大学期间应该培养哪些能力英语作文

大学期间应该培养哪些能力英语作文

大学期间应该培养哪些能力英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1What Skills We Need to Learn at UniversityHi everyone! My name is Jenny and I'm 8 years old. I love school and learning new things every day. My teacher asked us to imagine what it would be like to go to university and what skills we should try to develop while we're there. At first, I didn't really know what "skills" meant, but my teacher explained that skills are abilities we practice to get better at doing something.I think when I grow up and go to university, the most important skill I'll need to learn is how to be independent and take care of myself. My parents help me a lot now with things like making my lunch, doing my laundry, and reminding me when to go to bed. But at university, I'll be living away from home so I'll have to do all those things myself! I'll need to learn how to cook, clean, manage my time, wake up on time, and be responsible for getting all my work done without my parents around. It might be hard at first, but I know it will help me grow up to be a mature, independent adult.Another key skill I'll want to develop at university is how to study effectively and stay focused. I heard university classes are much harder than elementary school, with lots of big readings, writing assignments, and difficult exams. That means I'll need excellent study habits like taking good notes, making flashcards, and finding quiet places to concentrate without getting distracted. I'll also want to learn skills for doing research using big books (encyclopedias?) and computers to find information for my papers and projects. My teacher says it's very important at university to cite or give credit to the sources I get information from so I don't plagiarize, which is taking someone else's words or ideas without giving them credit. That sounds like a hard skill I'll really need to work on.At university, they'll also expect me to participate a lot more in class than I do now. So I'll have to build up my confidence and skills for public speaking, asking questions, working on group projects, and respectfully disagreeing with others' opinions. My mom says this skill of clearly communicating my ideas will be super helpful for giving presentations, working on team projects, participating in class discussions, talking to professors during office hours, and eventually interviewing for jobs after I graduate. It's something a lot of people struggle with, but university will give me many chances to practice and improve.I've also heard that managing your time, prioritizing tasks, and dealing with stress are crucial skills for university students. There is so much to juggle with going to classes, studying, working on assignments, participating in clubs or sports, having a job, and still making time for friends and fun! I can see how it would be really easy to feel overwhelmed if I don't learn how to make schedules, set goals, take breaks, get enough sleep, and stay on top of everything. Stress and anxiety are huge problems for a lot of university students, so I'll definitely want to develop healthy coping strategies early on. Maybe I can take up yoga, meditation, or just make sure to schedule fun activities to look forward to each week! Finally, a big part of university is being exposed to new ideas from classmates with very different backgrounds and perspectives than me. So having an open mind, being curious about other cultures, and learning to respect different viewpoints will be valuable skills. My parents taught me to keep an open mind, but at university I'll get to meet people from all over the world! It will be a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, challenge my assumptions, and develop a more global mindset that embraces diversity in all its forms. I'm sure some of my beliefs and values will be questioned, but that's okay as long as I stay respectful while still voicing my own opinions.Wow, just writing this has made me realize there is SO much more to university than just attending classes and getting good grades! It seems like the real point is to become a mature, independent, well-rounded person who can think critically, communicate effectively, and be successful in whatever path I choose after graduation. The academic work itself will be really challenging, but I'm most excited about the opportunity to develop all these essential life skills. With focus and dedication, I'm confident I can build the skills needed to make the most of my university experience. It may be over a decade away still, but I can already feel myself getting prepared! Thanks for reading my essay. I hope you all have a marvelous day!篇2What Skills Should You Develop in College?Hi friends! Today I want to talk to you about college. College is where you go after you finish high school. It's like a really big school for grown-ups! Working on your writing abilities is crucial. You want to practice organizing your thoughts clearly, supporting your ideas withevidence, checking for proper grammar and spelling, and communicating effectively.Public SpeakingHaving to speak in front of groups is scary for a lot of people. But it's a fear you'll need to conquer! In college, you'll likely have to give presentations, participate in discussions, or even speak in front of a whole lecture hall. The more practice and experience you get public speaking in college, the more confidence you'll build.Critical ThinkingCritical thinking means learning how to analyze information objectively, question ideas, see different perspectives, and draw logical conclusions. You can't just accept everything you read or hear as truth. Developing your critical thinking abilities will serve you incredibly well in college and beyond.Research SkillsFor many college assignments, you'll need to conduct research, find reliable sources, evaluate evidence, and put together well-reasoned arguments. Learning how to properly research a topic is a valuable skill that will help you in your future career too.TeamworkIn the real world, you often have to collaborate with others on projects and tasks. Throughout college, you'll probably have plenty of group assignments that require teamwork. Study hard, believe in yourself, and stay focused on becoming the best version of you that you can be. I know you've got this!篇3What Skills Should We Develop in College?Hi friends! Today I want to talk about college. College is where you go after you finish high school. It's a place for learning new things and getting ready for your future job. Some peoplethink college is just about studying books and taking tests, but I think it's also really important for developing life skills. There are lots of different skills we should try to build up when we're in college. The first one is time management. In college, you don't have teachers watching over you all the time to make sure you're doing your homework and assignments. You have to learn how to use your time wisely and get things done without someone reminding you. It's like being a grown-up!Another important skill is being independent. When you're in college, your parents aren't there to cook your meals, clean up after you, or tell you when to go to bed. You have to take care of yourself. That means doing your own laundry, buying your own food, and setting a good sleep schedule. It's tough at first, but it helps you get ready for life after college. We should also work on our communication skills in college. You'll have to talk to your professors, join study groups, and maybe even do presentations in front of the class. It's good practice for the future when you might have to speak up in meetings or explain things to colleagues at work. The more comfortable you get with communicating, the better.Organization is a big one too. With so many classes, activities, and assignments, it's easy for things to get messy anddisorganized in college. You need to find ways to keep track of everything like using a planner or calendar. Getting organized helps you stay on top of your responsibilities. In college, you'll also need to build up your researching abilities. You'll probably have to write a lot of papers and essays, which means finding good sources of information and knowing how to analyze them. Developing great research skills prepares you for any career where you might have to gather and make sense of data.Another important skill is managing finances. Most college students don't have a ton of money, so you have to be really careful about budgeting for things like tuition, textbooks, food, rent, and fun activities. It's excellent practice for when you're older and have to pay for everything yourself. We shouldn't forget about social skills either. In college, you'll meet people from all different backgrounds. It's a great chance to practice being friendly, starting conversations, resolving conflicts, and collaborating with others. These are abilities you'll need in relationships, communities, and workplaces. Finally, I think it's crucial to develop good study habits while you're in college. You'll have to discover what works best for you- whether it's reading out loud, making flashcards, or teaching the material to someone else. With effective study strategies, you'll be able to take in and remember lots of new information. As you can see, college isn't just about taking classes and getting grades. It's also about growing as a person and mastering important life skills. Things like time management, independence, communication, organization, research, money management, social skills, and studying techniques are all incredibly valuable. The more we develop these abilities in college, the better preparation we'll have for whatever comes next after graduation. Who's ready to take on the challenge? Let's make the most of our college experience!