这节课是Unit1 How Tall Are Y ou的第二课时。
完成了2个教学目标,第1个是使学生听、说、读、写四会句型：“How tall are you？I’m 164 cm tall. Y ou are shorter than me. Y ou are 4 cm taller than me.”并能在情境中正确运用；第2个是调查同学的年龄、体重和身高并就调查结果进行比较分析，做出汇报。
王老师的课有很多闪光点：1、从复习上一节课的知识点开始导入，循序渐进进入本节课的新知识点。
2、课堂气氛较活跃，课堂形式多样化，在复习“how tall are you？；how old are you？；I am younger than……；I am older than …….；I am shorter than…….；I am taller than……”的时候，教师的提问面很广，照顾到了班级里的后进生，在师生互动中帮助困难生理解把握重点句型。
3、课堂笔记的规范和强调使得学生上课更专注，同时也使课堂重难点的呈现一目了然，帮助学生有序复习。
对于后30%的学生，他们也能专注课堂，不游离于课堂之外，提高了学习的效率。
4、教师肢体语言丰富，例如在教授新词strong ----stronger的时候，用上了肢体语言，不仅便于学生理解新词，更能加深学生对新词的印象。
这节课在教授身高、体重时，要涉及到三、四年级的数字，孩子们对以前学过的知识已经有点遗忘了，对数字表达不是很到位，从而造成了孩子们表达障碍和老师的教学困难。
英语学习是一环扣一环，循序渐进的过程，如果中间知识系统出现漏洞，会对孩子的英语的提高造成瓶颈。
因此，我们老师除了要落实本节课的知识点外，我们还要帮助孩子们把以前的知识点重新捡起来。
