浙江专升本2022英语考试真题及答案

浙江专升本2022英语考试真题及答案全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Big Zhejiang Test AdventureHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I love reading, playing outside, and learning new things. Today I want to tell you all about a really exciting adventure I had - taking the big Zhejiang English test for students who want to get their Associate's degree! It all started a few months ago when my parents told me I would be taking a special English exam. They said it was really important if I wanted to continue my studies after middle school.I was a little nervous at first, but also really eager to show off my English skills! The exam was split into different sections testing different things. First up was listening comprehension. The nice lady's voice on the recording read some passages and then asked multiple choice questions about them. Some were stories about kids going on fun trips or playing sports. Others talked about science topics like plants or the solar system. I focused reallyhard and used all my listening strategies like predicting what might happen next and taking notes on the key details.Next came the reading section, which was my favorite part! The passages were all super interesting and covered cool themes like exploring ancient civilizations, inventing new technologies, and protecting animals. Some questions asked me to identify the main idea or find specific details stated in the text. But others wanted me to make inferences by reading between the lines. I learned lots of new vocabulary words too, like "artifact" and "renewable energy."Writing was probably the hardest section for me. I had to write a short essay responding to an opinion prompt. The topic was whether kids should be assigned homework over summer vacation. I staked out my position that a break from homework helps kids recharge, spend time with family, and explore their interests outside the classroom. Then I came up with some persuasive reasons and examples to support my viewpoint. Organizing my essay with clear paragraphs and transitions was tricky, but I did my best!Grammar was the last section, which wasn't too bad since I've been studying English for years. There were questions on things like verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, andprepositions. Some of the grammar points were pretty complicated, like conditional sentences and relative clauses. But I've learned tons of grammar rules through reading, writing, watching shows, and just using English in my daily life. When I finished the exam, I felt both exhausted and proud of myself for persevering all the way through. My brain was full of new words, facts, and knowledge I'd absorbed from all those passages and questions!A couple months later, my parents got the results in the mail.I anxiously opened the envelope, scared that maybe I didn't do well enough. But then a huge smile spread across my face - I had passed with a really high score! My parents scooped me up in a giant bear hug, so excited for me to have this opportunity.I couldn't wait to tell all my friends and teachers about my big English test adventure. We had a little celebration party with my favorite treats like pizza, ice cream, and candy. Everybody congratulated me on my achievement and said they knew I could do it.Even though the exam was challenging, I'm really glad I got to take it and show what I can do in English. It makes me feel prepared and confident for the next steps in my educationjourney. Who knows, maybe I'll become an English teacher myself someday!I hope you enjoyed hearing about my exciting experience with the Zhejiang Associate's Degree English Exam. Study hard, believe in yourself, and you can conquer any test that comes your way. Just imagine how proud you'll feel when you pass with flying colors, just like me! Thanks for reading my story. Learn on, my friends!篇2The Big Zhejiang English TestHi friends! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I love learning English and I want to tell you all about this really big English test that some older students took last year called the Zhejiang self-study exam for English majors. It was super tough, but I'll do my best to explain it in a way that's easy to understand. Here we go!First off, the reading section was no joke. The passages were really long and had all these big fancy words that even made my parents' heads spin. But the questions were the realmind-benders. Like this one:"According to the passage, the author's main purpose in discussing familiarity was to:A. Introduce a new psychological theoryB. Critique a widely accepted premiseC. Explain the origin of a common expressionD. Describe a recurring pattern of behavior"Woah, right? My little brain was doing backflips trying to figure that one out. The answer ended up being D, but you really had to read super carefully to get it. There were lots of other tough questions like that too. Identifying main ideas, making inferences, finding specific details in the passage - the works! It was a reading marathon for sure. Then we had the writing section, which was a whole different beast. The instructions said things like "Discuss the influence of social media on interpersonal communication" and "Argue in favor of or against allowing climate change protests on college campuses." Yikes! Those topics are way over my head. I can barely write a simple story, nevermind a whole essay analyzing heavy issues like that. The English majors really had to organize their thoughts clearly and provide lots of examples and evidence. Mastering persuasive writing is no easy