It was the coolest thing ever!We loaded up on the big yellow school bus early in the morning. I was bouncing up and down in my seat because I was so pumped to go. The science museum is in the big city, so we had about an hour-long drive to get there. A bunch of us were chatting and laughing the whole way. Timmy even busted out some crazy jokes that had us all cracking up.When we finally arrived, I just stood there for a few minutes staring up at the huge museum building. It looked like a massive rocket ship! I couldn't wait to head inside and start exploring.The first exhibit we went to was all about space exploration. There were real rockets and satellites and space suits on display. We even got to experience what it feels like to walk on the moon! They had this special room with a bouncy floor that simulated the moon's lower gravity. We were jumping around like kangaroos and doing flips and somersaults. The teacher had to chase us down and reign us in before we got too carried away.Next up was the robotics section, which was justmind-blowing. They had all these incredibly advanced robots that could do things like solve complex math problems, play musical instruments, and even dance! The dancing robot put on a whole show for us, busting moves that would put any bboy to shame. I tried my best to learn the robot dance moves so I could show them off at recess.But I think my favorite part was the hands-on science lab area. We got to do all kinds of wild experiments and activities. I made a mini erupting volcano, built a basic electrical circuit, extracted DNA from a strawberry, and more! We were like mad scientists, running around from station to station.At the chemistry station, I even got to make my very own slime. They provided all the ingredients and let us mix up whatever crazy slime concoctions we wanted. I made atriple-decker slime with three different colors all smushed together. It was so glorpy and gooey and just a total blast to play with.After a couple of hours getting our mind blown by science, we all met up for a picnic lunch in the museum courtyard. I devoured my PB&J and apple sauce in about two minutes because I was so hungry from running around.With re-energized bellies, we headed to the final exhibit - an amazing 3D movie experience about the human body. We got to shrink down and take a virtual tour through the circulatory system, digestive system, and even the brain! Seeing all those bodily functions up close in 3D was super trippy. I don't think I'll ever look at my body the same way again.By the time we got back on the bus to head home, we were all completely exhausted. I could barely keep my eyes open on the ride back. But it didn't matter because I was just so happy and my brain was overflowing with all the incredible science knowledge and experiences from the day.A huge thank you to our awesome teacher for taking us on that epic field trip! I'll never forget the amazingness of the science museum. You better believe I'll be begging my parents to take me back there soon because one visit is just not enough. I want to become a scientist when I grow up so I can spend every day uncovering the mysteries of this wild universe we live in. Science rocks!篇5My Awesome Summer VacationSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No school, no homework, and lots of time to have fun with my family and friends. This summer was extra special because we went on an amazing trip to the beach. Let me tell you all about it!We left bright and early one Friday morning. My little brother and I could barely contain our excitement as we loaded up the car with our suitcases, beach toys, and plenty of snacks for the road. "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" we kept asking my parents over and over again. After what felt like forever, we finally arrived at the beach town. The second we stepped out of the car, we could smell the salty sea air and hear the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore. "Last one to the ocean is a rotten egg!" I shouted as my brother and I raced towards the beach, leaving our parents behind with all the heavy bags.The beach was incredible – nothing but endless golden sand dotted with colorful umbrellas and towels as far as the eye could see. We quickly claimed a spot, set up our gear, and ran straight into the refreshingly cool water. We spent hours splashing around, boogie boarding, and burying each other in the sand. Every time a big wave came, my brother and I would squeal with delight as it crashed over us. In the afternoons, we enjoyedbuilding