Describe a person you admire.Describe the famous person you admire most.Describe a person who had a positive impact on you.Describe a person who you would like to talk with.Describe a special friend in your childhood.Describe an elder person that you respect.Describe your favorite performer or musician. What are some important characteristics of a good leader?

What do you think is ONE of the most important characteristics that a good teacher should have? Include specific reasons and details in your explanation.

Describe a person who had a positive impact on you.The person I want to describe is my grandfather. He is a medium height man. He is smartly dressed with a big pair of glasses. He is a retired history teacher. I was raised up by my grandparents because my parents were very busy working when I was a little kid. My grandfather was methodical in teaching. He tirelessly taught me a lot of historic stories and knowledge to educate me and build my good personality. I liked to listen to his stories like patriotism or great inventors. I showed great interest on history because of him and he had positive impact on me.2.

Describe an object that is of special value to you.Describe the most important gift you have received.Describe a book that you think is interesting.Describe a piece of advice which was given by a friend.Describe a piece of good news which made you feel happy.

Describe a job that you admire. The job I admire is a singer. I think it is very cool to be a singer. By the way, it is a well-paid job. I am crazy about music, especially rock&roll. When the singer stands on stage and expresses his feelings to the fans, it is really admirable. Music can make people relax and improve people’s quality. It is the best way to express feelings and release pressure. In China, I think singers are well paid. I want to be a singer because I have clear and good voice. I strongly believe that my dream can come true as my idol, a Chinese singer called Qinyong, did at last.‘3.

A foreign visitor has only one day to spend in your country. Where would you suggest this visitor go on that day?Choose a park or public area that you often go to and explain why it is important. When you choose a house or apartment, what is the most important characteristic you care about?

Choose a park or public area that you often go to and explain why it is important.I want to talk about a park near my community. It is located in the city center. It is not large, but very popular. There are a lot of communities and stores in the neighborhood, so many people would like to take a walk in this park. There is a stone path winding around the park. We can see some exercise equipment in the corner. There are a lot of flowers and trees around the artificial lake in the central area of the park. We can boat on the lake in warm weather. The wooden bridge going over the lake. It is a good place for relaxing. It is important because people use this place to take a walk, do exercises or socialize. They need this park for leisure.4.

Describe a memorable event that you experienced with families or friends.Describe a social or political event celebrated in your country.Describe a successful event in your life.Describe the most enjoyable event in your childhood.

Describe a social or political event celebrated in your country.I want to describe a social event which is really important in my country. The festival of Dragon Boat Day, on May 5th, lunar calendar, is celebrated in every part of our country. It is a both interesting and educational festival. On that day, every family makes zongzi to eat and boil eggs with mugwort leaves to keep clean and well. People living by rivers also hold the dragon boat games to celebrate the festival. On Miluo River, the dragon boat game is a must. It is related to a Chinese historic story of Quyuan, who was a famous patriotic poet. People hold dragon boat game in memory of Quyuan. It is in a legend that people throw zongzi in Miluo River to feed big fishes to keep his dead body complete. This celebration activity is educational. It is a mirror of part of our brilliant culture.

In my family, my mother has influenced me greatly because she has so many good qualities. She Is very well educated and keeps an open mind. Her thinking is very modern. She is able to understand people from different generations. In addition, she is a good listener. This makes her tolerant of other people’s opinions. Her personal values set a good example for me to follow in my own life. The way she treats people and thinks makes me want to become the best person I can be. This is why I think my mother has influenced me the most in my life。

另外,较为常见的一些题目还包括描述a song, a film, a painting, a photograph等题目。

Describe a person you admire.Describe the famous person you admire most.Describe a person who had a positive impact on you.Describe a person who you would like to talk with.Describe a special friend in your childhood.Describe an elder person that you respect.Describe your favorite performer or musician. What are some important characteristics of a good leader?

What do you think is ONE of the most important characteristics that a good teacher should have? Include specific reasons and details in your explanation.

1.Which of the following activities would be more interested in doing? Teaching children, teaching adults to use computers or cleaning city park。

2.Talk about an activity that you enjoyed doing with your family when you were a child, explain you answer in details3.What activity do you think can cultivate children's sense of responsibility?