feat!Vocabulary was another big part of the test, of course. The students had to define words like:UbiquitousQuintessentialDichotomyEtherealI'm still working on words like "dog" and "cat," so those make my tongue do backflips. But expanding your vocabulary is crucial for reading complex texts and writing at a higher level. It was a true test of their English prowess. And could you believe there was even a translation section?! The students had to take passages from Chinese and translate them into perfect English, and vice versa. Now that's a skill I definitely don't have yet. My attempts at translating usually go something like "How are you?" = "You good?" Nailing grammar, idioms, tone - that level of mastery is crazy impressive.Phew, I'm getting tired just thinking about this massive exam. It covered listening, speaking, reading, writing - all the key language skills that English majors need to become true professionals. The test was definitely grueling, but I'm sure it wasexcellent preparation for further studies or a career using English. Those are the main things I learned about this big Zhejiang self-study English exam. I can't even imagine taking it myself - my little brain would probably explode! I'll just stick to learning fun English songs and books for now. But I have so much respect and admiration for the English majors who conquered this epic challenge. Way to go, guys! You're true English warriors.Okay, I've rambled on enough - time for me to go play outside and be a kid again. Let me know if you have any other questions about this crazy English test! Over and out!篇3My Big Bro's English ExamMy big brother Xiaoming just took this really big and important English exam called the Zhejiang zhuan sheng ben. It's a test that college students take to try to get into a university after going to junior college first. Xiaoming studied so hard for months! I saw him reading thick books, making flashcards, and listening to English audio lessons every single day. When the day of the big test finally came, Xiaoming was really nervous. He could barely eat any breakfast. My mom made him his favorite congyoubing but he just nibbled at it. I tried to cheer him up by telling jokes but he didn't even laugh. He just said "Xiao Di, this exam is everything. I have to do well or all my hard work was for nothing!" Then he rushed out the door to go take the test.Hours laterXiaoming came home looking exhausted but with a little smile on his face. I asked him "How did it go?? Was it hard??" He said it was really challenging but he felt pretty good about most of his answers. Then he told me all about some of the questions! The first section was listening comprehension. There was a recording about some tourists going on a scenic train ride. The tourists asked the tour guide a bunch of questions like "How long is the train ride?" and "What can we see from the windows?" After each question, there were 4 possible answers and you had to choose the right one based on what the guide said. Xiaoming said one tough question was when the guide listed some items that weren't allowed on the train, like outside food and drinks. You had to remember all the prohibited items.Next was reading comprehension. One passage was about the history of film animation. It described the earliest animated movies and the different technologies that were invented over time to make the animations more realistic and detailed. The questions asked things like who invented a certain technique, what year a famous animated film came out, and evaluating whether some statements were true or false according to the passage. Xiaoming struggled a bit with the vocabulary about the different animation methods. Then there was a writing section where you had to write a short essay disagreeing or agreeing with a given opinion. The prompt was "High schools should allow students to use cellphones during class time." Ooh I have some strong thoughts on that one! Xiaoming's essay stated that cellphones are too distracting and students should keep them put away to focus better on their lessons. But he argued teachers could let students use them at specific times for instructional purposes like looking up words or facts. The final part was speaking, where you had to respond to a prompt by recording yourself on the computer. Xiaoming's prompt asked him to describe his favorite teacher from elementary school and explain what made that teacher so great. Ifelt bad because I knew he would talk about Ms. Wang, who was his favorite but who passed away last year from cancer. He said it was hard not to get emotional, but he focused on describing how patient and caring she was, how engaging her lessons were, and how she inspired him to love learning. After telling me all the details, Xiaoming looked at me seriously and said "Xiao Di, you better start studying English hard now, because the zhuan sheng ben test is no joke! Being bilingual in English gives you such a huge advantage for better jobs and opportunities." I agreed and told him I was definitely going to work really hard on English from now on.A few weeks later, Xiaoming got his exam results back. He passed with flying colors and got admission to his top choice university! Our whole family celebrated with a delicious hotpot dinner. I'm so proud of my hardworking brother. And I'm already starting to prepare myself for when it's my turn to take that big English test in the future!