dear teacher and classmates:

i am very glad to make a speech here in this class again! this time, i\d like to talk something about english.

when i was seven, my mother sent me to an english school. at there, i played games and sang english songs with other children . then i discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the english world.

everyday, i read english following the tapes. sometimes, i watch english cartoons.

on the weekend, i often go to the english corner. by talking with different people there, i have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral english. i hope i can travel around the world someday. i want to go to america to visit washington monument, because the president washington is my idol. of course, i want to go to london too, because england is where english language developed. if i can ride my bike in cambridge university, i will be very happy.

i hope i can speak english with everyone in the world. i\ll introduce china to them, such as the great wall, the forbidden city and anshan.i know, rome was not built in a day. i believe that after continuous hard study, one day i can speak english very well.

if you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. so i believe as i love english everyday , it will love me too.

让感恩永存心间

“感恩的心，感谢有你，伴我一生，让我有勇气做我自己。”有人说，感恩是人的天性。当我们偶然来到这个世界上，什么都还没来得及做的时候，我们就已经开始享受前人带给我们物质和精神上的一切成果了。这就提醒着我们每一个人，要怀有一颗感恩的心。感恩的心让所有的人知道感恩，但是，有很多人却并不会感恩。许多自私的人只知道一味索取。

有一位母亲，含辛茹苦地抚养大一个儿子，但儿子却迷上了一个美丽妖娆的女子，不能自拔。有一天，这个女子对他说：“我需要一颗富有爱的心滋补我，你如果爱我，就把你母亲的心带来给我。”当晚男子就捧着他母亲的心赶往女子那里。这可是生他养他的母亲的心啊。他穿过森林时，不慎被树枝绊倒，当他爬起来跑过去捧起那颗心时，一个充满温柔且心疼的声音响起：“儿啊！你摔疼了吗？”此时，男子才醒悟，他抱着母亲的心痛苦不堪。

失去了，才懂得珍惜，这不是无知而是极大的不孝！父母是最疼我们的人啊，心能随意的挖吗？若是我们哪怕有一丝的不舒服，何止是心，父母愿意为我们付出一切！他们宁可是自己生病，自己承受痛苦，他们希望的只是儿女们平安、长大成人——

心中有感恩的你们，真的愿意父母为了自己而失去生命吗？姥姥去世的时侯，妈妈的一句话让我真真切切地知道什么失去，什么是遗憾，她说：“世界上最疼我的人不在了。”

所以，请不要再盲目了，从现在开始，让感恩永存心间，让生命充满爱，不要让爱留有遗憾。我的朋友们，让我们怀着感恩的心面向世界吧！让我们怀着感恩的心对待我们的生活吧！只要我们对生活充满感恩之心，充满希望与热情，我们的精神家园将永远年轻??

someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. i don’t know who wrote these words, but i’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be.
