Another prompt wanted students to write a short story from the perspective of an inanimate object. How weird is that? Like writing as a pencil or a water bottle? I'd try my best, but I'm not sure how good my story would be.Then there were questions on grammar, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary. Ugh, that's the boring stuff! But it's probably important for doing well on the exam. I'm still learning lots of those grammar rules in school. Vocabulary is fun though –I'm picking up new words all the time from books I read.The exam also had a section on spoken language skills.