篇4The Big Zhejiang Exam Adventure!Hi friends! I'm going to tell you all about the huge English exam I had to take recently. It was called the Zhejiang zhuansheng ben and it was really hard! But I studied super duper hard so I think I did okay. The exam had four sections - listening, reading, writing, and translation. I'll go through each one and let you know how it went!ListeningFor the listening part, we had to listen to recordings and answer multiple choice questions about what we heard. There were conversations between people as well as lectures and news reports. Some of the conversations were pretty funny! There was one between a mom and her son about cleaning his room. The mom kept nagging him to pick up his toys and clothes off the floor. I can relate to that one for sure! The lectures were more challenging. We had to listen really carefully and try to understand all the details and main ideas. One was about the history of skyscrapers which was interesting but very complex.Overall the listening wasn't too bad if you concentrated hard. Though I may have zoned out a couple times when my brain got tired!ReadingUh oh, the reading section was brutal! We had to read super long passages on all kinds of topics like science, history, culture, and more. The passages used sooo many big vocabulary words that I struggled to understand a lot of the trickier paragraphs. There were different types of questions too - multiple choice, short answer, true/false, etc. I ran out of time at the end and had to guess on a bunch which was not ideal! For one of the passages about environmental protection, I got stuck on a long word like "biogeochemical" and forgot what the main idea was by the time I finished that paragraph. Vocab is so important for reading!WritingPhew, we finally arrived at the writing section which was my favorite part! We had two tasks - write an email to a friend about an inspiring person, and an essay about whether elementary school students should have to wear uniforms. For the email, I wrote about my science teacher Mr. Jones who always makes our experiments so much fun. I described how he mixes the chemicals in these crazy vials and sometimes makes little explosions. He definitely inspired me to love science! The essay was a little tougher. I argued that uniforms shouldn't be required because kids should be able to express themselves through their clothing. Though I did acknowledge that uniforms might reduce bullying over what brand names people wear. Overall I said more freedoms for kids is better.I worked really hard on making my grammar great and adding lots of descriptive details in both the writing tasks. Hopefully my essays were a smash hit!TranslationLastly, we had to translate sentences back and forth between English and Chinese. This was rough since I'm still learning a ton of vocabulary in both languages. We had to translate idioms and phrases too which really tested how deeply we understood the metaphorical meanings of expressions. Like how do you translate "killed two birds with one stone" directly into Chinese? It's not easy!I tried my absolute best and used all the translation strategies we learned. But I definitely missed some of the trickier sentences. C'est la vie!The Zhejiang zhuan sheng ben felt like an marathon with how many different tasks we had to complete. But I gave it my all and am proud of the effort I put in, no matter how I scored. As long as I learned a bunch and had fun along the way, that's what counts! Exams come and go but lessons stay with you forever. Now I'm an English exam veteran!Well, that's my full report on this crazy experience. Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks for reading, talk to you later!篇5The Big Important Zhejiang English TestHi! My name is Xiaoming and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to tell you all about the super duper important Zhejiang Associate's Degree Examination English test from 2022. It was a really big deal test that older students had to take. I didn't take it since I'm still just a kid, but my brother Xiaoliang did and he told me all about it. He's in college now studying to get an even higher degree after this test. Pretty cool, huh?The test had listening, reading, writing, and translation sections. Listening was first. Xiaoliang said they playedrecordings and asked questions to see if you understood. He had to listen really carefully! Some of the recordings were conversations between two people. Others were longer lectures or reports on different topics. The questions checked if you knew details, main ideas, inferences, and more. Phew, sounds hard!Next was the reading part. This had all kinds of different passages - emails, letters, articles, ads, and more. The passages were about all sorts of subjects too like science, culture, business, and more. Xiaoliang had to read carefully and answer detailed questions testing his comprehension. He worked really hard practicing his reading skills before the test. Then it was time for writing. Xiaoliang had to write a short passage responding to a prompt or assignment. He said it was important to have a clear purpose, organize his ideas logically, use good vocabulary, and write with few mistakes. The graders wanted to see if he could communicate effectively in written English based on the prompt. No pressure, right?!Finally, there was a translation section where Xiaoliang translated sentences between English and Chinese in both directions. He needed to preserve the original meaning accurately when translating. It was kind of like being aninterpreter, but on paper instead of out loud. Pretty neat skill if you ask me!Xiaoliang studied super hard for months getting ready. He took practice tests, reviewed vocabulary and grammar, worked on listening