The action scenes are mind-blowingly insane with crazy martial arts battles everywhere they go.My favorite part is when they are in the bamboo forests and have to fight Tai Lung's gorilla and rhino warriors. The bamboo gets smashed everywhere and Po uses outrageous belly bumps to knock the bad guys into the next village. It's pure comedic genius!What I love most about the Kung Fu Panda movies though are the characters. Po is just the coolest, funniest, most awesomely humble panda ever. I want to be just like him - a bodaciously skilled kung fu master who also knows how to joke around. And the rest of the Furious Five are so sleek and stealthywith their fighting styles. Tigress is my favorite with her hardcore moves.But in this movie, you also get to meet some new awesome characters like Po's long lost siblings from his secret panda village. They are hilarious twins named Kun and Fu who love pulling pranks. There's also an epic drunk mouse master who is over 500 years old and knows mastered all the craziest kung fu styles. He's both the wisest and most hilarious character all at once.I don't want to spoil too much, but let's just say the ending is wildly fun and totally unexpected. Po and his friends have to use every ounce of bravery, skill, and wits they have to take down Tai Lung once and for all. But then a new villain named Kai attacks, who is this super evil spirit bull made of jade. Kai was basically the opposite of the good spiritual energy of kung fu masters called chi. Instead of being calm and peaceful, he fed off hatred and anger.Kai's goal was to capture the chi of all the kung fu masters so he could become totally unstoppable. He was already super strong and could shoot jade spirit weapons from his body. With the chi of masters added, he would be able to do anything! So Kai went around defeating all the greatest kung fu masters in China, including Po's idols like Monkey Master Oogway.Po tried to send his dad Mr. Ping and all the valley citizens to safety in a secret sanctuary. But then Kai showed up and captured the chi of Po's heroes, the Furious Five! That was such a scary moment. I couldn't believe Tigress, Monkey, Viper, Mantis and Crane all got beaten so quickly after training for decades. Kai was too powerful.With all his loved ones captured, Po had to go on a mission to become a master himself and learn to tap into the spiritual chi. His only chance was to meet up with his long-lost panda father and relatives and train in their secret panda village. It was awesome seeing the different panda personalities like the zen master, the wrestler, the dancer, and more.At first, the pandas just thought kung fu was"crazy feet and mad names for butt attacks." Po had to show them how it could be taken seriously as an art of self-defense. Gradually he trained them in using the pushpalm technique to access their chi. Wegot to see the montage of the roly-poly pandas getting into peak physical shape, which was really funny.My favorite part was when the spirit realm opened up and Po got to have these crazy visions of the afterlife guided by his old master Oogway. The visuals of the spirit world with its vibrant colors and mythical creatures were just mind-blowing! Imagine skating through the cosmos on celestial ponds and battling spirit warriors. So cool!In the end, Po realized that loving chi like the pandas' represented the truest form of kung fu virtue. He was able to rally all the panda warriors with their newly unlocked chi powers to battle Kai. The final fight sequence was completely epic with the jade monsters and spirit dragons clashing together. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!When Po finally defeated Kai by using the Wuxi Finger Hold technique, sending him back into the spirit realm, I cheered so loud. All the kung fu masters regained their chi and the valley was at peace again, with a new generation of panda warriors to protect it. Along the way, he discovered secrets about his past that helped him unlock an amazing new level of power.
