this is not the end英语演讲Ladies and gentlemen,I stand before you today with a simple message. This is not the end. No matter how difficult, challenging, or even seemingly impossible our current situation may seem, we must remember that it is not the end.We live in a world full of uncertainty and change. Each day brings new challenges and obstacles that can threaten to defeat us. But it is in these moments that we must find the strength and courage to keep going, to persevere, and to overcome. We must remember that there are always more opportunities, more possibilities, and more chances to succeed. We may encounter setbacks and failures, but these are merely temporary setbacks on our journey. No matter what we face, we must remain optimistic, hopeful, and determined. We must remain focused on our goals and remain committed to achieving them, no matter how long it takes or how difficult the path may be.So, I urge you all to keep pushing forward, to keep striving for success, and to never give up. This is not the end - it is merely a new beginning, full of endless possibilities and opportunities. Together, we can embrace this new chapter and write a bright and hopeful future for ourselves and for those around us. Thank you.。

我最喜欢的故事英语作文80词初二

我最喜欢的故事英语作文80词初二全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite StoryEveryone has a favorite story from when they were a little kid. For me, that story is "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. I can still picture the battered old copy with the furry green monster on the cover that I would beg my mom to read to me over and over again at bedtime. The story is about a boy named Max who gets in trouble for being naughty and is sent to his room without dinner. But instead of just sitting there bored, Max's wonderful imagination takes over. His room transforms into a jungle, and an ocean appears with a tiny boat that Max can sail away in. He ends up on the land of the Wild Things - huge, scary-looking monsters with giant teeth and horns and yellow eyes. But Max isn't afraid. In fact, he becomes the king of the Wild Things! They have a "wild rumpus" and gnash their teeth and roll around. It's every kid's dream to be able to run around like amaniac with no adults telling you what to do. For a while, Max gets to be totally free and in charge.Eventually though, Max starts feeling lonely and homesick. He smells something delicious - his dinner, still hot, waiting for him back home. So with a magic trick, he turns the Wild Things' screams into sad sighs and sails back to the real world, where his room and his supper are right where he left them.I think the reason this story resonated with me so much as a kid is because it tapped into the big feelings and wild imagination that little kids have. When you're small, your emotions can seem huge and scary, like the Wild Things. You want more independence than adults are willing to give you. But at the same time, you still crave the comfort and security of home and family. The story validates both of those opposite impulses in a really vivid, fun way.The illustrations are amazing too - Sendak's quirky, scribbly drawings of the Strange creatures Max encounters are both a little bit terrifying and incredibly cool at the same time. As a kid, I spent hours poring over those pages, making up backstories for each Wild Thing. These days, I don't need to be read bedtime stories anymore. But I'll always have a soft spot for "Where the Wild Things Are."It's a celebration of childish mischief and fertile imaginations. It reminds me of the unbridled energy and strong emotions that came so naturally when I was little. Most of all, it brings back warm memories of heading off on make-believe adventures, then coming back to the place I felt most safe and loved - my mom's arms as she closed the book one more time. Some stories just stick with you forever, and this one is mine.篇2My Favorite StoryI absolutely love the story of Harry Potter! It's my all-time favorite book series and I've read the whole thing like a bazillion times. I'm going to tell you all about it and why I love it so much.So Harry Potter is this kid who lives with his mean aunt and uncle because his parents died when he was a baby. On his 11th birthday, he finds out he's actually a wizard! A giant named Hagrid comes and tells him all about the wizarding world and takes him to buy his school supplies in Diagon Alley. It's this super cool place with cauldron shops, owl emporiums, and wands made of wood with unicorn hair cores and stuff.Harry goes off to Hogwarts, which is a school for witches and wizards. The castle is humongous with moving staircases, talkingpaintings, and ghosts floating around. Harry gets sorted into Gryffindor house and makes two best friends, Ron and Hermione. Ron comes from an all-wizard family and Hermione is a Muggle-born, which means she has non-magic parents. In their first year, they find out that someone is trying to steal the Sorcerer's Stone, which can give immortality to the person who possesses it. After getting through a bunch of obstacles like a life-size wizard's chess game and a killer plant, they discover that it's Professor Quirrell who's been trying to get the stone for his master, the evil Lord Voldemort. Voldemort is basically the worst dark wizard ever and he killed Harry's parents. There's an epic battle but good triumphs over