strategies, and more. All that practice paid off because he did amazing on the test! His scores were some of the highest in the whole province. I was sooo proud of my big brother. After the test, the graders added up everyone's scores on each section. Xiaoliang did best on the reading and worst on the listening. For reading, there were questions about scanning, skimming, getting details, making inferences, and understanding main ideas and organization. The passages could be very technical and have hard vocabulary too. Listening was tough because the recordings used different accents and could be fast or have background noise. You really had to concentrate! For writing, Xiaoliang's prompt was to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of working from home versus going into an office. He made sure to have a clear introduction with a thesis, body paragraphs with specific reasons and examples, and a good conclusion to restate his main points.Connecting words like "however" and "moreover" were important to make his writing flow logically. The translation part was interesting. Xiaoliang had to convert passages accurately while also making them sound natural in the target language. Things like idioms, jokes, cultural references and more made translation extra tricky. You couldn't just do it word-for-word but had to really understand the meaning behind each sentence or phrase.Phew, that test was no joke! It challenged students'all-around English abilities in a big way across listening, reading, writing, and translation. I'm just glad I don't have to take it for a few more years. For now, I'll stick to my easy kid homework and games. Tests like that can wait til I'm much older!Xiaoliang worked his butt off though, and all his efforts paid off with an amazing score. I'm so proud that my big brother rocked the Zhejiang Associate's Degree English Exam. He's really motivated me to keep working hard on my English skills too. Who knows, maybe one day I'll follow in his footsteps and take that big test myself when I'm all grown up. But no rush, I'm just a kid! For now, I'll learn from Xiaoliang's example and have fun practicing English at my level.Well, that's all I've got to say about this big important test. It was an awesome accomplishment for Xiaoliang and I can't wait to see what he goes on to do next. I'll be cheering him on for sure! In the meantime, I'm working on mastering singalong English videos and joke books. Baby steps towards being an English pro like my brother one day. Thanks for reading, gotta run play now. Bye!篇6The Big Test for Grown-Up StudentsLast year, my older sister Jenny took a really important test called the Zhejiang Associate's Degree Examination. It's a huge deal for students who have already finished vocational college or junior college. If they do well on this test, they can get a bachelor's degree from a university without having to take all the regular university classes! How cool is that?Jenny studied so hard for months getting ready. She had to learn all sorts of difficult things like advanced math, complicated science topics, and analyze long reading passages in English. I tried to help her practice her English, but a lot of the vocabulary words were way too hard for a kid like me. Words like "superannuated" and "ubiquitous" - what do those even mean? The English part of the test had listening, reading, writing, translation, and other sections. For the listening, Jenny had to wear headphones and answer questions about recordings of conversations and lectures. The reading had long passages about things like business, technology, and social issues that she had to understand and answer detailed questions on.For the writing part, she had to write a short essay in English on a given topic in a limited time. Can you imagine having to write a whole essay in English in just 30 minutes? I can barely write one paragraph without making tons of mistakes! The translation section required her to translate passages back and forth between English and Chinese accurately. So much pressure!Jenny was really nervous before the test day. She kept going over her notes and practice tests over and over. I tried to cheer her up by telling jokes and doing silly dances for her. I think it helped a little bit to calm her down. When the big test day finally came, she had to wake up at 5am! The testing site was at a university pretty far away, so she had to get there really early. I gave her a good luck high-five as she headed out the door with her No. 2 pencils, eraser, and snacks sharply at 6:30am.The test was scheduled to last over 3 hours in the morning, with just a short break in between sections. After a quick lunch, there was another 2 hour test block in the afternoon on different subjects. What a marathon! By the time Jenny got home that evening, she could barely keep her eyes open from mental exhaustion. While we waited for her results over the next few weeks, Jenny was a nervous wreck. She kept wondering if she bubbled in the right ovals on her answer sheet or if her essay made sense to the graders. I made her hot chocolate and told her it would be okay no matter what. Having an encouraging little brother is important during stressful times! Finally, the long-awaited results email arrived. Jenny ripped it open and... she passed! She got high enough scores to get admitted to a bachelor's degree program at a prestigious university. We all cheered and celebrated her hard work paying off. There may have been jumping on beds and ice cream sundaes involved. After seeing how difficult the Zhejiang Associate's Degree Examination was, I have a new-found respect for students like my sister who take on such academic challenges. Juggling a full load of studies on top of jobs, family, and other responsibilities isincredibly hard. I'm so proud of Jenny for persevering and achieving her dream.Who knows, in several years when I'm preparing to take the exam myself, maybe I'll be asking Jenny for tutoring help! Finishing vocational college, taking this intense test, and then earning a bachelor's degree is such an amazing accomplishment. My big sister is proof that with determination and grit, you can upgrade your education at any stage in life. Just don't ask me what "ubiquitous" means - that's still too advanced for this kid!。

