其教学目的是：通过课堂教学培养学生说的能力，提高会话技巧，培养学生初步运用英语进行交际的能力。
其教学重心为：培养学生的交际能力。
因此在我的对话课课堂教学中，Warm up 环节我以一首活泼的The Months 歌曲进行导入，接着复习学过的12 个月份和When is...? It’s in...的句型，通过Let’s try 让学生初步感知A部分的核心句型，引出本课本节课的主题Special days，自然讨论复习了第三单元的核心句型When is...? It’s in... 为进入文本的“说”做好充分的知识储备和心理准备；Presentation 环节我以问题为引领，注重设计层次性任务，呈现文本的两个时间，让学生听音选择相应的事件，培养学生的听力技能；带着问题观看flash 整体感知文本，然后，搜寻关键信息，完成When is the art show? 和When is the reading festival?,逐步培养学生听音和抓关键信息的能力，同时处理本课的难点：It’s on May 1st/It’s on May 5th；朗读环节注重学生语音、语调的模仿；Practice 环节让学生小组内连线并用所学句型回答关于holidays 的日期，培养学生语言的运用能力；Production 拓展延伸、通过一个有趣的故事，引出母亲节，让小组自编关于母亲节的活动的对话。
课堂上我通过设计各种“说”的活动，以“说”带说，引导学生逐步形成交际策略，养成良好的交流习惯，通过层次性对话活动帮助学生逐步形成一定的交际能力。

本节课处在本单元第二课时，动词词组在Let’s learn中已经出现过，如：water the flowers, sweep the floor, cook the meals, empty the trash等。
并且第一课时中已经重点学习，本单元的教学内容与学生日常生活联系密切，在课堂中应鼓励学生每天做适量的家务劳动，并学习用英语表达。
【教学背景及学情分析】五年级的学生通过前两年的学习，对英语单词、句子的掌握有一定的基础。
执教学生为农村小学的孩子，英语基础较薄弱，口语表达能力欠佳，本节课我会着重加强学生的口语交流，做到关注到每一位学生，不放过每一个学生。
