这是一个和学生的实际生活有着密切联系的内容，教学目的是激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生学习英语的积极态度，使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心；培养学生一定的语感和良好的语音、语调、书写基础，以及良好的学习习惯；使他们形成初步用英语进行简单日常交流的能力，为今后的英语学习奠定良好的基础。
二、说学生本课时的教学对象是三年级学生，小学生活泼好动，根据《小学英语新课程标准》提出的目标，其中有一个非常重要的目标就是要激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养他们学习英语的积极态度，是他们初步建立学习英语的自信心，使他们初步具备用英语进行简单日常交流的能力。
因此小学英语课堂进行的活动教学应该是能直接激发小学生对语言学习的兴趣，能使孩子们的多元智能在交际活动中得以体现和发展。
因而，我在设计这堂课时，一直注意尽可能的把课堂还给孩子，让学生与学生，学生与老师之间多进行语言的交流，如：为学生创设见面打招呼、自我介绍以及道别等情景，使学生了解英语常用用语以及使用环境。
教学中，除让学生听懂以上日常用语以外，还应培养学生乐于开口,敢于开口讲英语的习惯，激发学生想学、乐学英语的兴趣和愿望。
三、说教法新课标强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认识水平出发，倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式达到发展学生对语言的综合运用能力。
为了达到教学目标，落实教学重难点，本堂课借助多媒体课件化解重难点，同时采用直观情景教学法，图片法，TPR教学法，全身动作反应法等激趣，减负增效，展开教学。
在整个教学中，我注意师生的互动，从听、说、玩、唱—对话—游戏等一系列活动完成本课的教学任务。