evil. The next few books are just as awesome. In the second one, the Chamber of Secrets is opened and a basilisk is set loose to attack Muggle-borns. Dobby is introduced who quickly becomes one of my favorite characters - he's a house elf with huge eyes and floppy ears who has been freed by Harry. In the third book, Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban prison and everyone thinks he's coming after Harry, but you find out he's actually innocent and is Harry's godfather. And Hermione gets a cool Time Turner that lets her go back in time!My absolute favorite book is the fourth one, the Goblet of Fire. The Triwizard Tournament is happening at Hogwarts where students from three schools compete in three deadly tasks. Only students over 17 are supposed to enter their name but somehow Harry's name gets chosen at 14! It's so intense with Harry having to get past a dragon, rescue his friends from the Black Lake with mer-people, and navigate a hugeeee maze with all these obstacles. The final task is so crazy and that's when we finally see Voldemort return. It gives me chills every time! The fifth book deals with the Ministry of Magic not believing that Voldemort is really back. A rebellion starts forming against him led by an secret group called the Order of the Phoenix. We get to explore more of the wizarding world like the Ministry itself and St. Mungo's Hospital. In the sixth book, we learn more about Voldemort's background through memories from different people who knew him. And we finally get to see harry really take charge and lead Dumbledore's Army. The last book is an emotional rollercoaster. Harry, Ron and Hermione have to go on a super dangerous quest to find an篇3My Favorite StoryHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm in 7th grade. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite story of all time - Harry Potter! I just love those books so much. They take me on the most amazing adventures to a world of magic and wizards and creatures beyond your wildest dreams. I can't get enough of them!I first discovered Harry Potter when I was 8 years old. My mom got me the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, for my birthday. At first I wasn't sure about it because the book was pretty thick. But as soon as I started reading, I was hooked! The story pulls you right in from the very first chapter. It all starts with Harry as a little baby whose parents were killed by the evil Lord Voldemort. Harry miraculously survives and gets sent to live with his mean aunt and uncle who treat him terribly. On his 11th birthday, Harry finds out he's actually a wizard! A giant named Hagrid comes and rescues him from the Dursleys and tells him all about the wizarding world and Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. From there, Harry's adventures just get wilder and wilder. He goes off to Hogwarts castle, makes two best friends named Ron and Hermione, learns all about magic and casting spells, and has to take on the evil Voldemort again and again. There are trolls, dragons, unicorns, ghosts, awesome wizard candy and so much more! Every book is filled with incredible twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat.My favorite parts are the big exciting events at Hogwarts like the Triwizard Tournament, the Yule Ball dance, and of course the epic wizarding duels between Harry and Voldemort. But I also love all the little details that make the world feel so real and alive - things like the moving staircases and talking paintings at Hogwarts, the different wizard candies like Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, and all the unique wizarding laws and traditions. The characters are what really make the stories for me though. Harry is such a brave, loyal hero that you can't help but root for. Ron makes me laugh with his hilarious one-liners. Hermione is the awesome brainy girl who gets things done. And the professors at Hogwarts like Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape are so cool and mysterious. By the end of the series, you feel like you really know them all inside and out.I have to say, the Harry Potter books are pure magic from start to finish. J.K. Rowling created such a rich, imaginative universe that feels totally real when you're reading it. I've read the entire series like 5 times already and I never get tired of it!Every time I pick up one of those books, I get transported away from the real world to a charming land of magic, friendship and never-ending thrills and danger.Harry Potter isn't just a book series for me - it's a second home I can return to again and again. The story makes me feel brave, curious, excited, and ready to take on any challenge that comes my way, just like Harry does. It's a constant source of joy, adventure and inspiration in my life. I'm forever grateful to J.K. Rowling for creating this iconic tale that has brought so much happiness to me and millions of other fans worldwide. If you somehow haven't read Harry Potter yet, do yourself a favor and start reading it right now! Trust me, you'll get every bit as obsessed with it as I am. There's a reason it's one of the most popular book series ever written. It's a true classic that will capture your heart and your imagination like nothing else. Once you enter the wizarding world, you'll never want to leave!