Ⅰ. Lead-in（Free talk）
Ask the students three questions: 1.What do you usually do on weekends? 2.How often do you watch TV? 3.Do you like watching TV?
Ⅱ. New words
Ask the students to “watching TV” together. The students will choose the channel to learn the names of the TV shows , tell them my opinion about these TV shows and then ask them “What do you think of…?”or “How do you like…?”
Ⅲ. Activity 1a
Tell them the advantages and disadvantages about watching TV and ask them to spend less time on TV. Then do activity 1a and check the answers with them.
Ⅳ. Listening (1b)
1. Tell Ss to read the shows in the box. Make sure they know the meaning of the shows.
2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the shows1-4. Check the answers with the Ss. Ⅴ. Pair work
1. Let Ss look at the screen. Then complete the sentences by heart.
2. Let Ss practice with their partners.
3. Let some pairs ask and answer about the shows.

今天我说课的内容是：八年级上册Unit5 Section A 1a-2c 的内容。
下面我就通过解读新课标，分析教材，认知学情来设计我的教学过程，并在教学过程中渗透教法，指导学法。
对于八年级的学生，新课标要求达到义务教育阶段的四级目标，结合本节课的内容，具体要求学生学会用情态动词can向别人提出邀请及礼貌地拒绝或接受别人的邀请。
一、说教材1.教材的地位与作用在新课标的指导下我对教材这样分析：本单元围绕邀请这一中心话题，学生学习如何用内容与学生的生活紧密相关，集生活性、趣味性于一体，能够激发学生较大的交流欲望。
而在此之前，学生们学习了情态动词have to的用法及用现在进行时表将来的结构来计划自己的活动，这为本节课学习如何拒绝邀请作好了铺垫。
而本节课作为本单元的第一课时为后面的教学提供了话题和语境，在一定程度上起承上启下的作用。
2.教学目标·《课程标准》强调知识与技能，过程与方法，情感态度与价值观三个角度的有机结合，因此，在新课标的指导下，基于对教材内容的分析，我将对教学目标从以下三个方面来概括：1)知识与技能：a)掌握词汇lesson，another，concert.b)掌握句型：---Can you come to my party---- Sure, I’d love to.I’m sorry,I can’t. I have to help my mom.I’m playing soccer.c)能听懂有关邀请这一话题的谈话，并能从中提取信息。
