公牛英语小作文

The Power of the Bull: Lessons from anEnglish EssayIn the heart of the rural countryside, a powerfulsymbol stands tall and proud - the bull. A creature of strength and determination, the bull embodies the spirit of perseverance and unyielding will. This essay, penned in the language of Shakespeare and Milton, explores the profound lessons we can learn from this remarkable beast. The bull's physical attributes are a testament to its strength. With muscles that ripple and bulge under its skin, it is a testament to the raw power of nature. Its horns,尖锐而坚硬,are weapons of defense and attack, a constant reminder of its dominance in the animal kingdom. However,it is not just its physical strength that sets the bull apart; it is its mental strength that truly defines it.The bull's spirit is one of unwavering resolve. It knows no fear, only the pursuit of its goals. Whether it's charging towards a red flag in a bullfight or plowing through fields of grain, the bull's single-minded focus is remarkable. It does not hesitate, it does not doubt; it simply moves forward, unstoppable. This resolute spirit is a powerful lesson for us all.In our lives, we encounter challenges and obstacles thatcan leave us feeling overwhelmed and helpless. However, the bull teaches us that with determination and perseverance,we can overcome any obstacle. Just as the bull charges unyieldingly towards its goal, we must charge towards our dreams with the same unwavering resolve. The bull's unyielding will is also a reminder of the importance of staying true to ourselves. In a world that often demands us to compromise our principles for the sakeof convenience or popularity, the bull stands as a constant reminder of the value of staying true to oneself. It does not care about what others think; it only cares about whatit knows is right. As we navigate through the complexities of life, it is easy to lose sight of our true selves. We become swayed by external pressures and influenced by the opinions of others. However, the bull teaches us that we must always hold fastto our principles and stay true to ourselves. Only then can we truly achieve our full potential. The English essay on the bull is not just a celebration of the beast's physical strength and mental resolve; it is also a call to arms for us all. It reminds us that we possess the same strength and determination as the bull, and that with these qualities, we can achieve anything we set our minds to.In conclusion, the bull stands as a powerful symbol of strength, determination, and resolve. Its lessons are timeless and universal, applicable to all aspects of our lives. As we move forward in our journeys, let us remember the power of the bull and draw strength from its unwavering spirit.**公牛的力量:一篇英语小作文带来的启示**在乡村的田野间,一个骄傲的、高大的象征矗立在那里——公牛。

个人作文:Bullfighting: Sport, Culture Or Animal Cruelty?(斗牛:是运动,文化还是虐待动物)By 咆哮的蕉蕉2009年Bullfighting: Sport, Culture Or Animal Cruelty? When I was little, I saw a bullfighting on TV. I didn't memorize the shiny cloth of the matador nor the crowed big arena, but the eyes of the dying bull who was lying in a pool of blood. Although I didn't know the word desperate at that time, I could tell from the bull's eyes that it was in pain. "Why do the man kill the bull?" I asked my mother. She changed the channel and answered me that it's a sport and culture of some countries. When I grew up, I came to realize that bullfightomg is an absolute form of animal cruelty under the disguise of sport and culture.Bullfighting is not a sport. Instead, it is an unfair game from the beginning to end. Prior to entering the ring, the matadors have time to prepare for the "fight". However, for bulls, without choice to not entering the game, they are not informed of the coming game except some signs that they are locked in dark without food or water, and their horns are often shaved to be less sharp. When bulls come out to the ring, they are blinded by the light and exhausted. Then, the picadors stab the bulls' necks and backs, which happens before the matadors' "fight"even begins. Therefore, each bull is weaken physically and mentally before coming face to face with their adversaries. Although a few bulls can overcome pain and tiredness to defeat matadors, they are still bound to lose. I was told by a friend who recently traveled Spain and saw a bullfight there. She said almost at the end of the bullfight, the matador was injured at the abdomen by the bull, and he was carried away immediately while the game wasprovionally stopped. Feeling sorry for the matador, I was also awed by the bull who won the game under the extreme unfairness. However, bullfighting is a game that bulls are bound to die. "After a short time's waiting", my friend continued indignantly. "Another matador entered and easily thrust his sword to the bull's heart." At that moment, I realized the real heroes in the arena are those poor bulls who play no schemes and fight to death.Bullfighting is not a culture. Spain is a country whose major culture is considered to be bullfighting. However, latest polls show that 72% of Spain citizens have no interest in bullfighting and 63% of citizens want their cities to end it. These datas show that most of Spanish would not go to see bullfighting, so how could bullfighting still be a Spanish culture when most of Spanish disgust it and abandon it?A few people support bullfighting as a culture because it represents bravery of the people in the country. However, as an unfair game, bullfighting shows totally the opposite way that people are timid to fight equally with bulls that they make the games have little risk to matadors. I believe not everything that has a long tradition is worthy of being called "culture", and bullfighting is a tradition which belongs to the past. Furthermore, bullfighting is not so much a culture than a money-earning tool. Since it's less attracting to locals, bullfighting tends to attract tourists by advertising it as a culture. Most spectators in the arenas are travelers from all over the world who come to see the "culture" of Spain.Bullfighting is an absolute form of animal cruelty. The bull are barred and speared many times, which makes the scene very bloody and violent all the time.Bulls are losing blood by being provoked and moving around forcedly. Only after taunting and injuring them until they are entirely exhausted, would matadors end the bulls' life by piercing their hearts by swords. As human, animals also have nervous system, so they can feel pain as we do. Each bullfighting, bulls are in extreme agony untill they die, and they are not the only creature being tormented during bullfighting. Matadors ride horses, so when bulls attack back, horses are often being injured. They seldom dodge the attack because they are blindfolded so that they cannot defend themselves from the charges of the bulls. Therefore, horses become another sacrifice in the bullfighting which is another form of animal cruelty. All of these make me disgust bullfighting, which tortures and slaughters defensive animals for "fun", as a shame of humanity. In a word, bullfighting is neither a sport nor a culture, but an absolute animal cruelty waiting to be stopped.。