篇4What Abilities Should Be Developed During UniversityHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm a 4th grader. My big brother Tommy just started university last year. When he came home for winter break, I asked him what it was like and what he had been learning. He told me university is way different than elementary school or even high school. It's a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun and freedom.Tommy said that in university, you don't just learn facts and information like in my classes. You have to develop all sorts of important abilities that will help you in your future career and life.I thought that sounded really interesting, so I bugged him to tell me what kinds of abilities he meant. Here are some of the main ones he talked about:First off, Tommy said you have to get really good at managing your own time. In university, you don't have teachers or parents watching over you and making sure you get your work done. You're totally responsible for yourself. There are deadlines for papers and projects, but nobody is going to nag you about them. You have to learn to make a schedule, prioritize tasks, and avoid distractions so you don't fall behind. Time management is super important!Another ability Tommy mentioned is becoming an independent learner. He said in university, the professors just give you an overview in class and assign readings. But you're expected to go explore topics more deeply on your own through research, experimentation, discussion with classmates, etc. You can't just sit back and absorb information anymore. You have to take charge of your own learning process. That sounds kind of hard but also empowering!Critical thinking and problem-solving were two more abilities Tommy highlighted. He said university isn't just about memorizing facts, but about analyzing information, questioning assumptions, seeing things from multiple perspectives, and coming up with creative solutions to challenges. You have to get used to thinking for yourself rather than just accepting what the textbook or teacher says. That's a big change from how we learn in elementary school, but it will be really valuable.Tommy also talked about improving communication abilities like writing, public speaking, giving presentations, working in groups, and listening actively. In university and the workforce, he said you constantly have to express your ideas clearly and persuasively to others, whether it's researching and writing papers, giving presentations in class, collaborating on group projects, or just discussing readings with classmates. Strong communication is crucial.Something else Tommy learned was how to manage stress and develop resilience. University is tough with all the work, competing demands for your time, frequent evaluations through tests and papers, uncertainty about the future career path, being apart from family and childhood friends, etc. You have to find healthy ways to deal with stress, overcome setbacks, and persistthrough difficulties. Building resilience is just as important as academic skills. Finally, as you might expect, Tommy said developing expertise in your chosen field of study is a huge part of university. Whether it's literature, physics, business, engineering, or any other subject, you go really deep into learning everything about that area through intense coursework, research projects, internships, and more. By the time you graduate, you should have specialized knowledge that prepares you to enter a certain career path or pursue further studies. Those were the main abilities Tommy highlighted as important in university - time management, independent learning, critical thinking, communication, resilience, and expertise in your academic discipline. I have to admit, it all sounds pretty challenging, but also really exciting! I can't wait until I'm old enough to go to university someday and develop those abilities myself. Tommy said mastering those skills is what turns you from a kid who just absorbs information into a knowledgeable, capable adult ready for the real world. How cool is that? I better start practicing now so I'm prepared! Anyways, thanks for reading my essay. I hope I explained things clearlyfrom a kid's perspective. Let me know if you have any other questions!篇5What Abilities Should Be Developed During UniversityHi everybody! Today I want to talk to you about some really important abilities that you should try to develop when you go to university. University is a big step up from elementary school, middle school, and even high school. There are a lot of new challenges and you need to be prepared. The first ability I think is super important is being able to manage your time well. In university, you won't have teachers reminding you when assignments are due or telling you exactly what to do every day. You have to take responsibility for your own schedule and make sure you use your time wisely. There are a lot of potential distractions like parties, video games, Netflix and so on. You need to have good self-discipline to avoid those distractions when you should be studying or working on projects. Making a weekly schedule and sticking to it can really help.Another key ability is learning how to do research and find information on your own. In elementary school, the teachers provide you with most of the information you need. In university, especially for writing longer papers and doing projects, you'll need to seek out information from the library, online databases, and other sources. You have to determine what information is reliable and relevant to your topic. Developing strong research skills will allow you to learn about subjects in much greater depth.Speaking of depth, you'll also want to build up your critical thinking abilities while in university. You can't just accept everything you read or get told at face value. You have to analyze information from multiple perspectives, look at the evidence, consider different viewpoints, and form your own conclusions. Don't just believe everything you read on the internet or what anyone tells you. Ask questions, express skepticism when warranted, and think for yourself.Building on that, another skill that is vital is being able to communicate your views and ideas clearly and persuasively. This involves both writing and speaking. You'll have to write lots of essays and papers making arguments and analyzing topics in depth. You'll also need to participate in class discussions, give presentations, and be able to express yourself articulately out loud. If you can't get your point across effectively in a clear andorganized way, you'll struggle in university no matter how smart you are.I probably don't need to tell you that working篇6What Abilities Should Be Developed During UniversityHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you about some really important abilities that university students should work on developing. Even though I'm just a kid, I've learned a lot about this topic from my parents and teachers. The first ability is time management skills. At university, you don't have teachers watching over you all the time to make sure you are doing your homework and assignments. You have to be a responsible big kid and keep track of all your due dates and priorities yourself. My mom says it's kind of like playing a video game where you have to manage different resources and quests at the same time. If you procrastinate too much, you'll fall behind!Good time management means making schedules, setting reminders, and planning out when you'll work on each subject orproject. It also means figuring out how to make the best use of the little pockets of free time you have between classes. My dad says people in university have to get really good at multi-tasking to keep all the balls in the air. It's an important skill forgrown-ups too when they have jobs and families to take care of.Another super important ability is how to study effectively. Elementary school studying is pretty easy - you just have to memorize facts for tests and quizzes. But in university, you have to learn how to understand really complex concepts and ideas. My teacher says it requires active learning strategies like taking good notes, asking questions, and teaching concepts back to yourself. University isn't about just memorizing, it's about building a deep understanding. You also have to figure out what learning methods work best for you individually. Some people are visual learners and need to draw pictures and diagrams. Others are auditory learners who do better in lecture-style classes. Hands-on learners might need lab work to fully grasp subjects. It's important to experiment with different learning tactics like making flashcards, study groups, or teaching tutorials to friends. That way you can develop a customized "study smart" routine that maximizes your learning potential. The next ability I want to talk about is research skills. At university, you have to write huge research papers on complicated topic areas. This means you can't just grab information off the first few websites you find. You need to know how to find reliable, high-quality sources from academic journals, books, expert opinions, and legitimate studies. My brother says it's like being a detective - you have to analyze information for credibility and separate fact from fiction. You also need to synthesize information from different sources, make connections between ideas, and form your own unique insights and arguments. Doing university-level research helps build critical thinking abilities that will be invaluable way beyond just writing papers.Okay, these next two abilities are kind of more personal skills than academic ones, but they are just as crucial. The first is developing better communication abilities. At university, you have to share your ideas and insights constantly through giving presentations, participating in discussions, writing papers, and corresponding over email. My parents remind me that it's not just about speaking and writing clearly, but about being able to listen actively too.You have to practice communicating complex ideas in a way that builds mutual understanding with your audience. That means tailoring how you convey information based on who you are sharing it with. Communicating well also requires reading body language cues and being aware of different cultural perspectives. My dad says a big part of his job is having great communication abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients all around the world. Finally, the last ability I'll mention is personal accountability and self-motivation. Without parents and teachers forcing you to go to class and turn in assignments, you have to develop an internal drive to meet your responsibilities as a university student. It's like your own personal "accountability buddy" inside your brain! My older sister says it was a harsh wake-up call being fully in charge of her own schedule and priorities when she started university. You have to set your own goals, developself-discipline, and stay focused on working productively without as many external pressures. It's a taste of the real "grown-up" world of independence and being accountable for your own choices, successes and failures.Well, those are some of the major abilities university students should spend time cultivating. They may sound like a lot of work, but I know they'll be super valuable assets for young adults as they prepare for amazing future careers. I hope I've been able to articulate these ideas clearly from a kid's perspective! Even though I'm just in elementary school, I'm already trying my best to practice good habits around time management, studying, research, communication, andself-motivation. Then when I'm old enough for university, I'll be totally ready to develop those advanced abilities to the fullest. Thanks for reading my essay!。

