家长会英语学习优秀的家长发言稿简短

家长会英语学习优秀的家长发言稿简短全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dear Parents,I'm honored to have the opportunity to speak to all of you today about my experience learning English. As a student who has excelled in English classes, I know firsthand how valuable this skill is and the doors it can open. Let me share my journey with you in hopes that it may inspire your own children's English learning.Like many of you, my parents did not speak English fluently at home. We only spoke our native language. However, my parents valued education deeply and wanted to give me every opportunity they could. From a young age, they enrolled me in after-school English classes and hired tutors to work with me at home.I'll be honest - at first I resisted. Learning a new language felt tedious and pointless when everyone around me spoke the same language. Why did I need to learn English? My parents remainedfirm, recognizing that English proficiency would be a key advantage in our increasingly connected world. In those early years, English lessons felt like a chore. I memorized vocabulary lists and grammar rules by rote. But then something shifted. My tutors started incorporating more immersive activities - reading children's books, watching cartoons and singing songs in English. Slowly, the language came alive for me. I wasn't just memorizing words, but using them to communicate real ideas and narratives. As I gained confidence, we added more challenging activities like journal writing, oral presentations and debates. Each new endeavor pushed me toward higher fluency. I'm grateful my parents advocated for this additive, immersive approach rather than focusing solely on tests and drills. My hard work paid off as I entered higher levels of schooling. With my strong English base, I could engage with more difficult texts, literature and academic content in a way many of my classmates could not. This opened up a world of resources and learning that my peers missed out on.But English also became a passion and creative outlet for me, not just an academic subject. I joined the English drama club, entered poetry and storytelling competitions, and even started ablog to practice my written expression. These experiences allowed me to make English my own.One of the biggest benefits has been the window to other cultures that English opened for me. By mastering this global lingua franca, I could access media, books, online communities and perspectives from around the world. My worldview expanded tremendously. When I eventually traveled abroad, English allowed me to connect with locals and immerse myself fully. Now, as I prepare for college applications and my future career, I'm so thankful for the English skills that will give me a competitive advantage. Communicating across languages, cultures and contexts is simply essential in our globalized era. Doors have opened for me that would likely have remained closed without English fluency. To all the parents here today, I encourage you to make your child's English education a priority from an early age, as my parents did for me. Look for immersive programs, tutors who use interactive methods, and opportunities for your child to use English in creative, engaging ways. Be patient and consistent - there may be frustrations at first, but emerging bilingual capacity is one of the most valuable gifts you can provide.I'm living proof of the opportunities and perspectives that will unfold for a young person who puts in the hard work of English mastery. It's an effort that keeps paying dividends, transcending just academics to shape one's entire worldview and path. I hope sharing my journey today will inspire you to equip your children with the same transformative skills.Thank you, and I wish all of your families the very best on this important language learning journey.篇2Dear Teachers, Parents, and Fellow Students,First off, I want to thank the organizers for giving me the opportunity to speak today about my experience learning English. It's a real privilege to be able to share my insights and journey with all of you.As we all know, English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. It has become the lingua franca of international business, science, technology, and many other fields. Being proficient in English opens up countless doors and opportunities in our increasingly globalized world. For me, the journey to English fluency began at a very young age. My parents recognized the importance of English early onand made it a priority in our household. From watching educational shows and movies in English to reading books and playing language games together, English was always present and encouraged.I vividly remember the day I had my first real English conversation. I was about 6 years old, and we had a visitor from the United States. Despite my initial shyness, I mustered up the courage to greet them and introduce myself in English. The smile on their face and the look of pleasant surprise is a memory that has stuck with me to this day. It made me feel proud and motivated me to continue improving.Of course, the road to English proficiency wasn't always easy. There were times when I felt frustrated with the complexities of grammar rules, idiomatic expressions, and pronunciation nuances. However, my parents were incredibly supportive and patient, always encouraging me to keep practicing and not get discouraged. One of the key strategies they employed was immersing me in English-language materials and environments as much as possible. We watched movies and shows in English, listened to English music, and even tried to have conversations in English at home whenever we could. This constant exposure helped mybrain to absorb the language naturally, much like how children acquire their native tongues.Another invaluable resource was attending English classes and camps during school breaks. These intensive programs allowed me to practice my speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills with native instructors and classmates from around the world. The cultural exchange and diverse perspectives I encountered in these settings were priceless and broadened my horizons in ways I couldn't have imagined. As I progressed through my academic journey, English became more than just a foreign language to me – it became a tool for self-expression, a gateway to new ideas and cultures, and a means of connecting with people from all walks of life.In high school, I discovered a passion for literature and creative writing, and English became the medium through which I could explore these interests篇3Respected teachers, dear parents, and my wonderful classmates.First of all, I want to express my deepest gratitude for this incredible honor of having my parents recognized today for theiroutstanding support of my English education. Learning a new language is never easy, but with the unwavering encouragement and guidance from my mom and dad, the challenges seemed just a bit more manageable.I still vividly remember my first English lesson back in kindergarten. It was a whole new world of strange sounds and bizarre squiggles on the whiteboard that made absolutely no sense to my five-year-old brain. I was instantly intimidated and wanted nothing to do with this perplexing new subject. However, my parents recognized my apprehension and did everything they could to make me feel at ease.Instead of forcing me to plow through vocabulary lists and grammar drills, they made learning English a fun, engaging experience. We would spend our evenings going over the day's lessons through silly stories, songs, and games tailored specifically for my interests. My mom would write the most delightfully ridiculous short tales incorporating all the new words and grammar concepts I struggled with, basically creating my very own "learn English through laughter" curriculum. And my dad? Well, he took on a more theatrical approach. Putting on accents and acting out dialogues from my textbooks, he would have my brother and I doubling over in fits of giggles.Yet, amidst all the silliness, I was unknowingly internalizing proper pronunciation and conversational patterns. It's no wonder English quickly became my favorite subject – my parents had transformed it into an evening of fun and bonding rather than an academic chore. As I progressed through the grades, the complexity of the English lessons increased exponentially. However, my parents' commitment and innovative teaching methods adapted right along with me. We explored great works of English literature through dramatic readings and in-depth discussions, discovering profound life lessons hidden within the beautiful poetry and prose. My analytical skills were sharpened as I learned to dissect the layers of meaning and symbolism interwoven into the tapestry of words by literary masters. My writing abilities were honed through family writing workshops, where we would spend weekends holed up with pconcept", building compelling narratives and supporting arguments from the ground up. I can still hear my mom's voice in my mind: "Show, don't tell! Use vivid details and imagery to bring your words to life." Those patient writing sessions laid the critical groundwork for the essays, research papers, and creative works that have earned me academic acclaim. And for all the late nights spent agonizing over incomprehensible Shakespeare verses or frustratingly vague essay prompts, my dad was always there to calmly talk me through the panic. With his guidance, I learned step-by-step strategies to analytically break down complex texts and writing assignments into approachable components. Each triumph over literary mystery only further ignited my passion for English. My parents' impactful role in nurturing my English abilities extended well beyond our home. They were fixtures at every parent-teacher conference, school play, debate tournament –you name it. Wherever an opportunity arose for them to demonstrate their fervent support and interest in my English education, they were present andnvolved. Teachers frequently commended their enthusiasm and offered invaluable advice to enhance our at-home curriculum. In retrospect, my parents' true genius lies in how they imparted the tools and self-motivated mindset essential for English mastery, while simultaneously instilling in me a deep appreciation for the richness of language and literature. Their unwavering support taught me that academic achievement bears its greatest fruits when pursued with genuine passion and engagement, not merely as a means to an end. Today, Englishis more than just an academic subject – it's a beautiful craft that allows me to precisely articulate my thoughts, to understand human experiences from perspectives spanning centuries and cultures, and to wield words with the precision of a surgeon's scalpel.I may be on the cusp of an incredibly promising future of academic and professional opportunities opened through my English fluency. However, I know wholeheartedly that none of my successes would have been possible without the extraordinary devotion of my parents in fostering my journey with the English language every step of the way. They laid the very foundation for my achievements, brick by brick – making this honor today a truly shared triumph. To my extraordinary mother and father: thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unparalleled love and commitment. You helped gift me with the miraculous power of expressing myself through the written and spoken word in ways that will continue to shape my life for decades to come. I am eternally grateful.。