篇4My Favorite Story - The Lord of the RingsYou're probably thinking, "Isn't The Lord of the Rings just a bunch of boring old books?" But let me tell you, those books are actually the coolest fantasy adventure ever written! I'mcompletely obsessed with the epic tale of hobbits, wizards, elves, and the struggle against the evil Dark Lord Sauron. It all starts out with this little hobbit named Frodo who has to take this powerful ring and destroy it before Sauron gets it. Doesn't sound too exciting at first, but just wait. Frodo gets helped by his loyal hobbit friends Sam, Merry and Pippin. They're such a great squad - Sam is the brave one, Merry and Pippin are the funny goofballs. Then they meet up with humans like Aragorn, who's actually a long-lost king. And Gandalf the wizard who battles the evil wizards and monsters. Oh and let's not forget the elves like Legolas - he's an amazing archer and fighter. And Gimli the dwarf is crazy tough too despite being so small.Their journey takes them across all these incredible places in Middle-earth. The peaceful Shire where the hobbits live. The haunting mines of Moria where they battle a terrifying ancient beast. The majesty of the elven kingdoms like Rivendell and Lothlorien. Across vast plains and mountains while being hunted by the Ringwraiths and Saruman's armies of orcs. There's just constant adventure and danger around every corner. Whether it's a battle against armies of orcs, or being attacked by the giant spider Shelob, or suffering treachery fromfigures like Wormtongue and Saruman. Frodo and the fellowship are incredibly brave to keep pushing forward on their quest despite how scary everything is.And the battle scenes are un-freaking-believable! When they lay siege to Sauron's domain of Mordor and the massive battle happens at the Black Gate, I was on the edge of my seat. Or the epic fight at Helm's Deep where they defend the fortress against 10,000 Uruk-hai warriors - I had chills!Even though there's so much action and adventure, the storytelling is so rich too. You learn about all the different races and cultures. The tragic history of Sauron's rise to power. The noble legacy of Númenor. The different kinds of epic heroes like Boromir, Faramir and King Théoden. Not to mention all the poems, songs and linguistic details about elvish languages that Tolkien invented.Overall, The Lord of the Rings isn't just some childish fantasy book. It's an unbelievably deep and inspired work of fiction. An entire world and struggle for the fate of the free peoples of Middle-earth against the abyss of darkness. Frodo and the Fellowship's quest truly feels like an epic journey you experience right alongside them from start to finish.I've read the books like ten times and I still get completely absorbed every time. Whenever I'm feeling down, diving into the world of hobbits, elves and wizards always lifts my spirits. The Lord of the Rings is the ultimate escape into a realm of high adventure, sacrifice and heroism. In my mind, it's simply the greatest fantasy story ever told.篇5My Favorite Story: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's StoneMy favorite story is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling. It's about an orphan boy who finds out he's a wizard on his 11th birthday. He goes to a magic school called Hogwarts and makes friends Ron and Hermione. They go on an exciting adventure to stop the evil wizard Voldemort from getting the powerful Sorcerer's Stone. I love the magic, the characters, and how good triumphs over evil in this thrilling fantasy tale. It's an imaginative book that sparks your creativity.篇6My Favorite StoryI absolutely love the book "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling. It's my favorite story of all time! I've read it like a gazillion times and I never get tired of it.The book is about this 11-year-old boy named Harry Potter who finds out he's actually a wizard. Can you believe that? A real life wizard! He gets invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and learns all about magic and stuff. At first, Harry doesn't know anything about the wizarding world because he was raised by his mean aunt and uncle who are Muggles (non-magic people). They treat him super badly and make him live in a tiny cupboard under the stairs. It's so unfair! But then on his 11th birthday, Harry gets letters from Hogwarts telling him he's a wizard. His aunt and uncle flip out and try to stop him from reading the letters. They move houses and everything trying to escape the letters! It's hilarious when the letters start coming down the chimney. Finally, this gigantic guy named Hagrid shows up and rescues Harry. Hagrid tells him all about Hogwarts and Harry's parents who were a witch and wizard. He also finds out that his parents were killed by an evil wizard named Voldemort when Harry was just a baby. So crazy! When Harry gets to Hogwarts, he makes two best friends named Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ron comes from a huge wizarding family and Hermione was born to non-wizard parents. At school, they go to classes to learn charms, potions, herbology, and all sorts of magical subjects. But things start to get really interesting when Harry finds out that someone is trying to steal the Sorcerer's Stone from Hogwarts. The Sorcerer's Stone can give the owner immortality and a lot of people want to get their hands on it, including the evil Voldemort!Harry, Ron