以Mike，Sarah，Chen Jie 参观农场的情景为主线，呈现本单元要学习的词汇和句型。
本课是这个单元的第六课时，学生在前四课时中已经学习了有关蔬菜和农场动物的词汇，并且学习了主句型：What are these/those? They are…. Are these/those….? Yes, th ey are./No, they aren’t. These are….在此基础上学习本课内容。
（2）本课教学内容分为读、写两部分：a. 第一部分Read and tick.要求学生借助图片阅读四段文段 ,完成Read and tick 活动。
通过不同层次的阅读活动培养学生的阅读能力。
b.第二部分为有意义的句子书写活动，分两个步骤：第一步为看图、读句子；第二步为个性化书写活动，要求学生模仿例句画图并写出相应的句子。
此部分的目的是让学生在有意义语境中抄写句子或者根据图片或生活实际填写句子，以复习巩固本单元所学核心词汇和句型，强调句子的规范书写。
学情分析（1）四年级的学生已经学习了1年多的英语，具备了一定的英语学习能力和英语思维能力。
大多数学生活泼好动，在课堂上表现欲强，关注自己学习的体验，对于老师具体的评价能产生共鸣。
（2）本课内容中涉及到的话题、词汇和句型，学生们在学习前几课时已经了解和学习过，在三年级时也学习过有关水果、食物、和动物的一些词汇，在拓展活动能更好的输出。
（3）在前三个单元中已经接触了句子的规范书写，但是在实际书写句子中仍会出现首字母不大写，单词间距太窄或太宽、忘记标点符号等问题，需要老师的耐心讲解和正确指导。
【教学目标】1.能够在图片的帮助下读懂短文，在语境中理解新词：garden , goat , eat 的意思。
2.能借助图片、运用速读和跳读等方法来理解文章意思；3.能以模仿的方式来初步感知连读和句子升降调现象并正确朗读文章。
4.能以小组合作的学习方式来运用语言，并能够在有意义的语境中仿写句子These/Those are...5.情感目标：（1）积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务,运用所学的知识进行表达与交流，并投入到各项活动中.（2）让学生养成不挑食多吃蔬菜和水果的好习惯；保护动物，人与动物和谐共处。
