教材分析
本课是新标准英语一年级起点三年级下册第一模块的第二单元，这一模块的主要功能是描述人物的性格特点，寻求和给与帮助。
主要的语言目标是使学生运用句子:This little girl can’t do Maths. I’m going to help her.来描述大家在学习和生活中可能会遇到各种困难，如何给与别人帮助。
学情分析
三年级的学生已经有了两年多的英语学习基础，已经能进行简单的日常会话,对日常生活中一些可能会遇到各种困难已经能够熟练描述,而且乐于开口大胆说英语，但在语言综合性表达方面还有一定欠缺。
需要教师激发学生兴趣，创设情境，借助各个任务型活动的有效开展，让学生参与听说唱演游戏等大量活动，发展学生的综合表达能力。
教学目标
1、知识目标:掌握重点单词（helpful, plus, more, Maths, Chinese, English, Science）和重点句型This little girl can’t do Maths. I’m going to help her.
2、能力目标:熟悉并复习一下数字和学科并会运用如何用英语表示加法。
3﹑情感态度目标：课本中的parrot乐于助人，希望在生活中培
养学生乐于助人的情感。

1.Warm up and revision:
Greet the students and review the numbers and subjects.

Ss: 20.

Then practice the dialogue by different ways.
3.Practice
1）Teach the sentences one by one. Then practice in groups or with their deskmates.
2）Show the pictures and let the students describe one by one. Then listen to the tape and practice it. Encourage then do the actions as they like.
4.Extension
Play the game: Ask a student come to the front and Tell him or her a word, eg ‘nice’, then let the other students guess.
5.Summary：Read the sentences: This little boy\girl can’t do his\her Science……I’m going to help him\her.