and Hermione have to use all their magical skills to try and stop the bad guys from getting the stone. There are three-headed dog guardians, deadly plant tentacles, and flying key challenges they have to get through. My heart was pounding during those scenes! In the end (spoiler alert!) Harry and his friends are able to stop Voldemort from getting the stone. Harry ends up being a huge hero and everything is saved thanks to the power of friendship, courage and magic. Phew!I love "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" because it has such an imaginative world of witches, wizards, magical creatures and spells. The characters are so well-developed too - I wantHarry, Ron and Hermione to be my best friends! The book is also filled with creative plots, funny moments, and teachings about the importance of loyalty and standing up against evil.Whenever I'm reading this book, I'm transported to the wizarding world right along with Harry. I can picture myself going to classes at Hogwarts, playing Quidditch on broomsticks, and sipping butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks tavern. J.K. Rowling's descriptive writing makes you feel like you're really there! If you haven't read "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" yet, you are seriously missing out. Do yourself a favor and dive into the magical world - you'll never want to leave! This book sparked my lifelong love of reading and imagination. Ten out of ten, would recommend to absolutely everyone!。

关于走进自然的公园郊游活动的英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Fun Day at Willow Creek Nature ParkLast Saturday was one of the most fun and exciting days I've had all year! My class went on a field trip to Willow Creek Nature Park. I had been looking forward to this trip for weeks. We all met at school early in the morning and boarded a big yellow bus. The ride took almost an hour, but it didn't feel that long because we were all chatting and laughing with our friends. When we finally arrived, I could hardly sit still I was so eager to explore the park. Our teacher, Mrs. Johnson, divided us into small groups, each led by a park ranger. My group's ranger was named Jake. He was a friendly college student who really knew a lot about nature and animals. The first thing we did was hike along one of the wooded trails. Jake pointed out all kinds of interesting plants, trees, birds, and animal tracks along the way. We saw bright red cardinals, scampering squirrels, and even a deer peeking out from behind a fallen log! I tried to be very quiet so I wouldn't scare away the wildlife. After our hike, we had a picnic lunch in a grassy meadow. They provided a lunch bag for each of us filled with a sandwich, apple slices, carrot sticks, a cookie, and a juice box. It was a beautiful sunny day and we all ran around chasing each other when we had finished eating. Then it was time for the part I had been most looking forward to - exploring the creek! Jake led us to a shallow portion where we could carefully walk right into the water. I rolled up my pant legs and took off my socks and shoes. The creek bottom was rocky but not too slippery. The water was freezing cold at first, but it felt wonderful as the day had turned quite warm.Jake showed us how to carefully lift up rocks to see what creatures might be lurching underneath. We found all sorts of cool critters - crayfish, minnows, water striders, and insects I didn't even know the names of. At one point, I felt something weird squirming in the water around my feet. I scooped it up with my hands and it was a giant waterbug! I gasped and dropped it, but thankfully it didn't bite me.After creek exploration, Jake took us to a large flat rock where we could search for fossils. He gave each of us a small brush to carefully brush away the dirt and debris. I was absolutely amazed when I found an imprint of what looked like an ancient fern leaf! I could hardly believe these fossils were over 300 million years old. I got to keep my fossil as a souvenir. On the bus ride home, I was exhausted but felt so happy and grateful that I got to experience a day in nature like that. Willow Creek was like nothing I had ever seen before. There were so many interesting plants, animals, and geology that you just can't find in the city. When we got back to school, my mom was waiting to pick me up. I excitedly told her all about the deer, the creek critters, and my fossil. I think she was surprised I had learned and seen so much in just one day. She said she was proud of me for being so interested and curious about the natural world around me.That field trip to Willow Creek Nature Park is a memory I will never forget. I have a new appreciation for the outdoors and all the secrets and treasures awaiting us when we take the time to explore. I can't wait until I'm old enough to become a park ranger myself! Maybe I'll even get to lead field trips for futureclasses. I'm so grateful to Mrs. Johnson and Willow Creek for opening my eyes to the beauty and magic of nature.