一. 教材分析
Unit5 Book2 的主题是“School”. “Lesson1 Welcome to our school.”的语言功能是对学校建筑物进行介绍询问.学习任务是“Welcome to our school.This /That is…Is this …? Is that…?”
二. 学情分析
本课的教学对象是小学三年级学生, 他们对本课中出现的句型已经有了一定的掌握,有一定的基础。
他们求知欲强,急于得到别人的肯定,但认知水平参差不齐,因此,教师应多让其进行听和说的练习,培养其准确的语感, 并且在练习中多设计一些生动活泼,形式多样的活动来吸引孩子们的注意,让他们都有不同程度的收获。

2. 能听、说、认读单词:school,see,playground

1. 导入Is this your classroom?并板书, 学生回答Yes, it is. Look! Is this your school? ……. 引出课题:Welcome to our school. 由Schoolbag 引出school单词出示schoolbag单词,用去除的方法很快掌握school单词
课本CD直接展示Li Ming 的学校:Look! This is a school. It‟s Li Ming‟s school. 点明课题学习school。
【设计意图】通过教师介绍本课的题目,从而自然地引出本课的新单词和主要句型,直观的图片让学生对所学知识一目了然且加深了理解,结合实际的练习,让学生能够把所学知识灵活地运用到实际生活中来.