Part I Reading Comprehension (60 marks, 60 minutes)Section AFormat Ⅰ(共20 小题,每题2 分,共40 分)Directions:There are 4 passages in this part. Each passage is followed by five questions. For each of them there are four choices marked A, B, C, and D. You should decide on the best choice and blacken the corresponding letter on Answer Sheet.Passage oneQuestions 1 to 5 are based on the following passage:A U.N. report says water is in demand around the world as temperatures on Earth's surface rise and demand grows along with populations. The report was released this week at the World Water Forum in Brasilia. The conference has been described as the world's largest water-related event.Federal District Governor Rodrigo Rollemberg spoke at a panel discussion on Tuesday at the forum. He described water shortages as a worldwide problem. The public water supply has less water because of low rainfall as well as fast and disorderly growth in Brasilia, which is part of the Federal District, Rollemberg said. In January , after three years of little rain, district officials began limiting how much water people could use. The governments of the Federal District and the nearby state of Goias also gave $166 million to develop water infrastructure.Demand around the world is expected to increase by nearly one-third by 2050. By then, 5 billion people could be left with poor access to water, the U. N. warned in its World Water Development Report. To avoid such a crisis, U. N. officials called for "nature-based solutions" that use or copy natural processes that should be used to increase water availability. They said solutions could include changing farming methods so fields keep more moisture and nutrients, collecting rainwater, and protecting wetlands. The officials also proposed reestablishing floodplains and said that plants could be grown on housetops. Such proposals will become more important as water industries grow.1. Who talked about water shortages in Brasilia at a panel discussion?A. JournalistB. A U.N. officialC. A Federal District officialD. An official from the state of Goias2. What is among the reasons for less public water supply in Brasilia?A. Waste of rainwaterB. Insufficient rainfallC. Growing plants on the roofsD. Development in infrastructure3. What did the Federal District government do to deal with water shortage?A. They controlled populationB. They limited water consumptionC. They invested in artificial rainmakingD. They suggested “nature-based solutions”4. What is Not a “nature-based solution”?A. Gathering rainwaterB. Preserving wetlandsC. Sustaining water in soilD. Building house on floodplains5. What’s the main idea of this passage?A. Brasilia is facing the problem of water shortagesB. The world has found a solution of water shortagesC. The world is facing the problem of water shortagesD. A report was released at the world water Forum in BrasiliaPassage TwoQuestions 6 to 10 are based on the following passage:The Queen has only given one interview while a sovereign. Her true personality remains elusive to the public. However, one thing is clear: Queen Elizabeth is an introvert. Introverts prefer quiet environments and feel energized from spending time alone or with people they know well. They aren’t necessarily shy, but they do tend to be more reserved and guarded with strangers. Fellow introverts will appreciate how draining an average day for Her Majesty must be.Fortunately, the Queen has some tricks to make public engagements easier. Just like us commoners rely on friends to save us from awkward situations or boring conversations, she subtly signals to her staff when she wants an intervention. If she places her handbag on the table, it indicates that she wants the event to end in the next five minutes. For more urgent situations, putting her bag on the floor shows that she wants her lady-in-waiting to rescue her immediately. Most comfortable in the countryside, the Queen has a well-known passion for horses and dogs. There is a scene in the hit Netflix show The Crown which reveals a fascinating side of the monarch. While giving Jackie Kennedy a personal tour of Buckingham Palace, the two women findthemselves bonding over their respective positions as introverted women who have found themselves in the limelight. Surrounded by the Queen’s beloved dogs, both women admit they are happiest around animals and that their extroverted sisters would have been much better suited to their public roles.6. The underlined word “draining” (Paragraph 1) is the closest in meaning to ______.A. frustratingB. exhaustingC. demandingD. aspiring7. To be rescued immediately in a public engagement, the Queen would ______.A. end the event within five minutesB. place her handbag on the tableC. wave to her lady-in-waitingD. put her bag on the floor8. In the last paragraph, the underlined expression “the two women find themselves bonding over their respective