Talk about the music that you like the least很多考生对于这个Least往往都会忽略的。

Research shows that people are supposed to sleep for at least 8 hours a day, but as a matter of fact, some people sleep for only 6.5 hours. Are there any impact of not having enough hours of sleep? Use specific details and examples to explain your answer. Are there any impact of not having enough hours of sleep?

Task 1: Independent Speaking Favorite Place.Hey there! When it comes to my favorite place, it's gotta be the beach. Now, I know some people might be like, "Oh, the beach? That's so cliché." But hear me out!First off, the beach is like a natural stress reliever. Picture this: you've had a crazy week at work or school, dealing with all kinds of deadlines and drama. You get to the beach, and the second you step ontothat sandy shore, you just feel all that tension melting away. The sound of the waves crashing, it's like nature's own white noise machine, drowning out all the chaos in your head. And then there's the sun! I mean, who doesn't love a good dose of vitamin D? Lying on a beach towel, soaking up the rays, feeling that warm glow on your skin... it's like a mini vacation from reality. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can take a dip in the ocean. The water might be a bit chilly at first, but once you're in, it's so refreshing. It's like doing a big, refreshing body wash for your whole self!Another thing I love about the beach is the people-watching. You seeall kinds of characters down there. There's the family with the little kids building sandcastles, the surf dudes showing off their skills (and sometimes wiping out in the most hilarious ways), and the old couples taking a romantic stroll along the shore. It's like a little slice of life, and it's just so entertaining.Plus, there's always food! You can't go to the beach without having some classic beach snacks. Ice cream cones, hot dogs, popcorn... it's likea food lover's paradise. And if you're lucky, there might be a local food truck selling some delicious, unique treats. So, yeah, the beach is my favorite place. It's where I go to unwind, have fun, and just enjoy the simple things in life. What's not to love?Task 2: Independent Speaking Agree or Disagree: Students should be required to take a year off before starting college.Well, I definitely disagree with the idea that students should be required to take a year off before starting college. I mean, come on,that's just asking for trouble! For one thing, students have been in the learning groove for like their whole lives up until that point. They've got all this momentum going, and taking a year off could completely throw them off track. It's like running a race and suddenly stopping for a whole year. By the time they get back into the swing of things, they might have forgotten a lot of what they learned in high school. And trust me, college is no joke. You need to be on your A-game from day one.Another reason is that a year off can be really distracting. What are students supposed to do during that year? Some might end up getting involved in things that aren't so productive. They might get a job that's not related to their future studies and end up losing focus on their academic goals. Or worse, they might get into some bad habits or get too comfortable with a laid-back lifestyle and then have a hard time adjusting to the more rigorous college life. And let's not forget about the financial aspect. College is already expensive enough, and taking a year off means an extra year of living expenses without the potential income from a part-time job or scholarshipthat you could be getting in college. It's just not practical for a lot of students and their families.Sure, some students might benefit from taking a year off to travel or do some volunteer work and gain some life experience. But that should be a personal choice, not a requirement. Every student is different, and some are ready to jump right into college after high school. So, in my opinion, making it mandatory for everyone to take a year off is just a bad idea.Task 3: Integrated Speaking Campus Announcement.Hey, so I just heard this announcement about a new policy on campus, and let me break it down for you.Basically, the school is going to start implementing a new recycling program. They want to make the campus more environmentally friendly, which is a great idea, right? I mean, we all should be doing our part to save the planet.According to the announcement, they're going to set up more recycling bins around campus. So instead of just having one or two bins here and there, there'll be bins for different types of recyclables like paper, plastic, and glass in every building and even in some of the outdoor areas. That way, it'll be a lot easier for students and faculty to recycle their stuff. They're also going to have some educational campaigns to teach everyone about the importance of recycling and how to properly sort the recyclables.I think this is really cool because a lot of people don't actually know what can and can't be recycled. So having these campaigns will help raise awareness and make sure we're all doing it right. Now, in the conversation, the two students had some different opinions about this. The guy thought it was a great idea. He said it'll make the campus look nicer and cleaner, and he's all for doing something good for the environment. He also thought the educational campaigns would be helpful because he admitted that he wasn't always sure what to recycle. But the girl wasn't so sure. She was worried that it would be a hassle to have to remember to sort all her trash into different bins. She saidshe's always in a rush between classes and doesn't have time to be super careful about separating her paper from her plastic. And she was also a bit skeptical about how effective the educational campaigns