二、教学课题
通过学习使学生了解西方节日的基本知识，并且进一步培养跨文化意识，注重西方节日的表达，中西文化的差异。在弘扬中华文明的同时，让学生享受一顿文化交融的大餐，提高了英语学习的兴趣。
1. 运用精美的课件，动画和音乐来引出所要学的西方节日，并作简单的介绍让学生感知圣诞节日气氛，了解西方国家送礼和受礼习俗。
2. 运用图片和资料，初步学会分析中西文化的不同，培养学生提取、加工信息和分析问题的能力。
3. 根据提供的材料和信息,学生学会用英语表达自己如何赠送和接受礼物，培养学生的英语表达能力，并增进学生间的友谊。
三、教材分析
牛津小学英语6A教材是小学阶段英语学习的最后一个激发年级，也是与中学英语教材衔接最紧密最直接的一册书，主要是激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养他们英语学习的积极态度，使他们形成初步运用英语进行简单日常交流的能力，为进一步学习打下基础。
我这次教案的内容是Unit 7 At christams的第一课时，这一单元的主要话题是：“谈论物品的归属”，即名词性物主代词，通过本单元的教学，要求学生能在一定的情景下正确使用名词性物主代词，并掌握一些日常生活用品的词汇，如：wallet、comb、teapot等，以及句型Whose …is it/are they? It’s/They’re mine/yours/his/hers/ours.和日常交际用语和名词性物主代词的使用。
本节课的目标预设：
1. 知识与技能目标：
1）说读单词 teapt 、 wallet、comb、mirror、calculator、watch、skateboard、hairdryer.

教材分析：
本课围绕“谈论节日里所做的事”这一话题展开教学。这是一个学生十分感兴趣的事，为了保证学生在课堂上有话想说，有话可说，教师在课前就布置了学生搜集有关东西方节日的风俗资料，逐步培养学生搜集处理信息的能力。对于农村的孩子来说，对于节日的活动不是很熟悉，尤其是西方节日。为了帮助学生取得良好的学习效果，教师运用不同的教学方法去刺激学生的学习欲望，最大限度地调动学生的学习积极性去参与课堂学习，尽可能地让学生在这节课的学习过程中获得大量的信息，在愉快的课堂中掌握好学习的内容，并在学习的过程中融入对西方文化和风俗的介绍。
