❖ 英语中hot、 cold 、warm 、cool四个词不仅 可以用来形容气温的状况，还可以用来形容 人的情感态度。比如hot可以说get hot under the collar意思是怒气冲天、发怒。这个惯用 语和汉语中的“气得脸红脖子粗”意思相近。 与hot相反，cold-blooded指人或行动无情的， 残酷的。Play it cool指不露声色、沉着冷静， 与汉语里“喜怒不形于色”意思相同。同样 warm-hearted指热心肠的；warm-blooded 指人热心的、热情的。

本单元核心内容是天气，同时能够运用表示请求的句型Can I...? 学生根据天气的实际情况来回答，Yes,you can ,No, you can’t ,并告知原因。
其中涉及大量的动作短语和描述天气情况的单词。
因此，在教学过程中，运用歌曲展开课堂教学，激发学生学习的热情与积极性。
再次利用多媒体的特殊效果，给学生创设真实的学习情境，通过多媒体演示，逐步呈现教学内容。
最后通过竞赛活动、表演活动、TPR活动等多种手段来提高学生的听、说能力和合作能力。
在教学过程中努力做到单词教学与句型操练相结合，以利于学生发展语言技能，提高实际运用语言的能力。
学情分析四年级的学生活泼好动，纯真可爱。
