so和such的区别

such和so都可以用来表示程度，意思是“如此；这样”，但用法却不相同。

1．such是形容词，用来修饰名词，名词前有无形容词都可以；so是副词，用来修饰形容词或副词，形容词后可以省略名词。

例如：
He is such a（big）fool．他是个（大）傻瓜。

He is so foolish（a man）．他是如此愚蠢（的一个人）。

2．单数名词前有不定冠词与形容词时，so和such的位置不同。

前者为“so＋形容词＋冠词＋名词”，后者为“such＋冠词＋形容词＋名词”。

例如：
I know such a clever boy．我认识如此聪明的一个男孩。

I know so clever a boy．我认识如此聪明的一个男孩。

3．so后即使有形容词，也不能修饰复数名词或不可数名词，而such则可以。

例如：
They are such useful books．它们是如此有用的书。

He gave us such good food．他给了我们这么好的食物。

4．名词前有表示“多、少”意义的many，much，few，little等修饰词时，要用so，不用such。

例如：
There are so many flowers in our school garden．我们学校的花园里有那么多的花。

You'll find English a bridge to so much knowledge．你会发现英语是通向如此丰富
知识的桥梁。

I have so little money that I can't lend you any．我的钱很少，不能借给你。

5．当little表示“小”的意思修饰可数名词时，其前只能用such，不能用so。

例如：
I have never seen such little sheep before．我
以前从没见过这么小的绵羊。

两者都可表示“这样”、“如此”之意。

so为副词，用来修饰形容词或副词，即so＋adj．／adv．。

such为形容词，用来修饰名词，即such ＋n．。

如果修饰单数可数名词（名词前有形容词修
饰），其后需加不定冠词a或an，即把不定冠词置于such的后面，形容词的前面，即such ＋a（an）＋adj．＋n．。

如：
I'm so glad to hear from my friend．收到我朋友的来信我真高兴。

It's such an important match that we can't miss it．这么重要的比赛，我们不能错过。

此外，当such修饰带形容词的单数可数名词时，such ＋a（an）＋adj．＋n．可替换成so＋adj．＋a（an）＋n．；当many，much，few，little这些表示“多”、“少”的不定量的形容词修饰复数名词或不可数名词，构成名词短语时，一般只能用so修饰，不能用such修饰。

如：
She is such a nice girl that our teacher likes her very much．＝She is so nice a girl that our teacher likes her very much．她真是个好女孩，我们的老师很喜欢她。

I've had so many falls that I'm black and blue all over．我摔了好多跤，结果全身青一块，紫一块。

such 是形容词，修饰名词或名词词组，so是副词，只能修饰形容词或副
词。

so 还可与表示数量的形容词many，few，much，little连用，形成固定搭配。

so + adj. such + a(n) + n.
so + adj. + a(n) + n. such + n. (pl.)
so + adj. + n. (pl.) such +n. (pl.)
so + adj. + n. [不可数] such +n. [不可数]
so foolish such a fool
so nice a flower such a nice flower
so many/ few flowers such nice flowers
so much/little money. such rapid progress
so many people such a lot of people
so many 已成固定搭配，a lot of 虽相当于many，但a lot of 为名词性的，只能用such搭配。

so…that与such…that之间的转换既为so与such之间的转换。

so与such的区别
答：两者都可以表示“这样”，“如此”的意思。

(1)so是副词，用来修饰形容词或副词。

例如:
I am so glad to hear from my friend.
收到我朋友的信我真高兴。

He writes so well.
他写得这么好。

(2)such是形容词，用来修饰名词(名词前面可以带形容词，也可以不带)。

如果修饰单数可数名词，其后需加不定冠词a或an.例如:
He told us such a funny story.
他给我们讲了一个这么有趣的故事。

You are interested in such things.
你对这种事感兴趣。

注意：
当单数可数名词前面有形容词修饰时，也可以用so,但要改变冠词的位置。

例如:
He told us so funny a story.
巧记so和such的用法：
名前such,形，副so，多多少少也用so.
little属特殊，“小”用such,“少”用so.
说明：1.当名词前有many, much, few和little等词修饰时，要用so而不用such.如:
I have had so many falls that I'm black and blue all over.
我摔了很多跤，以致全身青一块紫一块的。

There is so little time that we can't finish work on time.
只有这么少的时间，我们无法按时完成工作。

2.当little作“小的”讲，修饰名词时，其前面仍须用such,而不用so.如:
They are such little children that they can't do anything.
这些孩子太小了，无法做任何事情。