1It's a great pleasure to have this opportunity to talk to you about your children's English learning in the second year of junior high school.Let me first tell you about the key points and difficulties of English learning at this stage. Grammar is a crucial part. For example, some students have made significant progress in understanding complex sentence structures like conditionals and subjunctive moods. However, there are still challenges for some in mastering irregular verb forms and the correct usage of prepositions. In terms of oral expression, many students have shown outstanding performance. Some can express their thoughts clearly and fluently in English. Also, we organize English corner activities, which provide a wonderful platform for them to enhance their oral communication. Don't you think it's a great way to boost their confidence in speaking English? However, the success of your children's English learning cannot rely solely on the efforts of the school and teachers. We need your active cooperation at home. For example, you can encourage them to read English books or watch English programs. I firmly believe that with our joint efforts, your children will achieve excellent results in English! Thank you all!3I'm very glad to have this opportunity to communicate with you about your children's English learning in the second year of junior high school.First of all, let's talk about some common problems. Many students have trouble spelling words correctly. For example, they often make mistakes in simple words like "friend" and "environment". To solve this problem, I suggest they use some memory techniques, such as making word cards or creating associations.Another issue is that some students are weak in reading comprehension. How can we help them? I recommend that they read more original English books. This can not only improve their understanding ability but also enhance their language sense. In conclusion, I believe that with our joint efforts and your support at home, your children will make great progress in English learning! It helps them review and consolidate knowledge. Isn't it amazing how this small act can make a big difference in their understanding and retention?I truly hope you can pay close attention to your children's habits. Do encourage them to keep up these good practices. Why not have regular check-ins to see how they are doing?Let's work together to help our children succeed in English andbeyond! We will be placing a stronger emphasis on English writing training. This includes regular writing exercises, detailed feedback, and model essays for reference. We believe that by doing so, your children will be better equipped to express themselves accurately and fluently in written English.I am confident that with our joint efforts and your continuous support, our students will make even greater progress in their English learning journey.

Good evening! I am honored to stand here today as a representative of the parents to address the issues concerning our eighth-grade students. As we all know, the middle school stage is a critical period for our children's growth and development. Therefore, itis essential for us, as parents, to come together and discuss ways to support and guide our children through this phase of their education. 。
Firstly, let us acknowledge the importance of effective communication between parents and teachers. As parents, we need to establish a strong partnership with the school to ensure the best educational experience for our children. Regular parent-teacher conferences and open dialogues are crucial in understanding our children's progress, strengths, and weaknesses. By working closely with the teachers, we can identify areas where our children need additional support and take necessary actions to address them. 。
