当然也会有Now in sports(现在进入体育新闻)....../Turn to the Middle East(现在转向中东地区)......

3 people wounded after an attacker storms Iran's parliament building, according to state TV. Three university students in Santiago, Chile, have developed a plant-powered device to charge their mobile phones.Question 5: What did the three university student invent? The U.S. Postal Service announced today that it is considering closing about 3,700 post offices over the next year because of falling revenues.Question 5: What is the U.S. Postal Service planning to do? Egypt is closing its airspace(领空) to Qatari planes in a growing diplomatic row(外交纠纷), with Saudi Arabia expected to do the same on Tuesday.人物:Egypt;Qatari planes;Saudi Arabia时间:现在(is closing正在进行时);Tuesday地点:Egypt;Saudi Arabia事件&方式:closing airspace原因:diplomatic row怎么样? Rescue efforts were underway Thursday morning for 17 miners who were stuck in an elevator below ground at a Cargill rock salt mine near Lansing, New York. Egypt is closing its airspace(领空) to Qatari planes in a growing diplomatic row(外交纠纷), with Saudi Arabia expected to do the same on Tuesday. Because of a growing diplomatic row, Egypt is closing its airspace to Qatari planes. And Saudi Arabia is expected to do the same on Tuesday. When former FBI Director James Comey testifies on Thursday before a Senate committee for the first time since being fired by President Donald Trump in May, it quite possibly will be the biggest piece of political theatre the nation's capital has seen in a generation.FBI即为“Federal Bureau of Investigation美国联邦调查局”的缩写所以,大家对于常见的缩略词一定要熟,这样在考试的时候才能迅速反应过来,省去冥思苦想的时间,把更多的精力放在仔细听题上c)指代现象政治新闻里最常见的指代就是用地址、住所指代机构、人物,如: The White House said that President Donald J. Trump will leave a pro-LGBT Obama executive order intact.

In recent months, though, environmental studies indicate there have been signs of improvement. That’s due in part to the removal of many of the capital’s old-fashioned black and white taxis. Most of these dated back to the 1960s and 70s and were in a poor state of repair. After new legislation demanded their removal from the roads, a low interest loan scheme was set up with three Egyptian banks so drivers could buy new cars. The government pays about $900 for old ones to be discarded and advertising on the new vehicles helps cover repayments. The idea has proved popular with customers ― they can now travel in air-conditioned comfort and because the new cabs are metered, they don’t have to argue over fares. B anks and car manufacturers are glad for the extra business in tough economic times. As for the taxi drivers, most are delighted to be behind the wheel of new cars, although there have been a few complaints about switching from black and white to a plain white colour.5.
