在诸语言要素中,词汇的变化最快、最显著,这表现在新词的产生和旧词的消亡、借用外来词和旧词添新义[1]。
一词多义是语言中词汇变化的一类普遍现象。
不论英语还是汉语,除了术语以外,单义词是很少的,多数的词都是多义词,而且往往词的使用频率越高,词义就越多,它的生命力就越强。
根据其历史演变,词义可分为本义和延伸义。
前者指的是词汇的原义,一般来说是具体的、人类最初认识事物的意义;后者指的是从原义派生出来的词义。
Saeed 通过对多义现象的分析,指出描述变幻莫测的真实世界的语言是以隐喻的形式体现的,这些语言现象可归纳在意象图式中[2];各种意义之间的关系不是任意的,而是系统的、自然的;各义项之间的关系呈链锁状,A →B →C →D 等,即后一个义项以前一个义项为基础[3]。

crops and its safety issues are getting more and more attention.Starting from the basis of GM,we analyzed the classification and mechanism of common genes in GM food,and discussed the current research condition of genetically modified food safety.We summarized the harm of food safety of GM food and analyzed the potential risks caused by biotechnology on the basis of this examples,which includes the herbicide resistant gene, resistance gene, anti-pest resistance genes and nutrition genetically modified gene.

Genetically modified food is so closely linked with people's lives.there are genetically modiffy rice、new leaf 、 GM corn and so on。 we used to kill pests by pesticide,but it is bad for our health。
