The use of computers has profoundly changed almost every aspect of space exploration from simulation to carrying out real tasks. Observational technologies such as cameras. recorders and other machines also profoundly facilitate space exploration. While in ancient times, people could only sketch their observations. What's more, with the development of rockets and the advances in modern survival technology, it becomes possible to send machines and even people into outer space.

Computers, observational technologies and modern survival technology are just some examples to illustrate the role of technology in space exploration.
