1. rule.这个词可太重要啦,它作名词的时候是“规则;规章”的意思。
比如说,“school rules”(学校规章)。
就像学校里规定不能在走廊里跑,这就是一条rule。
它还可以作动词,是“统治;支配”的意思,不过在咱们这单元主要是名词的用法哦。
2. arrive.表示“到达”,但是它是个很讲究的词呢。
如果后面是小地点,像“arrive at school”(到达学校);要是后面是大地点,就得说“arrive in Beijing”(到达北京)。
可不能乱用哦,不然就像穿错了鞋子一样别扭。
3. hallway.这个词就是“走廊;过道”的意思。
想象一下,学校的走廊,大家在那里来来往往的,就是“hallway”啦。
注意它的读音,可别读错了,不然就像唱歌跑调一样搞笑。
4. listen.它是“听”的意思,但是和“hear”(听见)还有点区别哦。
“listen”强调听的动作,比如“listen to music”(听音乐),你得主动去听。
而“hear”更强调听的结果,就像你可能不经意间就hear了一些声音。
5. fight.这个词有“打架;战斗”的意思。
在学校里,fighting(打架)可是不被允许的,这是违反规则的行为呢。
它的过去式是“fought”,可别写错啦,要是写成“fighted”,那就像自创了一个单词,会让人笑掉大牙的。
6. wear.表示“穿;戴”。
