教材分析：
本节课教学内容是冀教版四年级下册Unit2 Days and Months中的第二课。

本单元教学围绕十二个月以及日期，天气展开，其中如何用英语表达日期是本单元的学习的重点，单元中五课的内容都为之做铺垫，或围绕其展开。

本课内容是学习日期表达方法的基础，而日期在今后学习及日常生活中都使用较多，通过本课内容的学习后，学生能听懂、会说、认读、书写，掌握运用序数词，为今后英语学习打好基础。

学情分析：
学生已有了前面三年级下册第二单元、第四单元及本册第一单元第4课英语数字基数词的知识铺垫，比较易于深入与扩展，较容易引导学生从旧知过渡到新知。

这样的安排，即体现了教材循序渐进、由易到难的编排意旨，又符合四年级学生的知识水平和认知水平。

而且在学习本课内容后，学生可以与前面所学的12个月份的知识相结合，顺利过渡到日期的表示方法。

知识目标：
1.学生能够听懂、会说、认读和书写下列词汇：first, ，
second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth
2.学生能识别、理解并能根据正确的顺序排列第一到第十二月份。

能力目标：
1.在学习时集中注意力。

2.能在日常情景中观察到简单的英语对话。

3.养成听录音并跟读的习惯。

情感目标：
学生能体验用英语进行交际的乐趣，在师生、生生交流及小组合作完成任务的过程中，学生敢于开口，积极参与主动请教，提高语言综合运用能力。

重点难点：
1.知识目标1—2 。

2.12个序数词的单词记忆。

教具：
教学课件、12 个序数词的单词卡、1-12 的数字卡，用大字号写有月份的单词卡。

出示课件复习12 个月：Whose birthday is in __(January/ February/ March/ April/ May/ June/July/ August/ September/ October/ November /December ) 课件出示汉语月份，谁是这个月生日谁来读。

课文导入：上节课，我们学习了12 个月份的英语单词，怎么告诉别人哪个月是第一，哪个月是第二？那个月是最后？今天我们就学习这个内容。

1. Numbers
课件出示第一部分图片，Teacher:Look at this picture.问：What do you see?What are they doing? (强调单词Race) Who is the winner? Look at the boy in the red shorts. What place is he in the race? What place is the girl in the race?指名学生做简单回答。

学生讨论，出示句子
Li Ming is the first.
The girl is the second.
The boy in red shorts is the third.
强调：first，second, third.板书，读单词。

课件出示20 页表格中的序数词表，并演示1-12由基数词变为序数词的过程，总结规则，帮助记忆，并练习读一读。

Practice: Listen and do 听做游戏，男生说出任意基数词，学生说出对应序数词。

2.Let’s do it! Pair work. Match and say.
学生两两一组，一名说月份，另一名说出对应的序数词。

Let’s play! Find my friend. 24 名学生分成两组，一组拿月份单词卡，一组拿序数词单词卡，找到自己对应的伙伴，并读出单词。

并依次Try to read:
January is the first month.
February is the second month.
March is the third month.句型。

课件出示以上三个句型，各小组说出对应句型，加强练习运用序数词。

出示课件师生一起完成句型2连线题。

结束课堂教学Class closing：播放歌曲Twelve Months 学生同唱。

教学反思：
本课我设定了两个目标。

第一个目标是学生能对序数词的构成规律的了解。

第二个目标是学生可以熟练的运用句型，进一步掌握所学的知识。

另外，在课堂中，让学生可以根据基本句型来拓展练习，真正掌握在句子中学会一些单词的用法。

总之，引领学生走到真实的情境中，紧紧抓住学生，让学生积极参与到课堂中来，通过各种句型操练与表演，大大提高了学生的语言综合运用能力,有效地培养课后了英语思维模式，并对学生学习策略的培养打下了基础。
