In-reading
Mr. Jones likes villages, too. He has a house near the nature park. Let’s go and see.
1. Look and say.
教师出示Mr. Jones’ house，边展示边引导学生用：There is a．．．There are，．介绍Mr. Jones’ house以巩固there be句型。
客厅里出现Robin，教师顺势问道：Who’s this? Do you know? Is this Mr. Jones? 教师介绍Robin是Mr. Jones的好朋友，来家里玩。
图片上的Robin望着窗外。
教师可以问学生：What can he see? 引出窗外的nature park。
2. Guess. What’s in the nature park?
让学生来猜一猜自然公园里有什么。
可以用There is/are…句型来猜测。
然后出示自然公园的图片，师生一起来描述公园里的景物。
学习high mountain，in front of.…near等词，注意方位介词的使用.
3. Ask and answer.
用Is /Are there…in t he park?来提问公园里的景物，如果有，回答：Yes，there is/are没有，回答：No, there isn’t/aren’t
师生问答，生生问答。
4. Listen to the tape
(1)听录音Read and write，理解句意。
(2)听录音跟读。
(3)学生两人一组进行朗读。
设计意图：创设情境，通过Robin的视线，引出自然公园。
通过猜测和描述，复习there be句型陈述句的使用，同时学习新词，坚持词不离句，句不离词的原则。
围绕图片问答，复习巩固there be句型的一般疑问句形式，培养学生看图表达的能力。

教师在播放录音时可出示一些熊猫的图片或一些有关熊猫的视频资料，让学生有感性的认识，从而也提高学生学习的兴趣。
教师也可制作一些图片：mounta in,fo res t, panda, bamboo,在听歌曲的同时教师把这些图片逐一贴到黑板上，让学生在唱歌的同时对歌曲的内容有大概的了解，对歌曲中的单词有所认识，为下面知识的学习做好铺垫。
⑵口语练习教师出示第五单元 Let’s try 部分的挂图。
教师用问句提示：What’s in the room? What’s near the closet? What’s behind the door? What’s over the bed? 待学生回答后，教师示范mir ror in the room.介绍房间，之后请学生用There be的句型来描述该部分的房间图。

2．另外，本单元There be 句型一般疑问句中any一词的用法及字母组合er, or, wh的发音规则比较难以掌握，教师在教学中要予以特别关注。