Research and Practice on Blended T eaching Mode of College EnglishZheng ZhuJinhua Radio and Television UniversityAbstract: Today, under the background of information age, college English teaching also needs to adapt to the change and development of the times to achieve certain innovation. In the traditional teaching of college English, some college English teachers only complete the teaching work when having classes, but do not pay much attention to students’ learning after class, or even ignore it. What’s more, with the teaching method of lecturing, textbooks are usually the single way to adopt in the process of teaching, which can only provide students with very limit help. Therefore, the teaching mode of college English teaching needs to be innovated. Blended teaching mode can be used to teach and combine online teaching with offline teaching. Therefore, this dissertation puts forward some corresponding suggestions and opinions on the research and practice of college English blended teaching mode. Keywords: College English; Blended teaching; Research and practiceDOI: 10.47297/wspiedWSP2516-250019.202105041. IntroductionBlended teaching mode is a teaching mode that combines offline teaching and online teaching together. This teaching mode has the advantages of online and offline teaching at the same time. Through absorbing the complementary advantages of these two teaching methods, the quality of teaching can be improved and students’ interest in learning can be cultivated. The application of blended teaching mode in college English teaching also follows the pace of the information age, and is highly consistent with the needs and characteristics of college students. Therefore, college English teachers should try to adopt blended teaching mode in English teaching.About the author : Zheng Zhu (1975-12), Male, Han nationality, Origin: Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province; Scientific Research Office, Title: Senior Lecturer, Master’s Degree, Research Direction: English Education.107Journal of International Education and Development Vol.5 No.4 20212. The Role and Significance of the Application of Blended T eaching Mode in College EnglishNowadays, in students’ studies and life, mobile phones, computers and other electronic products have become commonplace, and if you adopt the blended teaching mode in the process of college English teaching, you can make full use of mobile phones, so that students can no longer just use mobile phones to play games, binge-watch TikTok and weibo and other online apps, but can use mobile phones to learn English, especially for learning and improvement of English listening. For students, English listening can be only practiced by listening to the audios played by teachers in class, but now students can use mobile phones to search for listening audios, music, and videos of all kinds on the internet to train their listening. In addition, with blended teaching, it can also prevent students from having negative learning emotions. When students are tired from offline classes, they will be taught online; when students are tired of online teaching, they will be taught offline. So English teaching blended with online teaching and offline teaching will improve the quality and efficiency of English teaching. The advantage of traditional offline teaching lies in the fact that knowledge can be taught by teachers personally, and in-depth analysis and research on knowledge content can be conducted, which will increase the depth of teaching. But the shortcomings of traditional offline teaching are also obvious, that is, in lecture-based teaching, students are easier to be fatigued, thereby interest and enthusiasm for English learning will be reduced. While, the advantage of online teaching is that it allows students to learn English anytime and anywhere, and it can also teach according to the different needs and interests of different students, and teach in ways that students are more interested in, such as videos and music that students are more interested in. And online teaching can also search for more resources on the internet to enhance the breadth of English teaching and broaden students’ horizons[2]. And this blended teaching method includes both the advantages of online teaching and offline teaching, so as to absorb the complementary advantages of the two teaching methods and improve the teaching quality.3. Specific Practical Measures for Using Blended T eaching Mode in College English(1) Updating Teaching ConceptsIn order to effectively carry out blended teaching in college English teaching, English teachers should firstly abandon traditional and outdated teaching concepts, updating their teaching concepts. The second is to ask English teachers to implement the group teaching method in a planned and purposeful way in the process of English teaching, and to teach students in accordance with their108Research and Practice on Blended Teaching Mode of College English aptitude. In addition, students learning English is not just to complete the teaching requirements of English classes. English teachers should help students develop an interest in English learning during the teaching process. When learning English, students can be allowed to watch English movies and English books, and have barrier-free communication with foreigners. For example, before officially starting English teaching, English teachers can provide students with a special explanation of the benefits of learning English, and can also play English videos or music to attract students and stimulate students’ interest in English. Then, according to the feedback of different students, the corresponding group teaching method should be formulated. For students who are interested in English, English teachers should continue to maintain the enthusiasm of these students; for students who have a lower interest in English, English teachers should adopt some corresponding measures to improve the enthusiasm and initiative of these students.(2) Respecting Students’ Differences and Stimulating Students’ InterestEvery student has different interest, understanding and mastery of English. English teachers should know the different English proficiency of different students so that they can arrange different learning goals and learning requirements for different students. When having blended English teaching, English teacher should also respect the differences of students, and carry out different blended English teaching to different students. What’s more, teachers can’t give preference to a student just because of a student’s good English performance, let alone ignore a student because of a poor performance, or even say something mean to him. What English teachers should do it to equally treat every students with care and love, and encourage students to study English harder, earnestly guide students to learn English with patience. For English teachers, they should strengthen communication, understanding and mutual trust with students, teaching based on the actual learning level of the students, so that every student can be interested in English [3].For example: When teaching “Lots of Luck” in College English Reading Course 2, some students have strong English comprehension ability, and they can master the content of the text proficiently after teaching for only once. However, some students have relatively weak comprehension ability. After the teacher explained the article, they still did not understand the content better. At this time, English teachers can adopt a blended teaching method, combining online and offline teaching to guide students who have understood this article to conduct in-depth reading and analysis; for students who do not fully understand this article, instead of scolding or discouraging students, the English teacher should teach them carefully and patiently until they can understand the article well. In this way, with109Journal of International Education and Development Vol.5 No.4 2021the blended teaching method in the process of English teaching, students with higher English proficiency can learn in-depth in offline teaching after class, while students with weak English proficiency can also be effectively improved.(3) Constructing an Organically Integrated “Online”—“Offline”Teaching SystemThe blended teaching mode is to combine online teaching and offline teaching, complementing the advantages of the two, so as to improve the teaching efficiency and teaching quality of college English. Therefore, in order to make full use of the blended teaching model in the college English teaching, it is necessary for college English teachers to construct an organically integrated “online”—“offline” teaching system, and to take care of both at the same time without ignoring either of them. It can’t just focus on online teaching and ignore the offline teaching; also, it can’t focus on offline teaching and ignore the online teaching. College English teachers should formulate a suitable blended teaching plan according to the specific conditions and needs of the students, integrating the two organically, and giving full play to the advantages of the two.For example: In the teaching process of College English Audiovisual Course 2, teachers adopt blended teaching. In the course of offline teaching, listening audio is played for students, allowing students to practice listening, completing the topics in the textbook, and using multimedia in class to play some related videos to the students. While in the process of online teaching, teaching videos of outstanding teachers from other universities can be sent to students to learn, and they some listening materials can be also provided to students. so that students can have sufficient resources for listening training after class. In this way, the English teacher organically integrates “online”—“offline” together to complete audiovisual teaching and improve students’ listening skills.4. ConclusionIn summary, in order to comply with the development of the current information age and improve the efficiency of college English teaching, college English teachers can adopt blended teaching methods. Combining offline teaching and online teaching through a blended teaching method, and making advantage of the rich English teaching resources on the internet, it not only allows students to learn effectively in class, but also can figure out the knowledge content that don’t understand in class so that students’ learning depth and breadth can be improved, and students’ interest and enthusiasm in English learning can be stimulated.110Research and Practice on Blended Teaching Mode of College EnglishReferences[1] Chen Juanwen, Wang Na, Li Jinyu. “Exploration of Practice Community Based onBlended Teaching