篇2A Wonderful Day at Willow Creek Nature ParkLast Saturday was the best day ever! My class went on a field trip to Willow Creek Nature Park. I was so excited because I love being outdoors and learning about animals and plants. We took a bus to get there and I could barely sit still on the drive. When we arrived, a park ranger named Mrs. Jenkins greeted us. She had on a big hat and boots and a badge that said "Park Ranger." She seemed really nice but also very serious about the rules. "Stay on the trails, don't litter, and don't feed the animals," she told us sternly. I nodded my head to show I would be good.First, we went on a nature hike along the Creek Trail. The trail was surrounded by tall trees with twisted branches reaching up to the sky. The leaves crunched under our feet as we walked. Mrs. Jenkins stopped a lot to point out different plants and animal habitats. I saw a squirrel darting through the trees, frantically collecting acorns. I also spotted a bright red cardinal singing from a branch. It's feathers were so vibrant! We came to a little bridge that crossed over a bubbling stream. The water looked crisp and clean. "This stream is called Willow Creek," Mrs. Jenkins explained. "It's home to all sorts of fish, frogs, turtles, and other creek critters." I peered over the edge hoping to see some, but the current was moving too swiftly.Next, we headed to the Meadow Loop trail which curved through a wide open field dotted with wildflowers. Butterflies danced from bloom to bloom. I took a deep breath, inhaling the sweet floral scents. We sat down on the grass and Mrs. Jenkins passed around guides to identify different flower species. My favorite was the bright orange butterfly milkweed. Such a fun name! After our flower exploration, we had a picnic lunch on the lawn near the park's Nature Center building. My friend Jasmine and I played a game of tag, running around and around until we were both laughing and out of breath. I felt so free! Then it was time for the best part - meeting the park's animal ambassadors! We went inside the Nature Center where a few rescue animals are cared for. First, we met Samson, a great horned owl. His huge eyes blinked at us as he turned his head ina circle. "Remarkable hunters," Mrs. Jenkins told us. We learned Samson can't be released due to an injured wing.Next up was Tulip, a beautiful box turtle. She slowly peeked out from her shell as we sat in a circle around her. Tulip's favorite snacks are worms and slugs! I probably wouldn't want to share a salad with her.The last animal was Buckley, a friendly opossum. He had a long pointy nose and grabbed treats with his long tail and front paws. Opossums are North America's only marsupial, carrying babies in their pouch like kangaroos. Buckley was so cute and silly looking! On the bus ride back to school, I was grinning from ear to ear. I had learned so much and spent the whole day appreciating the wonders of nature. My favorite parts were seeing the vibrant cardinal, the beautiful wildflowers, and all the awesome animal ambassadors. Tulip the turtle was probably the cutest.I'm already counting down until our next class field trip! Where will we go - the aquarium, the science museum, the planetarium? I can't wait for another fun-filled day of discovering new things. I feel so lucky to have teachers and parents who set up these great learning experiences for me. I'll never forget my marvelous day at Willow Creek Nature Park!篇3A Fun Day at Riverside Nature ParkLast Saturday, my class went on a field trip to Riverside Nature Park. I was so excited because I love being outdoors and learning about plants and animals. We took a bus to get there and I could hardly sit still on the ride over! When we arrived, a park ranger named Mrs. Garcia met us. She was very nice and had a big smile on her face. "Welcome to Riverside Nature Park, boys and girls!" she said. "Today you're going to get to explore the great outdoors and see all the wonderful plants and critters that live here."First, Mrs. Garcia took us on a nature hike along one of the trails. The trail went through the woods and along a pretty stream. Mrs. Garcia stopped a lot to point out different types of trees, flowers, birds, and other wildlife. I saw a blue jay, a squirrel scampering up a tree trunk, and even a deer peeking out from behind some bushes! We learned that different trees have different types of leaves and bark. Some were thick and solid while others were thin and papery. The oak tree has little acorns that squirrels eat. I picked up a pinecone from a pine tree and got to take it home with me.Mrs. Garcia said trees are really important because they make oxygen for us to breathe and homes for many animals. My favorite were the wildflowers growing along the trail. I saw bright yellow dandelions, delicate little violets, and these really cool red flowers that looked like trumpets called fire pinks. Mrs. Garcia taught us that butterflies and bees love flowers because they can drink nectar, which is like a sugary snack, from inside the colorful blooms. Without bees and butterflies, many flowering plants wouldn't be able to reproduce. Isn't that neat? After our hike, we had a picnic lunch near the duck pond. It was fun feeding the ducks bits of bread and crackers. They waddled right up to us, quacking away. Be careful though, some of them got a little greedy and tried to nip my fingers! We also spotted a great blue heron standing perfectly still in the shallow water, waiting to catch a fishy snack.Next up was my favorite part - the nature center! This was an awesome building full of all kinds of displays about wildlife. They had huge tanks with turtles, snakes, frogs, and salamanders inside. We even got to touch one of the snakes! His