion attempting to find a validmode of existence in society. Passion and reasons also comes together in the novel to show that they are complementary of marriage. The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pe dant.) Kitty doesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I watch the movie, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this story is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century. In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted i n somepeople’s mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children’s marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one’s marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can’t help thinking: can money determine everything? The answer surely is wrong .I think there will have true love in the world , Like Elizabeth and Darcy . Love is the true feeling in the two person .Don’t judge love by money , by status .The love don’t have honor and downtrodden ,the love is fair . So keep the right feelings about love ,you will find your true love ,like Elizabeth and Darcy .。
