The audience would be all the local egyptians and I'd ask them "What do YOU think the Sphinx represents?" to get their perspective. Putting on shows was always my favorite part of my ancient Egypt unit at school.When I wasn't off having adventures, I'd just spend time walking around watching regular ancient egyptian people go about their daily lives. It would be so fascinating to see how they cooked meals, made pottery, tended to their animals, and played games with their kids in the village. Everyone would probably be weirded out by me at first because I'd be the only kid around wearing modern clothes and looking different.
