一、Warm-up
1.Let’s paly
火眼金睛Read quickly, 快速读出出现的单词。
2. Revision
1). 教师出示一图片问Can you tell me what’s Mr Chen like?学生回答He is funny.
2).教师出示一图片问Can you tell me what’s Wu Yifan like?学生回答He is hard-working.
3).教师出示一图片问Can you tell me what’s Sarah like?学生回答She is helpful.
4).教师出示一图片问Can you tell me what’s the boy like?学生回答He is polite.
5).教师出示一图片问Who is he?学生回答He is a football player.
[设计意图]出示学生们喜闻乐见的图片可以大大激发他们的学习兴趣，有利于学生完全投入到课堂活动中来。
二、Story time
1. 教师出示Zip和Zoom的图片，然后说Zoom and Zip will have a new PE teacher today.再出示Zip说的话What’s the new PE teacher like?
教师说：让我们通过story time看看What’s the new PE teacher like?
2. 教师展示故事1，领读对话，然后讲解:
will后跟动词原形。
eg. Who will come today?
3. 教师展示故事2，领读对话，然后讲解:
1). only只。
eg. I only know I am a student.
2). must be一定是，表示推测。
4.教师展示故事3，领读对话，然后讲解:
1). shoot射击。
2). miss错过。
eg. I miss the bus.

1). join you加入你们。
2). show展示。
6.教师展示故事5，领读对话，然后讲解：

小学英语注重学生的读和说,很多同学对英语学习没有兴趣,针对这种情况,教师在上课期间注意调动学生的积极性。

重点:能够听懂、读懂story time 的故事内容,并运用主要句型与人交流。
难点:能够运用“What is he/she like?”询问某人的性格和外貌特征,并根据实际情况做出准确回答。

Unit 1 What’s he like？C Story time 教学设计摘要：本文是课文Unit 1 What’s he like？C Story time 的教学设计关键词：设计说明目标定位教学过程一、教材分析：Unit 1 What’s he like？C 部分Story time选自《PEP小学英语》教材五年级上册第一单元Part C Story Time。
在这个单元中孩子们主要学习What’s he like?He’s…/ She’s和Is he/ she…? Yes, he/she is. /No, he/ she isn’t.等句型。
因此，这一节故事课主要是综合孩子们的已有语言知识，在理解故事的基础上进行有感情的朗读和角色表演。
通过理解、朗读、表演故事等方式进一步提高学生的综合语言运用能力，以及培养他们自主运用语言的积极态度。
二、教学设计说明：如何带领孩子们在故事情境下理解故事、有感情的朗读故事并表演故事，我通过Pre-reading, While-reading 和Post-reading三个环节进行教学设计。
在Pre-reading环节，我试图通过学生已学过的A、B部分的主要内容，来唤醒他们对本单元重点句型的回忆，进而引出今天故事中的主人公“Zip和Zoom”。
在While-reading环节，我先让孩子们带着任务整体感知故事；然后通过分段精读的方式，一边解决问题，一边模仿朗读来体会故事的情感，进而学习和理解故事；在Post-reading环节，通过学生表演故事的方式激发学生对故事学习的热情，为以后的故事学习打下良好基础。
三、教学目标定位：1、能听、说、读only,shoot, missed,join等单词和口头运用描述人物特征的句型。
2、在理解故事的基础上能用正确的语音语调朗读故事。
3、通过表演故事不断激发学生对英语学习的积极情感。
4、通过阅读拓展故事培养学生的故事阅读能力。
