Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.Period 3教材分析本节课是初中英语新教材九年级英语第4单元的第三课时,本单元的核心话题为“talkabout what they used to be like”,围绕着谈论过去自己和他人过去经常做的事,谈论自己和他人过去的外貌\性格\爱好,以观察图片、听力理解、阅读理解等训练方式和独立学习、合作交流、完成任务等形式完成目标语言的输入,学习句型Used to 为主要学习任务,并且设置任务型综合性语言实践活动,让学生在交际活动中,学会如何正确地用英语表达自己的意见和建议,重在培养学生的习得语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。
学生情况分析通过两年的学习,九年级学生大多数已有了相对较扎实的英语功底,形成了自己学习英语的方法和习惯,本班大多数学生都能使用目标语言进行会话交流。
但由于九年级平时学习任务重,时间紧张,他们对英语的习趣和热情已不像七八年级那样高涨。
也有部分学生对英语失去了兴趣,但他们有较强的模仿和记忆能力,且对于新事物的接收能力比较强。
本节课要面向全体学生,对学生进行听说能力的训练和提高学生在任务中学习的能力,同时也要考虑教学方式的趣味性和有效性。

大概是9月20日,我上了一节课,内容为GoforitGrage9Unit2Iusetobeafraidofthedark.Thefirstperiod.本节课是这一单元的第一课时,主要语言结构为 usedto+动词原形表示过去经常发生的事情he过去的状态。
首先我通过简笔画的形式展示三个小孩子,引导学生使用已学的语言谈论他们的外貌不同点,以此引发学习的兴趣。
在此基础上引导学生进行猜测游戏,猜测他们的性格,从而引出新单词。
结合课件中的图片,引导学生对人物的今昔进行对比,学生很自然的学到目标语言。
进而和同学一起完成听力训练及结合目标语言所设计的任务。
然后引导学生在小组讨论中总结本节课的知识点及进行达标测评。
最后对本节课的知识进行括展,布置课后作业。
上完这节课后,我有几点反思:1.成功之处,本课设计由潜入深,通过图片引出问题,图片中的孩子的外貌与过去有哪些不同点?然后我带学生一步一个脚印,渐渐进入每个任务去解决问题,让学生非常自然的领会本课的知识点。
简笔画及教学课件的运用起到了直观便捷的作用,省时而且加大了课堂的密度,扩大了容量。
课件的直观,加深学生学习英语的兴趣,认为英语不再是课本上乏味的没有生命力的文字,而是一种鲜活的动态语言。
在学习的过程中,学生通过自主学习,与同桌及小组同学讨论,探究,合作来完成任务,促进学生的能力发展。
同时,课堂上我比较重视教学过程的评价,及时奖励学生。
2.不足之处,本课上没有安排好写作方面的练习。
而写作对于九年级学生来说是非常重要的,以后的教学中应该结合内容适当安排相应阅读和写作的训练;任务设计单一化。

肯定句He used to get up early.The river used to be clean.否定句在否定句中常用didn’t use to, used not to或usedn’t toHe didn’t use to get up early.The river usedn’t to be clean.疑问句在疑问句中常用Did …used to…? 或Used … to …?Did you use to be a teacher?Used you to be a teacher?反意疑问句She used to live in the country, didn’t / usedn’t she?There used to be a big tree here, didn’t / usedn’t there?注意used to与would用法区别:used to 表示过去习惯性的动作,现在已经不如此了;would则常用来表示过去和现在均可能有的习惯动作。
两者意思基本相同,但used to较为口语化。
Used to常不需要表示时间的副词短语或从句,而would 则需要。
例如:He used to get up early.他过去起床很早。
He would get up early when he was young, and he is used to getting up early.他年轻的时候习惯于早起,现在仍习惯于早起。
used to 既表动作,又表状态,而would只用于表动作。
如“她过去身体很好”只能译为She used to be healthy.,不能译成She would be healthy.be used to + n. / doingbe used to中的to是介词,后面加名词或doing sth,其中be 有各种时态的变化形式,表示“习惯于……”。
例:She is used to living in the country.He is used to hard work / to working hard.I am not used to being spoken to in that rude way.You’ll soon be / get / bee / grow used to our way of living.I have been used to rice / eating rice.used sth to do sth (主动形式)“用……干某事”;sth be used to do sth(被动形式)“……被用来干某事”。
例如:(1)I used a knife to cut bread.A knife is used to cut bread.(2)They use coal to keep warm.Coal is used to keep warm.be used for +n. / doing sthbe used for 中, for为介词,后加名词或doing,表示“……被用来干某事”,与be used to do sth 同义。