amazing sandcastles fit for a king and queen. One day, we even found a few dried-up starfish and some pretty seashells along the shoreline.When we got tired of playing in the ocean, there were so many other fun things to do nearby. Our favorite was the awesome boardwalk with its bright lights, carnival games, and gigantic Ferris wheel. We went there almost every night to play games, eat delicious junk food like hot dogs, cotton candy, and ice cream, and ride the scream-inducing roller coasters. Sometimes, we would take a break from all the action and head over to the pier to watch fishermen trying their luck at catching the evening's dinner.Another day, we visited a nearby aquarium that was full of all kinds of marine life – everything from tiny, colorful clownfish to huge sharks! We even got to touch a velvety ray and see sharks being fed right in front of our eyes. My brother was a little scared at first, but I thought it was the coolest thing ever. We also learned about efforts to protect sea turtles and other endangered ocean creatures. After leaving the aquarium, we stopped at a restaurant right on the beach to enjoy a fresh seafood dinner as we watched a beautiful sunset over the sparkling waves.On our final day at the beach, my family and I rented a little boat and went out into the open ocean. We saw pods of dolphins gracefully swimming alongside our boat, putting on an amazing show by jumping and splashing through the waves. My dad even let me and my brother take turns steering the boat –we felt like real captains! As we headed back to shore, we spotted a flock of brown pelicans gliding effortlessly above the water's surface. It was such an incredible experience being out on the big blue sea.All too soon, our amazing beach vacation came to an end. My brother and I were so sad to leave, but we made a ton of wonderful memories that we'll never forget. We can't wait to go back to the beach again next summer for more fun in the sun and surf. Until then, we'll just have to dream about building bigger and better sandcastles!篇6My Awesome Summer VacationYay, it was finally summer vacation! No more school, no more homework, just playing and having fun all day long. This summer was going to be the best ever!The first week of vacation, my family went on a big trip to Beijing. We rode on the super fast bullet train to get there. It took us hardly any time at all compared to driving! Beijing is the capital city of China and it's huge, with so many people and cars and buildings. It kind of made my head spin at first.Our first stop was the Forbidden City. That's where the emperors of ancient China lived with their families and workers. It's a massive palace made of wood and stone, with pretty gardens and powerful wall defenses. I couldn't believe how big it was! We spent almost a whole day just walking around part of it. My feet were really tired by the end.Next we visited Tiananmen Square. It's this gigantic open area right next to the Forbidden City where people gather. There were tons of Chinese flags waving in the wind and soldiers marching around. We took a picture of our whole family in the square with the giant portrait of Mao Zedong in the background. That was a fun photo op!The best part though was going to see the Great Wall of China. We drove out into the countryside to a quieter section of the wall called Mutianyu. I was amazed at how ancient yet massive the wall is - it just winds up and down across the mountains as far as you can see! We hiked along the top for afew hours, stopping to catch our breath and take pictures of the incredible views. It was tiring but totally worth it. The Great Wall is definitely one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.After Beijing, we headed down to the city of Xi'an to see the Terracotta Warriors. These are life-sized clay statues of soldiers, horses, and chariots that were buried underground for over2,000 years! Each warrior statue is unique, with different facial features and everything. It's mind-blowing that they were able to make so many intricate statues way back then. I felt like I had stepped into an ancient battlefield.On the way back home, we stopped in the city of Luoyang. They have these incredible Buddhist caves and temples carved right into the sides of a huge sandstone mountain. The biggest one has a 17-meter tall Buddha statue inside! We went into some of the caves and tunnels, and everywhere you looked there were incredibly detailed carvings and paintings covering the walls and ceilings. It was like an underground museum of Buddhist art. So