Unit 4 Communication Workshop
教材分析
本课是北师大版《初中英语》七年级下册教材第4单元的Communication Workshop 部分。
本单元的话题为季节与气候。
通过前三个输入课的学习，学生通过听力，能够获取天气情况的信息；通过阅读，了解北京及世界各地不同的天气情况并且能够获取假日旅行信息。
在本课，学生要综合使用本单元所获取的有关的信息和词汇，以书面形式写一篇短文，提供假日旅行信息。
本课的教学设计分为两课时，第一课时在获取范文信息的基础上，引导学生关注旅游海报文章结构，语言表达方式和连接词；通过小组合作的方式，讨论列出写作提纲。
在第二课时，教师根据评价反馈表，在范文点评示范的基础上，引导学生进行写作自评和互评，学会欣赏他人写作的优点。

本课说明：
本单元谈论季节和天气，本课整体复习并扩展小学英语涉及的关于季节、天气、月份及服装词汇以及谈论天气的功能用语。
学生围绕天气的话题，谈论各种不同的假日活动。
本课通过听、读等活动进一步辨识并规范辅音字母sh, ch等的发音，以及辨识音标[ʃ]，[tʃ]。
➢本课所涉及词汇大部分在小学课本中都出现过，天气话题也不陌生。
➢第一课时复习并扩展小学英语涉及的关于季节、天气、月份及服装词汇并且围绕天气的话题，谈论不同的活动。
➢第二课时复习第一课时中所涉及的名词和形容词。
并通过听、说等活动归纳谈论天气的功能句并关注sh, ch 的发音。
➢由于学生词汇积累不同，大范围的扩展单词可能会遇到困难。
小组成员间的互助会有一定帮助。

1、学生能够归纳出四季和12个月份的名词，并能正确拼写表示天气的形容词。
2、学生通过阅读，进一步了解北京的天气，并能够正确查找信息，完成表格。
第二课时教学目标：
1、学生能够通过听、说等活动进一步巩固与天气和季节相关的词汇，并且运用功能句与同伴进行讨论。
2、帮助学生关注sh, ch 的发音，并能够发现更多具有音标[ʃ]，[tʃ]的单词。
