通过学习这部分内容让学生掌握听、说、读、写这四方面的能力，进而达到教育现代子女要有一颗感恩的心这一目的。三年级学生通过上册一学期的学习对基础知识已经了解，学生的总体水平比较整齐，但是个别同学理解少许困难。针对这一特点我采用了分层教学的方法，让不同程度的学生在课堂上都能参与进来，各尽所能发挥自己的能力。通过对Mother’s Day这一课的学习，要求学生掌握重点难点以及达到了解异国文化，扩展视野的目的。同时增强学生对天下父母的爱戴。