positions” means that the two ladies ______.A. admire each otherB. help each other in publicC. grow closer to each otherD. show respect for each other9. Queen Elizabeth and Jackie Kennedy share the following traits or facts EXCEPT that ______ .A. both have sistersB. both love animalsC. both enjoy being in publicD. both are introverted woman10. The author’s attitude can be described as ______.A. neutralB. criticalC. pessimisticD.subjectivePassage ThreeQuestions 11 to 15 are based on the following passage:Back when Disney products were to be watched, not experienced. Walt Disney had a vision: a theme park that felt like stepping into a magical new place. Now, we can finally witness Walt’s first dream. Before construction could start, Walt needed funding. He and his friend Herb Ryman puttheir heads together and mapped our their dream for the Disneyland. In just one frenzied 1953 weekends, their idea came to life on paper -- and you’ll notice both subtle differences from and remarkable similarities to the modern Anaheim, California, park.Like today, visitors would have entered the park in to a Main Street USA-type area. The tunnels aren’t as wide as they were imagined more than 60 years ago, but park-goers are still greeted with a train passing overhead as they make their way toward the magic. (Even with a modern Disney map, it’s tough to find there secret Disney park spots you never knew existed.) Walt always hoped for a castle as a focal point of the park, but its real-life copy changed from his initial dream. The first palace was a sprawling fortress, hiding a massive carousel(旋转木马)beyond its walls. Now, Sleeping Beauty Castle has more intricate spires, and King Arthur Carrousel takes its spins in Fantasyland, behind the palace.Walt’s vision for the Mark Twain steamboat circling around Tom Sawyer Island and its Pirate’s Lair(巢穴)hasn’t changed much, though at that point it was called Frontier Country instead of Frontierland. That wasn’t the only name change, though. World of Tomorrow turned into Tomorrowland -- and eventually lost its rocket. Astronauts walked on the moon 14 years after the park was built, making the Rocket to the Moon seem out-of-date. Meanwhile, True-Life Adventured lost its first word, while most of the areas took on totally different themes.11.What was Walt Disney’s first dream?A. To build a theme parkB. To draw a map on paperC. To travel in a magic placeD. To design a series of products12.Before construction started, Walt Disney did the following EXCEPT_____A. getting fundingB. planning the parkC. drawing the park on paperD. daydreaming with a friend13.Which of the following park spots has not changed much since Walt’s vision came to life on paper?A. A Main Street areaB. World of TomorrowC. Sleeping Beauty CastleD. True-life Adventureland14.How many name changes have been mentioned in this passage?A. OneB. TwoC. ThreeD. Four15.What is the theme of this passage?A. A tour in DisneylandB. Walt Disney’s life storyC. The future of DisneylandD. Walt Disney’s first dreamPassage fourQuestions 16 to 20 are based on the following passage:You’ve made it. You managed to navigate your way through the airport; you breezed through security; and you successfully boarded the plane. Now you’re comfortable in your seat in the cabin, and there’s even a little bit of elbow room, as the flight isn’t fully booked for once. With the hassle behind you, you settle in with your neck pillow, pop some Kenny G on your iPod, and get ready to spend quality time sleeping on a plane. And you’re about to make a huge mistake that will put your health at risk, as reported by Travel + Leisure. It’s not because of Kenny G. It’s the shuteye part. According to Medline Plus, falling asleep during or takeoff could cause serious damage to your ears. It all has to do with the rapid changes in air pressure in the cabin. If you’re awake, a natural response to alleviate pressure on your eardrums during takeoff and landing is to “pop” them, to maintain pressure equilibrium. If you’re sleeping on a plane, you can’t actively work to relax those muscles and release the tension, so you can become susceptible to dizziness, ear infection, eardrum damage, hearing loss and nose bleeds. “A quick change in altitude affects the air pressure in the ear,” says Angel Chalmers, a British pharmacist, viaExpress. “This leads to a vacuum in the Eustachian tubes(咽鼓管)which makes the ears feel blocked and sound dull.”Keep those Eustachian tubes clear and keep those eyes open for at least another few minutes. Open that book you just bought in the terminal. After all, there are some major advantages to buying your reading material at the airport.16.The underlined sentence “You’ve made it” (Paragraph 1) means that you have managed_____?A.to board the planeB. to get a bit of elbow roomC. to get ready to sleep after boardingD. to make yourself comfortable after boarding17.What would damage your health when the plane takes off or lands?A. Using a neck pillowB. Shutting your eyesC. Listening to musicD. Falling asleep18.The underlined word “alleviate” (paragraph 2) is the closest meaning to_____?A. increaseB. reduceC. maintainD. escape19.Having a vacuum in the Eustachian tubes during takeoff and landing could cause unpleasant symptoms to the following body parts EXCEPT_____A. the throatB. the noseC. the earsD. the head20.The author suggests that you read a book _____ during the plane taking off and landing.A. to amuse yourselfB. to stay awakeC. to keep your ears clearD. to make yourself comfortableFormatⅡ(共5小题,每题2分,共10分)Directions: In the following passage, some sentences have been removed.