would be. She thought a lot of people might just ignore them.Personally, I think it's a good policy overall. Yeah, it might take a little getting used to at first, but in the long run, it'll be worth it for the environment. And I hope the educational campaigns will actually work and make it easier for everyone to recycle.Task 4: Integrated Speaking Lecture on Animal Communication.Okay, so in the lecture, the professor was talking about animal communication, and it was really fascinating. He started off by saying that animals have all these different ways of communicating with each other, and it's not just about making sounds like we might think. One of the main ways he talked about was through body language. For example, he mentioned bees. Bees use a special kind of body language called the "waggle dance" to tell other bees where to find food. It's like they're doing their own little dance party, but it actually has a really important purpose. When a bee finds a good source of nectar, it'llcome back to the hive and do this waggle dance. The direction and speed of the dance tell the other bees the direction and distance of the food source. It's like they have their own secret code that only bees can understand.Another example he gave was about dogs. Dogs use their body language to show different emotions and intentions. If a dog's tail is wagging and its ears are up, it usually means it's happy and friendly. But if its tail is between its legs and its ears are down, it might be scared or submissive. So, just by looking at a dog's body posture, you can kind of figure out how it's feeling. The professor also talked about how some animals use chemical signalsto communicate. He mentioned ants as an example. Ants leave pheromonetrails to mark the path to food. It's like they're leaving little breadcrumbs for their ant buddies to follow. So, when one ant finds food,it leaves a trail of these chemicals, and the other ants can follow thetrail right to the food source. In conclusion, animal communication is way more complex than we might think. They have all these cool ways of getting messages across to each other, whether it's through body language or chemical signals. It's like they have their own little world of communication that we're just startingto understand.Task 5: Integrated Speaking Problem and Solutions. So, the problem in this conversation is that the girl has a big project due in her history class, but she also has to work a shift at her part-time job on the same day. She's really stressed out because she doesn't want to miss work, but she also can't afford to mess up her project. The first solution they come up with is for her to ask her boss if she can switch shifts with someone else. That way, she can work on her project without having to worry about missing work. The advantage of this is that she won't lose any money from not working, and she'll be able to focus on her project. But the downside is that her boss might not be too happy about her asking to switch shifts, especially if there's no one else available to cover her shift. The second solution is for her to try to work on her project during her break at work. She could bring her notes and books with her and use her break time to do some research and writing. The good thing about this isthat she doesn't have to ask her boss for anything, and she can still get some work done on her project. However, the problem is that her break might not be long enough for her to get a lot done, and it might be hard to concentrate with all the noise and distractions at work.If I were her, I'd probably go with the first option. I mean, it'sbetter to ask her boss and see if there's a possibility of switching shifts. If it doesn't work out, then she can always try the second option as a backup. But it's worth a shot to see if she can get the shift switched and avoid having to juggle both things at the same time.Task 6: Integrated Speaking Summary of Lecture on the Benefits of Teamwork.Alright, so in this lecture, the professor was talking about thebenefits of teamwork, and he had some really interesting points.First of all, he said that teamwork can lead to better problem-solving. When people work in a team, they bring different perspectives and ideas to the table. It's like a big brainstorming session. For example, if a team is working on a design project, one person might be really good at coming upwith creative concepts, while another person might be great at thetechnical details. By working together, they can combine their strengthsand come up with a better solution than if they were working alone.Another benefit he mentioned was increased efficiency. In a team, people can divide up the tasks according to their skills and expertise. So instead of one person trying to do everything, each person can focus onwhat they're good at. This means that the work gets done faster and more accurately. He used the example of a construction project. The carpenters can focus on building the structure, the electricians can handle the wiring, and the plumbers can take care of the plumbing. By working together like this, the project can be completed more efficiently. The professor also talked about how teamwork can improve morale. When people work in a team, they feel like they're part of something bigger. They support each other and celebrate each other's successes. It creates a positive work environment where everyone feels motivated to do their best. He gave the example of a sports team. When the team wins a game, everyone feels proud and excited. That kind of camaraderie and teamwork spirit can really boost morale. In summary, teamwork has a lot of benefits. It helps with problem-solving, increases efficiency, and improves morale. So, whether it's in the workplace, school, or any other setting, working in a team can lead tobetter results.。
