三、学情分析学生对梦的话题应该有比较多的经历和想法，贴近生活实际。
语法上，学生已经在前两个单元学习并运用了一般过去时来描述过去的事；而本文的重点句子There was/ were...描述在某个地方或者时间有某事物，也在本单元第一课时重点学习过，有一定的基础。
因此，本课的内容对于学生来说不难理解。
难点主要在本课生词的认读和文后的书写活动。
因为学生的拼读能力和表达能力还不强。
四、教学内容分析本节课是阅读课型，以“梦”为主题，谈论吴一凡的梦和学生自己的梦。
设计了以阅读理解练习为主，朗读、听写、口头表达、书面写作的辅助练习。
并引导学生使用阅读策略，提高阅读理解能力和语言的综合运用能力。
本节内容分为读、写两部分：第一部分要求学生先完成读前活动，然后阅读描述吴一凡梦境的文段并完成读后为图排序及填充对话的任务；第二部分为语境下的书写活动：记述自己的一个梦。
本短文有一定的难度，因为短文中有不少生词，学生在认读和句子理解上会遇到不少困难。
此外，文后的书写活动对学生来说也是一个难点，学生的表达能力还是个弱项。

一个学生在台上做动作，小组合作排序，比一比哪个小组排得又快又准。
(2)同桌二人运用所给的动词短语，运用过去时和现在时的对比描述来写出变化。
如:“couldn’t run very fast before. Now，I run like a cheetah. ”“I was so short that I couldn’t go cycling but I go cycling every day now. ”Step2：Presentation(1)组织学生快速阅读这三个自然段，并排出图片顺序。
(2) 学生精读短文，理解短文大意，并根据上下文理解“race”“nothing”“thought”“felt”“cheetah”“dream”的意思。
(3)教师点拨重难点句子。
A. There was nothing he could do.他什么也做不了。
B. His father ran very fast，but Wu Yifan could not.后半句省略，引导学生理解句意。
(4)小组讨论，并合作理解短文，将短文表演出来，可以一人读旁白，其余的组员饰演Wu Yifan，his dad，Max，other animals等。

先让学生说说单词的意思，再回答问题。