Mode of College English” [ J ]. Juan DUSchool of Foreign Languages, Inner Mongolia University for NationalitiesAbstract: By analyzing the disadvantages of the traditional model of professional development of English teachers in colleges and universities, this paper puts for-ward the reflective model based on the theory of reflection including the reflective education model and teaching model of college English teachers; it aims to mobi-lize the enthusiasm of college English teachers’ self-reflection in the course of pro-fessional development, to encourage teachers to actively reflect on their own learning practices and teaching practices, and to achieve better and faster develop-ment of professional comprehensive quality.Key words:college English teacher; professional development; reflective educa-tion; teaching practices1.IntroductionAt present, the training mode of English teachers in colleges and universities in China mainly includes two types of modes: pre-vocational training mode and post-vocational education and training mode. The pre-service training of teachers is mainly undertaken by various types of teacher training colleges, and the adopted models almost all belong to the traditional “applied science” model. The teacher’s continuing education and training also adopts the “applied science type”trainingAbout the author: Juan DU (1973-4), Female, Mongol, Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, Associ-ate Professor, Master, Research on English Teaching and Education in Colleges and Universities. Funded project: This work was supported by the program of 2018 Inner Mongolia Uni-versity Scientific Research Project (No.NJSY18174).132Journal of International Education And Development Vol.3 No.2 2019model widely. The disadvantage of the “applied science” training model is that the authority holder does not need to advance because he enjoys authority, and the au-thority actor can not advance because of authority. The disadvantage of the traditional “applied science” training model is that it is difficult to motivate teachers to seek self-enterprise and self-reflection. Con-structing the professional model of college English teachers based on reflective theory can effectively solve these inherent disadvantages. Wallace (1991) proposed a reflective model for specialization education and development of teachers in his book Training Foreign Language Teachers: a Reflective Approach. In his opinion, received knowledge and experimental knowledge are the core and theoretical basis for teaching practice and reflection, and are also the driving force for teachers’self-development. The reflective cycle is a practice process that constantly reflects on received knowledge and experimental knowledge. Through this cycle, ideal professional competence is formed. This fully shows that the process of teaching practice and self-reflection is a necessary link to realize the professional develop-ment of teachers.2. Defects of traditional model of professional development of college English teachersThe defect of the traditional model of the professional development is mani-fested in different forms in the field of teacher education and teacher teaching. It is shown first in the field of teacher education. It puts too much emphasis on the the-oretical authority of experts. Experts set up training forms and content for teachers and less consider the needs and wishes of teachers (Jia, 2005). Training methods and strategies are carried out in full accordance with the intent of the experts, with less regard to the feelings of the teachers. The evaluation of the training effect is also carried out in accordance with the method of expert approval and ignores the actual acquisition of teachers. As a result, the theoretical teaching of experts ex-ceeds the learning practice of teachers, and the space for teachers to exert them-selves in learning practice activities is very limited. It is very difficult for teachers to question, let alone summarize or perfect the theory from practice, causing the theory to take precedence over practice, and the contradiction between theory and practice is difficult to reconcile. In this mode of teacher education, the learner is under the authority of experts; his learning practice is more passive acceptance than active need. In addition, reflection is an active cognitive activity, but the traditional “applied science”teacher education model ignores teachers’initiative and limits teachers’conscious reflection to a certain extent. It influences teachers’compre-133hensive grasp and deep understanding of training theory.Second, the shortcomings of the traditional model of professional development of English teachers in colleges and universities are reflected in the teaching field of teachers, which is to pay too much attention to the teaching authority status of teachers. Current English textbooks provides necessary materials and technical support for teachers to teach, and lays a certain foundation for cultivating learners’ self-learning habits. However, for many years, teachers have set up teaching forms and teaching contents for students, and less consider the needs of students; Teachers choose teach-ing methods and strategies according to their own intentions, and take less account of students’ feelings; The evaluation of teaching effect is also carried out in accordance with the method of teachers’ approval and ignores the actual acquisition of students. As teachers are in an absolute position of authority, teaching practice activities are more rigidly bound by long-term teaching experience and rarely voluntarily return to reason. Therefore, teachers in the field of teacher education can not advance because of authority obstacles. When teaching, teachers as authorities who enjoy authority. In or-der to solve the defects of the current mode of English teacher training in colleges and universities, it is necessary to reform the current mode.3.Establishing reflection mechanism is the only way to pro-mote college English teachers from traditional professional development to reflective professional development Professor Zhong Qiquan (2001) had introduced the Outline of Teacher Specializa-tion Standards advocated by the National Teacher Professional Standards Committee ten years ago, which mentioned teachers’ need to understand subject content and teaching methods, use professional knowledge to pass the subject content to students, form multi-ple pathways to knowledge, systematically reflect on their own practice and learn knowledge from their own experience -- to verify their own judgments and make diffi-cult choices, seek advice from others to improve their own practices and to participate in educational research and enrich knowledge. With the continuous advancement of Eng-lish teaching reform, the professional development of English teachers is urgent. The concrete manifestation is to continuously strengthen the professional autonomy of uni-versity English teachers and improve the professional research ability of teachers. Its de-velopment goal is no longer limited to teachers only to be an ordinary educator, but to become a researcher of educational and teaching activities and achieve new transfor-mation of professional roles. It requires teachers, first, be a facilitator of student development. Traditional teaching tends to be centered on the teaching of teachers rather than on the study of 134Journal of International Education And Development Vol.3 No.2 2019students. Teachers should fully realize the importance of reflection to their own growth and student development, and focus on allowing students to learn, promoting their own growth and the all-round development of students. It secondly needs teachers be a re-searcher of teaching practice. The reflective college English teacher should not be the faithful executor of the given educational goal and teaching content, but the critic and monitor of the teaching experience. Reflection helps teachers to form “theories in prac-tice”, that is, to combine expert theory with their own knowledge and experience, to improve the knowledge system, and to use the education theory they have mastered to discover, study, and solve various educational problems in practice and at the same time realize the unification of educational research and teaching practice (Fu, 2009). Thirdly, be a introspector of lifelong learning. In modern society, the trend of lifelong learning has become very obvious, and teachers 'learning teaching also runs through the entire career of teachers. The development of social progress and educational sci-ence requires that college English teachers must update their knowledge, skills, and abilities in their own subjects in a timely manner, adjust their teaching behaviors to adapt to changing environments and growing students, and be reflective of lifelong learning (Dai, 2009, p.25).4. Construct the reflection model of college English teachers professional developmentOne of the modes of teacher training development summarized by Wallace is the reflection model. According to Wallace, the reflective mode of professional development of teachers is further refined into the following two modes:(1) Reflective education modelIn “teacher education activities”, he plays the role of a student. As a learner, teach-ers need to build their own meaning on the basis of existing knowledge and experience (Wallace, p.108). In essence, teachers need to reflect on their own learning experience to better understand the learning and practice of professional knowledge, and construct a reflective model of college English teacher education. Its theoretical basis is to be able to correctly view the dialectical relationship between the teacher’s learning content and learning experience, and to correctly understand the difference between the teacher’s “understood theory” and “learned theory”.“The teaching theory used” is not entirely “the education theory advocated”. As a teacher, he need to independently build a more reasonable teaching method based on existing educational strategies and teaching experience. In essence, it is a teaching prac-tice process in which teachers reflect on their own teaching experience and achieve135teaching goals more rationally, and establish a reflective teaching model for college Eng-lish teachers (Wallace, p.217).