scales felt really smooth and dry. There were stuffed animals showing mammals like skunks, foxes, beavers, and more. I liked the beaver the best because it had huge buck teeth. They also had lots of exhibits about insects like ants, crickets, ladybugs, and praying mantises. The praying mantis is one crazy looking bug! Mrs. Garcia showed us the life cycle of how a caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly in a chrysalis. She passed around some real chrysalises and bird nests for us to check out. After the nature center, we did a fun scavenger hunt around the park's garden area looking for things like pine cones, acorns, specific leaf shapes, and bird feathers. My team found a blue feather, a big maple leaf, and an acorn cap. The garden had all kinds of yummy fruits and veggies too like tomatoes, strawberries, snap peas, and carrots. I tried a baby tomato and it tasted so fresh! On the way back to the bus, we stopped at the park's little farm area. They had goats, chickens, pigs, and a cow. We got to pet and brush the goats, which was really cool. Their fur felt so soft and cute! The chickens were running around clucking up a storm. Those pigs were pigging out on their slop, making loud snorting noises. I've never been that close to a cow before - they're huge! After a long, fun-filled day, we headed back to school on the bus. I was worn out but so happy. Riverside Nature Park is anawesome place to learn about the outdoors. I saw so many amazing plants and critters. I can't wait to go back again soon!篇4A Fun Day at Warbler Woods Nature ParkLast Saturday, my class went on a field trip to Warbler Woods Nature Park. I was so excited because I love being outdoors and learning about plants and animals. The park is huge, with lots of hiking trails, ponds, and forests to explore. Our teachers told us we would get to see all kinds of cool things! We left school right after morning assembly and rode buses to the park. It took almost an hour to get there. As soon as we arrived, I could smell the fresh air and hear birds chirping everywhere. The park rangers met us and divided us into small groups with one ranger for each group. My group's ranger was named Jake. He was really nice and knew a ton about nature. The first thing he showed us was how to use binoculars to look at birds up in the trees. He helped me focus the binoculars and I saw a bright red cardinal perched on a branch. Its feathers were so vivid! Then we headed out on the Bluebird Trail, which looped around a pretty meadow. Jake stopped along the way to point out different kinds of butterflies, wildflowers, and other cool plants. He let us gently touch the soft leaves and smell the sweet flowers. I loved the bright yellows, purples, and oranges of the flowers. We also saw some deer munching on leaves in the distance! Jake said does with fawns often come to the meadow because it's a safe place. The little spotted fawns were so adorable. We all had to be very quiet so we didn't scare them away. After hiking the loop, Jake took us off the trail a bit to sit beside a bubbling brook. He showed us how to look under rocks in the water for caddisfly larva cases. I found one that looked like a tiny log cabin made of twigs and pebbles. So neat! For lunch, we had a picnic beside Willow Pond. I'd brought a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, an apple, and a chocolate chip cookie. While we ate, Jake told us all about the huge willow trees around the pond. He said the dangling branches used to sweep the ground before park staff trimmed them up. Kids would actually play inside the curtains of leaves as a hideout! After lunch, we went swimming in Willow Pond. The water was cool but not too cold. Our class played tons of games likeMarco Polo, beach ball baseball, and plastic duck races. I didn't want to get out when our swimming time was over! Before we had to leave, Jake let us go to the Nature Center to see their huge boa constrictor snake and other animal exhibits. The boa was very slowly sliding around its branches in the tank. Its scales were bright reddish browns and blacks in an amazing pattern. I'd never been that close to a snake that big before! On the bus ride back to school, I looked through all the pictures I had taken on my camera. I had captured shots of the butterflies and wildflowers, the deer grazing in the meadow, the sun sparkling on the pond, and all my friends' smiling faces. The day had been incredible. When we got back, I told my parents all about the birds, animals, plants, and fun I had experienced. They agreed that Warbler Woods seemed like an amazing place to learn about nature up close. I'm so lucky my class got to go on a field trip there. I can't wait until our next outdoor adventure!