cool!When we finally made it back to our city, I had a week or two of downtime at home before summer camp started. That was the best part of the summer for me. I went to a day camp at the local sports center, and every day we got to do different activities andgames. One day we played basketball and dodge ball, the next day was swimming, then after that we went roller skating. We also did fun crafts like making potholders on a loom and painting ceramic figurines.My favorite field trip from camp was when we went to the amusement park in the big city nearby. I'm not usually a big fan of roller coasters because they make me feel sick. But I surprised myself and managed to ride the mega coaster that goes upside down like 5 times! It was simultaneously terrifying and exhilarating. I also went on the slingshot ride where they shoot you straight up in the air real fast. Definitely an adrenaline rush!Other highlights of summer camp were camping overnight in tents, having counselor hunt where you tried to sneak up and steal a bandana off their arm, and going to a water park on a hot day and just swimming and going down the water slides for hours. We played so many fun games and did activities that we didn't even have time to get bored or miss school.The end of the summer was a little sad, having to say goodbye to my camp friends and start getting ready to go back to school soon. But we still had one last big event - the borough's annual summer fireworks show! My whole family and our neighbors all brought lawn chairs and snacks to the big parknearby. As the sun went down, a DJ played music to get everyone psyched up. And then the fireworks started exploding in the sky, lighting it up with bright colors and patterns. Some looked like smiley faces or hearts, others crackled on the way down, and the finale was just a huge barrage of fireworks going off every which way. It was such an awesome way to celebrate the end of an amazing summer before heading back to school.So yeah, that's pretty much how my summer vacation went. Between the traveling, the camps, the fireworks and everything else, it was definitely one I'll never forget! Bring on 8th grade!。

【教学安排】
（1）导入语：在我们上课之前，让我们先唱一首英文歌曲《You raise me up 》《你鼓舞了我》，那么在现实生活中，谁最经常在你的身边一直鼓励你呢？
（2）教学流程安排［含详细流程以及流程之间的过渡语、教学内容详细设计（含学题
案内容之外需拓展的知识点、练习设计）、时间安排］
1. 《You raise me up 》《你鼓舞了我》，英语歌曲激情导入。
（5mins）
在课前，我首先先让每一位学生每个人准备两张红色的卡纸，并且剪成爱心桃的样子，在学生唱歌的时候可以一般拿着唱歌一边跳舞。
2. 唱完歌曲以后，进入小组的自学检测环节，老师先带读重点单词和重点短语并且
注意强调学生容易读错的单词，随后，让小组长带着组员在自己小组的黑板前围成一个小
圆圈把本节作文课的重点单词和重点短语齐读并且背诵。
背完之后，以抢答的形式检测本
节课的重点单词和短语。
3. 进入本节课的作文主题：我们是否应该帮助父母做家务？如果应该帮助父母做家务，
那么应该帮助父母做哪些家务？如果不应该，原因是什么？(1mins)
4. 小组开始进行合作探究，板书自己小组内最好的一篇代表作文，前三组与后三组互
相批改作文，先用红色粉笔找出错误，再用蓝色粉笔画出重点句型。
（15mins）学生开始合作探究，学生站在自己小组前面开始合作探究，每个人都提出自己的观点，然后总结出他们组最后的观点，做家务还是不做家务？在合作谈论的过程中，要求每个小
组提出自己的观点之后，还要把他们组的写作思路整理成文，并且板书在黑板。
小组成员
派一名书写比较漂亮的代表进行板书，要求学生书写一定要端正，并且检查自己小组板书
是否有错误，如果有错误的应该及时纠正。
5. 班级大展示：抽取一组或者两组最具代表性的作文进行展示。
（带上实物进行表演）（15mins-20mins）教师点拨，学生点评。
学生在这个环节里面应该想要自己要展示的内容，在自己展示之前应该要先在组内进
行一个小小的组内小展示先预演一遍自己要展示的内容，这样在给学生进行班级大展示和
讲解的时候不容易出错。
其中第二小组先进行展示，他们组的观点是：应该帮助父母做家
务。
在展示的过程中，两个学生代表讲解作文，在讲解作文的同时，另外的一些学生用实
物给同学们进行演示。
带上的实物有：枕头，被子，碗，盆，盘子，筷子和勺子，水桶和
洗脸的脸盆。
学生带上实物进行展示，让课堂更加生动而且有趣，而且使展示也更加形象
生动。
接着是第一小组的展示，第一小组的观点是：不应该帮助父母做家务，应该全心全
力学习。
第一小组用非常响亮的声音展示了他们组的作文，讲解也非常详细到位。
6. 师生共同总结。
学生和老师一起总结，说说本节课学会了哪些内容。
7. 观看学生在家里帮助家长做家务的照片视频，升华和呼吁作文正面主题：我们应该帮助父母做家务。

（4）课堂小结：本单元的重点短语和句型。

【教学反思】
在2017 年三月二十一日周二下午第一节课，我在八年级三班上了一节作文展示课。
课题是：Unit 3 Could you please clean your room? 3a-3c 。
在本节课中，我以歌曲《You raise me up 》拉开本节课的序幕。
这首歌是关于：在你的生活中，谁最经常在身边鼓励你？然后学生一般都会回答是父母。
在唱歌的同时，我
让学生每个人都剪一个爱心的卡纸，唱歌的时候一边舞动卡纸。
学生在开始唱歌的时候都
非常有激情，而且学生对学习英语也比较有兴趣。
在练习唱歌的过程中，同时也是缓解学
生压力和锻炼学生口语的一个机会。
随之，我非常自然地导入本节新课，我问学生们：“在日常生活中，最经常鼓舞我们
的就是我们的父母，我们是否应该帮助父母做家务，如果应该帮助父母做家务，我们应该
做哪些家务？”然后非常自然地导入本节课的主题。
接着，师生共同开始我们的自学检测环节，在本节课的作文教学中，我首先让学生背
诵并熟记本节课中会用到重点短语和重点句型，了解本节课的作文框架。
学生会在黑板前
围成一个小圆圈开始自主学习，合作朗读并背诵短文和重点句型。
要求学生站姿一定要端
正并且朗读的声音一定要响亮，在朗读的时候一定要拼读，小组内要有一个一英一中的对
子小检测，这样学生才能够很好的背诵并记忆。
但是由于本节课的短语和重点短语难度比
较大，所以需要教师多教读几遍并且需要学生多加记忆。
只有在背诵好本节课的重点单词
和重点写作的短语和句型之后，学生在接下来的合作探究中才能写出这篇作文。
自学检测之后进入小组合作探究，小组开始合作探究讨论是否应该做家务，如果应该
做家务，那么应该做哪些家务？小组开始谈论各自给出各自的观点，小组讨论后把他们组
最好的作文板书在黑板，要求板书工整并且板书不要错误。
板书完成之后，小组交换组员，先用蓝色粉笔找出亮点句子，然后用红色粉笔找出错误的地方。
小组订正完成之后，坐回
自己位置。
接着进入班级大展示环节，在本节课中，学生将实物带入了课堂，水桶，碗盘，杯子衣服洗脸盆等，在展示作文的同时也加入了情景的演示，是课堂更加生动有趣。
展示之后，我让学生观看了一个关于学生做家务的一个视频，这些照片的采集也不是
一个简单的过程，我在一开始的时候，我先在群里面发信息，回去要求学生帮助父母做家
务并且拍下照片留念，学生们非常开心。
而通过这个正面的教育，升华本节课的正面主题，
我们应该帮助父母做家务。
通过这个小视频，对学生进行一个情感的教育，我们应该要爱
我们的父母，我们应该帮助父母做家务。
在接下来的英语教学中，我还是坚持以学生为主体，在比较难的单词和短语，应该让
学生多读多记，在最后的总结环节中，应该师生共同总结，把中文的提示语放在PPT上面，这样学生比较清晰明了。
这样学生也能够系统地整理和掌握本节课的知识点。