(2) Reflective teaching modelThe purpose of the professional development of foreign language teachers is to allow teachers to become researchers. In the “teacher teaching activities”, teachers play the role of educators. In teaching activities, the actual “teaching theory used by teachers” is not en-tirely “the education theory advocated”. As teachers, they need to build more reasonable teaching methods independently on the basis of existing educational strategies and teach-ing experience. It is essentially a teaching practice process in which teachers reflect on their own teaching experience and achieve teaching goals more rationally, and establish a re-flective teaching model for college English teachers. The motivation of English teachers’professional development comes from the awakening of teachers’ self-classroom teaching consciousness, especially the teaching reflection consciousness based on individual teach-ing experience. The reflective teaching model of college English teachers is to actively study and reflect on the “adopted theory” in teacher education, deepen understanding, and realize the continuous transformation of “adopted theory”to “advocated theory”. The teacher’s teaching reflection not only promotes the teacher’s mastery of the “advocated theory”, but also promotes the spiral enhancement of the teacher’s teaching experience and further accelerates the transformation process. On the basis of emphasizing “education”, we attach importance to the self-development of teachers’ initiative, that is, teachers par-ticipate in the development of teaching theory, understand the nature of teachers’ deci-sion-making, form critical self-awareness and self-evaluation, and teachers themselves ac-tively reflect on their own teaching, observe classroom behavior and evaluate teaching ef-fect to promote their own teaching development.(3) Intrinsic relationship between reflection education model and reflection teaching modelThere is a close intrinsic relationship between reflective teacher education model and reflective teacher teaching model. The above two types of models cover the entire space of professional activities of college English teachers and embody the inevitable internal connection between them. Reflection behavior in professional development in-cludes study reflection and teaching reflection. Learning reflection is to promote the transformation of “understood theory” to “learned theory”, and teaching reflection is to promote the transformation of “adopted theory” to “advocated theory”. The direct role of these two types of reflection is to promote the continuous improvement of teachers’ pro-fessional quality, and the final role is to promote teachers’ practical activities. Practice in professional development includes learning practice and teaching practice. The essence of “the theory learned”by teachers in learning practice is “the theory advocated”in 136Journal of International Education And Development Vol.3 No.2 2019teaching practice. Described as Schon DA (1983)’s so-called “theory in practice”, the ex-pert’s theoretical research is integrated with his own practice, and the individual’s knowledge system is constantly changed on the basis of practice summary. This “theory of practice” can be formed through the process of “reflection in practice”.5. ConclusionFor the purpose of being a good teacher, teachers constantly and consciously verify their own teaching ideas by observing their own and their peers’classroom language teaching behaviors, and improve their own teaching concepts by reflecting on their own teaching. In this way, the professional development of English teachers can be realized. To promote the professional development of English teachers based on reflective theory is to remove the disadvantages of the traditional model of college English teachers’ professional development and build a reflective model of college English teachers’ professional devel-opment. We should give full play to the positive role of reflective theory in the professional development of college English teachers, arouse the enthusiasm of English teachers to self-reflect in professional development, and motivate teachers to actively reflect on their own learning practices and teaching practices. Teacher development is a dynamic process, which needs both external support and teachers’ own efforts. Teachers themselves should tap their own potential, according to their own actual situation and needs combined with reflection on the practice, and strive to cultivate the ability of lifelong learning and research, so that the reflection of teaching practice becomes the starting point to embark on the path of scientific research, and turn to their own quality and professional ability.Works Cited[1] Zhong, Q.Q. Through the informationtechnology resource sharing platform, it integrates various types, teaching contents and teaching resources, establishes a more effectiveresource management system, facilitates teachers and students toconduct classification and retrieval, and thus helps universities developthe construction of university teaching resource library with their ownprofessional characteristics. This paper conducts relevant research basedon the construction of teaching resource library in college libraries, hoping to provide relevant suggestions for the development andconstruction of college libraries and promote the better development ofcollege teaching resource library.KEYWORDSUniversity; Library; Teaching Resource Library1 IntroductionWith the continuous construction and development of digital resources in colleges and universities, college libraries gradually provide more convenient services for teaching and learning in colleges and universities, use their own characteristic resources to effectively combine with professional disciplines in colleges and universities, continuously strengthen the construction of various information resource libraries, carry out targeted and personalized services, and meet the information needs of teachers and students in high colleges and universities. In the process of development and construction, many universities provide more specialized literature and data materials for key disciplines and specialties through self-built databases. In response to the information user needs of teachers and students, they provide the most cutting-edge and latest information data in a certain specialty or discipline field, and effectively integrate the data resources according to relevant standards, which greatly improves the retrieval and sharing ability of teaching resources.2 The Value of Teaching Resource Library in UniversitiesWith the continuous development of efficient digital construction, university libraries provide portable help for teachers and students to obtain information resources, but the teaching resource library of related professions is relatively lacking, which still restricts the development of school teaching activities. In the process of development and construction, libraries have accumulated a large number of various information resources with practical value, and effective integration ofLixin Wang 86these information resources can continuously optimize the teaching environment. Making full use of various advantages of university libraries, such as equipment, information, resources and talents, to build a more specialized teaching resource library can give better play to the intelligent service system of university libraries. College teaching resource library refers to the establishment of excellent digital media resource library in accordance with unified standards and technical specifications and following the inner logic of efficient curriculum. All kinds of presentations, lesson plans, exercises, test questions and other materials used by teachers in the daily teaching process can be displayed in the form of documents, and such teaching resources are a valuable asset for colleges and universities. However, in the long-term development and construction, universities lack effective management of such teaching resources or adopt looser management mode, so that teaching resources are only used or managed by teachers personally, which cannot effectively improve the quality of teaching resources and realize the effective sharing of information resources, which is a waste of teaching resources of university teachers. As the collection manager of university materials, the library only provides simple library information lending service, which cannot meet the diversified needs of teachers and students in teaching and learning. By collecting and organizing the teaching resources of university teachers and establishing a scientific and effective teaching resource library, it can ensure the effective improvement of our teaching resources, diversified sharing and extended development, give full play to the resource advantages of university special disciplines, greatly enhance the core competitiveness of university libraries, and also provide better help for the development and construction of university libraries and intelligent services of schools.3 The Development Status of Teaching Resource Library Construction in Colleges and UniversitiesMany colleges and universities have gradually realized the importance of establishing teaching resource libraries in today's continuous development of intelligent services, but there are still many problems in the actual development and construction. When the teaching resource library of undifferentiated colleges and universities is constructed, it lacks certain education. The core of relevant teaching resources is to be able to help teachers and students to provide better teaching services, and the purpose of establishing teaching resource library is also to provide portable help for teachers and students in colleges and universities. Therefore, in the process of building an efficient teaching resource library, the principle of educationality should always be followed so that teaching resources can be used rationally and better reflect the value of the educational subject. Due to the lack of scientific and reasonable planning and design at the early stage of construction, the development of relevant teaching resources is not deep enough, making the form of teaching resources too single, and the construction management of relevant resources is loose, lacking effective resource audit mechanism, which also causes the phenomenon of lack of teaching resources to occur. Due to the lack of effective management, no unified management specification and construction standard are set when teaching resource library construction is carried out, and the definition of relevant professional resource library is not clear enough. Therefore, when auditing the teaching content, the relevant content, technology and standards of teaching resources do not reach the unified specification, which leads to the teaching resource library not being able to provide better services when carrying out the use. The construction of some teaching resource libraries is not sound enough in terms of system and the lack of investment in related funds makes the research and development team of resource libraries lack professional talents and intermediate technical strength. This is due to the lack of effective propaganda and promotion in the scope ofJournal of International Education and Development87colleges and universities, the lack of sufficient awareness of teachers and students about the construction of the resource base, the lack of participation and attention, resulting in the quality of the teaching resource base has been affected to a certain extent.4 Promoting the Construction of Teaching Resources Library in Colleges and UniversitiesThe construction of a teaching resource base in higher education is a more complex project, therefore, when building the resource base, it is necessary to carry out scientific and systematic planning and gradually carry out in-depth construction. The number of specialties involved in the scope of higher education is large and complex, so how can specialized knowledge points be effectively integrated in the database to facilitate the use of teachers. In the process of developing the resource base, it is necessary to make use of the characteristics of integration and interactivity of information data, take the syllabus and the direction of professional development as the basis, make effective classification and search according to various knowledge points, and establish resource bases of different categories according to certain specifications for different levels and teaching needs of different teachers and students.