篇5A Fun Day at Woodland ParkLast Saturday was the best day ever! Our class went on a field trip to Woodland Park. I was so excited because I love being outdoors and going on adventures. We left school at 9am and rode buses to the park. It took almost an hour to get there. On the way, we passed lots of houses, stores, and traffic. But when we finally arrived at the park, it was like entering a completely different world.Woodland Park is huge, with tons of trees, trails, ponds, and wide open grassy areas. As soon as we got off the buses, I could smell the fresh air and hear all kinds of birds chirping. The sky was bright blue without a single cloud. My teacher told us we were so lucky to have such beautiful weather for our field trip. After going over the rules and buddy system, we headed out on the main trail. Even though there were 60 kids from our class, it wasn't crowded at all in the park. We spread out and I got to walk alongside my best friend Jake. The trail was nice and wide, with wood chips covering the ground. We walked past so many tall oak, maple, and pine trees. Their branches stretched out overour heads, providing spots of cool shade. My favorite were the pines because their needles gave off an amazing fresh scent. To the left of the trail was a babbling brook. We stopped to check it out and saw hundreds of tiny minnows swimming together. The water was so clear, we could see every rock at the bottom. A few kids tried catching the minnows with their hands but they were too fast!Next we came across a huge field full of wildflowers. Our teacher said we could go off the trail and explore, as long as we stayed where she could see us. Jake and I ran straight into the middle of the field. The grass and flowers came up to my waist! We carefully made our way through, being careful not to step on any of the yellow dandelions or purple violets. After rolling around in the soft grass for a while, we rejoined the trail. Up ahead, we noticed a wooden bridge going over the stream. One by one, we each got to walk across it. The bridge seemed very long and high up when you were standing in the middle. I felt like a troll guarding the stream below! The trail started going uphill after that, winding through some rockier areas. We had to watch our step more carefully but I didn't mind. I liked climbing over the rocks and tree roots that stuck out of the ground. A few kids fell and got a little muddy, but they were having just as much fun as the rest of us.Finally, we arrived at Spring Pond. This was the last stop on our trail and where we would eat our lunch. Spring Pond was beautiful, with crystal clear blue water. Our teacher said it was fed by an underground spring. We sat down on the grassy bank to eat our sandwiches and snacks. The ducks and geese that called the pond home came right up to us, hoping we would share! After lunch, we had some free time to explore around the pond. Jake and I found a family of frogs sunbathing on a warm rock. We watched them for bit and tried our best to sneak up and get a closer look without scaring them into the water. Those frogs could really jump far!Eventually it was time to start heading back to meet the buses. I felt sad that our fun day was coming to an end. On the walk back, we passed through the meadow and wildflower field again. This time, I paid extra close attention, trying to commit every sight and smell to memory. I knew it would be many months until our class could come back to Woodland Park. When we finally made it back to the parking lot, we were one of the last groups to arrive. My face was probably looking a little red from being out in the sun all day. My shoes were caked withmud and my shirt had some grass stains. But I didn't mind one bit. It's proof of what an awesome outdoor adventure I had!Once we were back on the bus, my teacher allowed us to have snacks and drinks for the ride home. I spent most of the time gazing out the window, watching the park disappear from view. I could hardly wait to tell my parents about all the cool things I saw and did at Woodland Park. Getting to spend an entire day immersed in nature's beauty was the perfect field trip. I'm already counting down the days until we can go back again!篇6A Fun Day at the Nature ParkLast Friday was one of the best days ever! Our class went on a field trip to Westwood Nature Park. I was so excited because I love being outdoors and learning about plants and animals. We left school right after lunch and rode the bus for about 30 minutes. When we arrived, a park ranger named Emily met us. She seemed really nice and told us we were going to have an awesome day exploring the park.First, we hiked along a trail through the woods. Emily stopped to show us different kinds of trees and plants. Iremembered learning about oak trees, maple trees, and ferns in science class. It was cool to see them in real life instead of just pictures in our books. As we walked, Emily said, "Keep your eyes peeled for any critters!" I was looking all around, hoping to spot a deer, rabbit, or squirrel. Suddenly, a chipmunk ran right across the trail in front of us! We all gasped and giggled when we saw its chubby cheeks stuffed with nuts or seeds. Emily told us chipmunks gather food to store for the winter when it's hard to find things to eat.Further down the trail, we came to a bubbling stream. Emily caught a tiny green frog and passed it around carefully so each of us could hold it briefly before letting it go. Its sticky toes felt so weird and cool! I was a little scared it might jump right out of my hands. After the hike, we had a picnic lunch at a big wooden pavilion. My peanut butter and jelly sandwich tasted so yummy after all that walking and fresh air. We even got to have an ice cream sandwich for dessert - yum! Then it was time for my favorite part - the nature crafts! We split into groups to make different projects. My group made bird feeders out of pine cones, peanut butter, and bird seed. We gotto take them home to hang in our yards or gardens. The birds