(1) Getting enough supportSince the teaching resource library involves several disciplines and various teaching resources of teachers and students when carrying out construction, it is necessary to seek more support from schools when carrying out the construction of the resource library and collect and organize data resources through top-down organized planning. We need to develop a practical implementation plan, obtain the support of schools, and clarify the importance of related work, and carry out effective division of labor to ensure the smooth development of the repository construction work.(2) Standardizing the format and collection method of teaching resource dataWhen the construction of teaching resource database is carried out, the corresponding data resources need to be effectively organized, so the format and collection method of data resources have an important impact on the final quality of the database. In the process of conducting the collection of teaching resources, uniform standards must be set and collected and organized according to an effective format for easy preservation. The collection of relevant digital resources should also be organized in a certain disciplinary order, from simple to complicated, and in a gradual manner. For the classroom lectures and courseware test questions used by teachers, they can be organized in a certain format, and the relevant classroom videos and videos, etc., can be classified through specialized disciplines or more detailed entries, and imported into the database in batches.(3) Teaching resource management softwareAfter the corresponding teaching resources are collected and organized, they can be managed by professional software to ensure the normal use of services such as uploading, downloading and sharing of data resources. The teaching resource management software should be able to meet the needs of teachers and students for data organization, collection and format conversion, and match with the characteristics of our teaching resource library. This kind of software can be developed by universities or entrusted to professional data development companies to set up, and after sufficient testing and acceptance, ensure that the software can operate normally and provide support forLixin Wang 88follow-up services.(4) Ensuring effective operation and maintenance teamAfter the construction of the teaching resource library is completed, a certain operation and maintenance team is needed to carry out operation and maintenance of the resource library, to carry out daily inspection of the server, and to backup, restore and troubleshoot the data in daily management. It helps students and faculty to collect and organize more data resources, format conversion, and solve various problems in the use. The relevant operation and maintenance team can carry out certain training work for teachers and students to help them better master the operation of data uploading and management, and carry out teaching for the use of database to help teachers and students better master the use of teaching resource library.5 ConclusionIn the construction of professional teaching resource library, college libraries need to pay attention to the standardized construction which is the basis for the sustainable development of college teaching resource library and the realization of effective sharing of information resources. In the process of construction, it is necessary to pay attention to the issue of intellectual property rights and meet the needs of teachers and students for various services, so it is necessary to have a powerful search function. In the construction process, it can make full use of library resources to effectively combine with the specialties of colleges and universities, and effectively integrate the scattered and disorderly teaching resources, so as to effectively provide powerful support for the improvement of teaching quality of colleges and universities.References[1] Xing Chunmei. 大学生在大学期间应该学习的技能英语作文

大学生在大学期间应该学习的技能英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Skills University Students Should Learn in CollegeHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you about the important skills that university students need to learn while they are in college. College is a really big step up from high school, so students have to work hard to get new skills that will help them succeed. Here are some of the key skills they should focus on:Time ManagementWhen you're in college, you don't have teachers watching over you all the time to make sure you're doing your homework and assignments. No one is going to nag you about getting stuff done except for yourself! That's why time management is such an essential skill.Good time management means setting a schedule and sticking to it. Students need to plan out when they will go to classes, study for tests, work on projects and papers, and still have some free time leftover. It's a juggling act! If they don'tlearn how to manage their time wisely, they could end up falling behind and failing their courses. Some tips for better time management are using a planner or calendar to map out your days and weeks, making to-do lists to check off tasks as you complete them, and setting time limits for activities so you don't waste too much time on any one thing. It takes practice, but mastering time management will make college a whole lot easier.Study SkillsSpeaking of studying, that's another crucial skill for university students to develop. The way you studied for tests in high school probably won't cut it anymore in college. The workload is much heavier, the material is more difficult, and you're expected to learn things at a deeper level.First, students need to learn effective note-taking skills during lectures so they can refer back to important concepts later. They should also master reading strategies like identifying key points in textbook chapters instead of just reading every single word. When it comes to reviewing for exams, techniques like making flashcards, rewriting notes, watching supplementalvideos, and forming study groups with classmates are extremely helpful. It's all about finding the strategies that work best for your own personal learning style.Research and WritingAlmost every course in college will involve doing lots of research and writing long papers called "term papers" or "research papers." This is way more complicated than just looking something up online and writing a short book report like back in grade school. For research, students have to learn how to find and evaluate reliable, authoritative sources like scholarly journal articles and books from the library. They can't just use random websites or Wikipedia. Taking notes while researching and properly citing sources is an art form too.As for writing, university students need to get really good at structuring and organizing longer essays and papers. Learning about things like thesis statements, outlines, paragraph structure, transitions between ideas, counter-arguments, and making compelling conclusions is vital. Proper grammar, spelling, and referencing styles are musts as well.It takes a lot of practice, but mastering high-level research and writing abilities will serve students well in college and also prepare them for many future careers.Problem-Solving and Critical ThinkingA university education isn't just about absorbing information from professors. Students also have to become problem-solvers who can think critically to analyze complex issues, generate creative solutions, and back up their ideas with logic and evidence. For example, in science classes, students learn the scientific method of forming hypotheses, designing experiments to test them, and drawing conclusions from the data. Math classes teach analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Philosophy courses encourage questioning assumptions and evaluating arguments from multiple perspectives.Overall, the ability to tackle problems systematically, think outside the box, and develop well-reasoned positions on issues will be expected of students no matter what their major is. These vital critical thinking muscles only get stronger through constantly exercising them.Communication and CollaborationLast but not least, university students need to build strong communication and collaboration talents. These days, very few jobs involve just working alone. Instead, nearly every career path requires clearly communicating with others and being able to effectively collaborate on team-based projects.During their studies, students have many opportunities to polish their communication skills through activities like giving presentations, participating in class discussions, communicating with professors and classmates, and working on group assignments. Learning how to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and bring out the best in others are key aspects too.The best students understand that communication is atwo-way street. It's not just about talking, but about being an engaged listener and taking other perspectives into account. With practice, they can learn to tailor their communication styles for different contexts and audiences. So there you have it – the top skills like time management, studying, research and writing, problem-solving, and communication that university students really need to focus on while getting their college degrees. It's a lot to take on, but taking the time to develop these talents will pay huge dividends in the long run. Both during their university careers andafterwards when they dive into their future professions. Just remember to always keep working hard and doing your best!篇2Skills University Students Should LearnUniversity is a super duper important time for young people! When you go to university, you get to learn all sorts of cool new things that will help you later in life. But it's not just about the classes and studying. University is also a great place to pick up some awesome skills that will make you really successful when you graduate. One of the most important skills to learn is how to manage your time wisely. At university, you have a lot of freedom to choose what you want to do and when you want to do it. That's fun, but it also means you have to be really good at not wasting time on stuff that isn't important. You need to schedule your days carefully so you get all your work done but still have time for fun activities too. Maybe set a special "homework time" every day and a "just for fun" time too. That way you'll never fall behind but you won't miss out on anything exciting either!Another skill that is mega useful is learning how to cook properly. In university you are living on your own for the firsttime, with no parents around to make you meals. That's why it's crucial to learn some basic cooking skills so you can make yourself healthy, yummy food. Don't just live off frozen pizzas and ramen noodles! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you about all the cool skills university students should learn while they are at university. University is a very exciting time when you get to learn lots of new things to help you in your future job and life. I can't wait until I get to go to university someday! The first really important skill for university students is time management. At university, you don't have teachers reminding you when assignments are due or telling you to get started on your homework. You have to learn how to manage your own time wisely so you get all your work done on time. My older sister is at university now and she uses a special calendar app tokeep track of all her assignment due dates and exams. She says time management is super important because there is a lot of work to do at university.Another key skill is research and finding good information. When you are a university student, you have to write lots of big papers and essays by finding reliable sources and putting together the information in a smart way. My sister has to go to the library a lot to find books and articles for her assignments. She also uses special websites to find academic journal articles. Finding trustworthy sources and not just using the first few websites that show up on Google is really important for university research.University students also need stellar note-taking abilities. In lectures, professors give you tons of information very quickly. You have to learn awesome note-taking strategies to write down the key points and concepts clearly. My sister says good notes make studying for exams way easier. Some students even use neat tablet computers to take notes digitally. I want to get really good handwriting though so my notes look nice and neat on paper.Presentation skills are super vital too. At university, you usually have to give PowerPoint presentations in front of yourwhole class for some assignments. Speaking confidently in front of a group is a very useful skill to have. My sister gets really nervous before presentations, but she says practicing a lot makes it easier. She records herself giving practice presentations to get better at it.Let's not forget about writing abilities as well! University students need to be able to write long, well-structured essays, reports, and papers. Proper grammar, clear explanations, and logical organization aremusts. My mom is an English teacher and she is already starting to teach me advanced writing strategies. She says starting writing practice early will give me an edge when I get to university. Those are some of the most important skills I think university students need to work on. Of course, they also need to study hard in their academic classes and learn all the key knowledge for their future careers. But these broader skills like time management, research, note-taking, presenting, and writing will help them a ton too. It sounds like a lot of work, but I'm sure it will all be worth it to get a university degree in the end!I hope this essay gave you some good insights into what university life will be like. Being a university student seems like such an exciting experience with so many opportunities to learnand grow. I truly can't wait until it's my turn! I'm going to practice all these skills now so I'm fully prepared. Thanks for reading, goodbye!篇5What Skills Do Big Kids Need at University?Hi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you about some really important skills that big kids (university students) should learn when they go to university. University is like a really big school for older teenagers and grown-ups where they study hard subjects to prepare for their future careers. It's super important for university students to learn lots of useful skills besides just their school subjects! One of the most important skills is time management. At university, you don't have teachers reminding you when assignments are due or nagging you to study. The big kids have to be responsible for managing their own time, making schedules, and ensuring they get all their work done without a parent or teacher keeping them on track. Good time management means prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines, and not procrastinating.Another key skill is independent learning. In university classes, professors give assignments and reading to do on your own. The big kids have to learn how to study effectively all by themselves, without someone instructing them on exactly what to do. They have to take good notes in class, read and understand difficult textbooks, and figure out ways to memorize lots of new information. It's super important to know good study strategies!Public speaking is another useful skill for university students. They often have to give presentations in front of the class for certain assignments. Speaking clearly and confidently is important when sharing your ideas with others. The big kids also have to know how to stay calm instead of getting really nervous in front of a crowd.University kids need excellent writing abilities as well. They have to write many long essays, research papers and reports during their degree. Being able to organize ideas logically, support arguments with evidence, reference sources correctly and demonstrate good grammar/spelling are all part of effective writing. Crafting a solid essay is challenging!Research skills are vital too. For lots of assignments, university students must gather information and synthesizeknowledge from various trustworthy sources like academic journals and books. They can't simply depend on Googling everything. Finding relevant quality sources, evaluating their credibility, taking organized notes, and proper citation format are crucial for good research. Most degree programs also require the big kids to learn at least a little bit about statistics and data analysis. Even if they aren't in a math-heavy field, they still need basic numeracy to understand charts, figures, percentages and other quantitative information that is part of their curricula.Having good teamwork abilities is invaluable as well. Many university courses involve group projects where students have to collaborate effectively with others on a shared task, dividing up responsibilities and coordinating their work. Resolving conflicts constructively, communicating clearly, and pulling your weight as a team member are key teamwork competencies. Finally, big kids in university absolutely must develop advanced critical thinking abilities. This means learning to analyze information objectively, question assumptions, consider multiple perspectives, evaluate evidence, synthesize knowledge, and form well-reasoned conclusions. A huge part of highereducation involves complex problem-solving that requires excellent critical thinking skills.Whew, that's a lot of important skills that big university students need to work on! It's so much more than just learning stuff from textbooks. By strengthening time management, independent learning, public speaking, writing, research, data analysis, teamwork and critical thinking skills during their degree, university kids will be super prepared for all sorts of careers and challenges after graduation. It takes hard work, but scoring skills like those will help them become very capable and successful grown-ups.。

The education of innovation and entrepreneurship in our country started very late. It has gone thro-ugh 20 years from studying the significance of the education of innovation and en-trepreneurship to the integrating of innovation and entrepreneurship. After Premier About the author: Jianchuan WU, Male, January, 1988, Han, Dazhou City, Sichuan Prov-ince Experimenter, Master, Research on Teaching and Educational Administration in Colleg-es and Universities.Creativity and Innovation Vol.3 No.1 2019Li Keqiang refer ‘double creation’ to the height of national development strategy in March 2015, the education of innovation and entrepreneurship in our country en-tered the ‘Internet plus’ age. The significance of education of innovation and entrepreneurrshipThe education of innovation and entrepreneurship contribute much to the de-velopment of country. The innovation and entrepreneurship education in the United States guides entrepreneurship and becomes an important part of employment set-tlement in the United States. Other developed countries are also relying on innova-tive entrepreneurship education to solve the problem of social employment. After entering the “Internet plus” period, innovation and entrepreneurship education is a way to deepen the comprehensive reform of higher education and stimulating the creativity of college students. It can not only upgrade the quality and efficiency of service economy, but also promote the quality of entrepreneurship and employment of college students. Therefore, both the Party and our country attach great im-portance to it.General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation must firmly follow the path of in-dependent innovation with Chinese characteristics at the National Conference on Science and Technology Innovation in May 2016. He also puts forward the im-portance of the quality education, future career development and grasping the op-portunity of global scientific and technological competition. Premier Li Keqiang also put forward in his important instructions on education in 2016 that modern vocational education should be vigorously developed, to cultivate more practical and high-skilled talents, innovative talents and top-notch talents, and play a key supporting role in building a well-off society. Characteristics of College Students Majoring in Engi-neeringEngineering specialty refers to a special specialty specializing in engineering education developed on the basis of applied mathematics, physics, chemistry and other basic sciences. It combined with the technical experience accumulated in the production practice and practice, in order to meet the needs of production and other industries. At present, engineering majors in universities in China are still deeply influenced by traditional education. It measures everything with course scores. More graduates are trained to adapt to employment. Therefore, engineering majors generally show that they attach importance to the study of theoretical knowledge and despise innovation and entrepreneurship. Most students have intellectual strengths, strong logical ability and active thinking. However, there are obvious deficiencies in language expression, social management and public relations plan-ning.3. Current problems in innovation and entrepreneurship education of engineering majors in universitiesDue to the late start of innovation and entrepreneurship education in China, there is no complete model for innovation and entrepreneurship education of engi-neering major in universities. Universities mostly adopt some existing models abroad to copy mechanically and rigidly. However, the existing abroad models cannot fully adapt to Chinese higher education and target of talents cultivation of Chinese universities. On the other hand, there is no rich curriculum system to sup-port the target of school in the process of entrepreneurship education. What is more, when universities carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education, whether in quantity or quality, most colleges and universities do not have enough teachers. The existing teachers’ qualifications cannot meet the needs of education. First of all, the decision makers do not know where the innovation and entrepreneurship education path of engineering universities lies. Secondly, even if innovation and entrepre-neurship education is carried out in accordance with national policies, teachers inCreativity and Innovation Vol.3 No.1 2019universities cannot meet the teaching requirements. Thirdly, universities have not created an atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship education. On engineer-ing majors in universities, the problem of innovation and entrepreneurship educa-tion is more obvious. Teachers or policymakers set development goals mostly in-fluenced by one-sidedness of understanding, which results in setting goals for quick success and instant benefit. They pursue the current paper project data, but ignore the essence of innovation and entrepreneurship education in engineering majors. Innovation and entrepreneurship education is not only for cultivating college entre-preneurs, but also for ideological education, entrepreneurship awareness education and quality of innovation and entrepreneurship.4. Research on innovation and entrepreneurship education and talents cultivation methodThe importance of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities is analyzed. Where the problems of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities come from is known. But more importantly, it is neces-sary to explore innovative entrepreneurship education methods, which is suitable for engineering majors in universities. Starting from the talents cultivation target of engineering major in universities, engineering majors in universities is to cultivate innovative talents of engineering technology application for the society. The estab-lishment of any educational model, neglecting this goal, is not perfect enough, or even seriously missing.(1)Define the connotation of innovation and entrepreneurship educationThere are differences between innovative education and entrepreneurship ed-ucation. Innovative education is the content of quality education and its basic value orientation is to cultivate people’s innovative consciousness, spirit and ability. En-trepreneurship education is a process education, a process of value generation, in-crease, realization and renewal. Innovation and entrepreneurship education are dif-ferent but also related. We cannot ignore innovation to talk about entrepreneurship. They are inseparable. Innovation and entrepreneurship education refers to the cul-tivation of ideological qualities and humanistic qualities related to innovation and entrepreneurship, such as will and perseverance, research spirit, pioneering spirit, dedication, career spirit, self-confidence and psychological endurance. Innovation and entrepreneurship education in engineering majors in universities pays more at-tention to engineering education and practical education. It pays more attention to the cultivation of college students’ entrepreneurship ability and entrepreneurship skills, especially how to make use of engineering students’ professional and tech-Research on Education Method of Invation and Entrepreneurship for Egineering Major ofUniversity in the ‘Internet Plus’agenical expertise to carry out scientific and technological entrepreneurship.(2)Searching for reasonable teachersMost of the teachers who are engaged in innovation and entrepreneurship in engineering majors in universities are teachers in school. But what these teachers have in common is that most of them have no entrepreneurial experience. There are too many examples of teaching after attending one or two training courses. These teachers can summarize the rules of innovation and entrepreneurship. But it is one-sided to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education, which cannot be landed, or even not recognized by students. Universities can use their alumni re-sources to invite excellent alumni back for lectures or invite them back for lectures. They can use their own experience to present themselves. In this way, students will naturally connect with themselves when they receive knowledge and see successful models similar to themselves. They will also consider entrepreneurship more when making decisions about entrepreneurship and employment in the future. In addition, when recruiting alumni, universities can also obtain alumni’s resources to find suitable practice bases for students, so that students can make rational use of their knowledge in practice, understand their knowledge shortcomings, and lay a solid foundation for better employment and entrepreneurship in the future.(3)Adjusting the teaching content of innovation and entrepreneurshipInnovation and entrepreneurship education curriculum cannot be regarded as a general basic curriculum, at least inappropriate, not to mention as an optional course. Innovation and entrepreneurship education should set up different types of courses for different majors. Different majors have different characteristics. Even if they are all engineering majors, their cultivation targets and teaching contents are quite different. The demand for different professionals varies widely in society. In order to do a good job in innovation and entrepreneurship education of engineering majors in universities, it is necessary to have a deep understanding of each engi-neering major, the characteristics of each major student, the talent requirements of each major, and the specific curriculum of innovation and entrepreneurship educa-tion for different majors and different contents to meet the requirements of the de-velopment of the times.(4)Establish the innovation and entrepreneurship databaseEntering the ‘Internet plus’ era, innovation and entrepreneurship competitions are endless. Led by the ‘Internet plus’ innovation and entrepreneurship competition, the petroleum technology innovation and entrepreneurship competition and various majors also have competitions for their own professional characteristics, such as process equipment design competition, mechanical innovation design competition,Creativity and Innovation Vol.3 No.1 2019electronic technology training contest, etc. In order to truly achieve the goal of “pro-moting learning and creating by competition”, university innovation and entrepre-neurship database should be established according to different grades. In the data-base, not only the competition manual made according to the specific requirements of each competition, but also the skills required for each competition should be counted. Students begin to enter the database from the first year of the university. At first, the knowledge interest database, the basic knowledge database of the first exam, and then the skill Library of the later learning software, such as the two -dimensional software, three -dimensional design software, analysis software, animation produc-tion software and so on, can get into the library if scored more than 85. For teachers, teachers’ qualifications and projects are also counted. What skills are needed to complete each project are publicized on the Internet, so that teachers’ students’ competitions and research projects can be found in the first time, and the database is updated and supplemented every semester. The phenomenon that teachers cannot find suitable students and students cannot display their talents will disappear.Database of engineering major in universities(5) Creating a healthy educational atmosphere for innovation and entre-preneurship.Healthy atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship refers to encouraging entrepreneurship and tolerating failure. This is not only related to universities, but also to students’ families. It is necessary to establish “home -school linkage”. If students’ entrepreneurship can be encouraged and supported by universities and families, it will be twice the result with half the effort. Closing remarksIt can be seen that with the development and progress of the economy and so-ciety, the take-off of the global economy and the advent of the ‘Internet plus’ age, the complexity and diversity of engineering technology have begun to increase, and the creativity of engineering talents is particularly important. The innovation and entrepreneurship education methods of engineering majors in universities need to be constantly developed and improved along with the reform. In the age of ‘Inter-net plus’, the exploration of innovation and entrepreneurship education for engi-neering majors in universities has great practical significance for training innova-tive talents in the future economic development.Works Cited[1] Song Zhishuai. “Research on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Model inEngineering Universities”.