will love the tasty treats!Another group wove bracelets and baskets from blades of grass and strips of bark. They looked so intricate and pretty. The last group used leaves, twigs, rocks and other nature items to make pictures and collages. Their art turned out beautiful. Before we left, each of us got our very own nature explorer kit containing a magnifying glass, binoculars, a small notebook, colored pencils, and a guide to identify trees, bugs, birds and other wildlife. I can't wait to use it in my backyard. On the bus ride back to school, my best friend Lily and I looked through the nature guide. We tried to find some of the cool plants and critters we had seen at the park. We also played games like I Spy and 20 Questions to pass the time. When we got back, I was tired but felt so happy and refreshed from spending the day outdoors. Mom asked what my favorite part was, and I hadto think for a minute because it was all so much fun. I decided I most enjoyed the hike and seeing the chipmunk and frog.I'm already looking forward to our next field trip or even just a weekend visit back to Westwood Nature Park. Getting outdoors and experiencing nature firsthand is way better than just reading about it in books. I hope we can go back again soon!。

Why does some land have so much growing on it, while other land has almost no plants growing on it at all?To grow, plants need several things. One is warmth. In very cold places almost nothing grows. Plants also need water. In very dry parts of the earth only a few unusual plants can grow. That’s why dry deserts everywhere are almost not covered by trees or grass.Plants must also have a place in which to put down their roots and grow. They find it difficult to grow on hard land. The town is built on hard land. The plants here have only the soil found between the cracks (缝隙)of the stones to grow in.Another thing plants must have before they can grow is food. What will happen if we try to make things grow on the sandy beach? A few plants, such as beach grass, will grow in sand, but most plants won’t. Then, each student makes his own QR code and gives it to me. So I can check their work everywhere using my computer or telephone.”The QR codes can be sent to Mr. Wang by email, QQ and WeChat. When Wang scans (扫描) his students’ QR codes, their homework appears on his phone. He finds that their homework becomes more creative (创新的), with many pictures, music and even videos.Wang’s students like the new way and think it is interesting. “We are living in the information age. Many students like to work with computers, which makes learning more fun.” said Tingting, a student of Wang’s.“The paper is not easy to keep, but the code is easy to keep and share.” Wang said. “It is worth trying to use new technology in education. Education itself is a kind of creation. I don’t want my students to fall behind the times.”However, some parents are worried. They are afraid that their children will spend too much time on computers and less time communicating with teachers. But in fact, it’s unnecessary. Students still need to look up information in books and write it down when they do their homework. They only use the code when they hand in their work, which doesn’t take them too much time. Also for teachers, it allows them to checkthe students’ work at any time. And it’s also an easy way to share homework with other students. 27.According to the passage, students can keep their homework on ________.A.WeChat B.QQ C.email D.blog(博客)28.Wang’s students think the new way is ________.A.strange B.boring C.interesting D.unnecessary29.What does “it” in Paragraph 4 refer to (指代)?A.The paper is not easy to keep. 介绍深圳 吃喝玩乐英语作文80字

介绍深圳吃喝玩乐英语作文80字全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Shenzhen: A Vibrant Melting Pot of DelightsAs a student hailing from a small town, the bustling city of Shenzhen has been an exhilarating adventure for my taste buds and my thirst for adventure. This city, once a humble fishing village, has transformed into a dynamic metropolis that seamlessly blends traditional Chinese cuisine with international flavors, offering a tantalizing array of culinary experiences.Food Odyssey: A Gastronomic ExplorationShenzhen's food scene is a kaleidoscope of flavors that cater to every palate. From the traditional Cantonese delicacies to the fiery Sichuan fare, and the mouthwatering street food stalls, the city is a gourmand's paradise. Let me take you on a gastronomic journey through the city's culinary highlights.Cantonese Delights: A Taste of TraditionNo visit to Shenzhen would be complete without savoring the authentic Cantonese cuisine. The city's proximity to HongKong has heavily influenced its culinary landscape, offering a plethora of Cantonese restaurants that showcase the region's rich culinary heritage. One of my favorite spots is the unassuming Da Ping Hao, tucked away in the bustling Luohu District. Here, you can indulge in the legendary Cantonese dim sum, with delicate steamed dumplings, succulent barbecued pork buns, and flavorful rice noodle rolls. For a more upscale dining experience, I recommend the renowned Lazy Bay Restaurant, known for its exquisite Cantonese seafood dishes and impeccable service. Their steamed live prawns with garlic and the crispy roasted chicken are simply divine.Sichuan Spice: A Fiery DelightIf you're a fan of bold and fiery flavors, Shenzhen's Sichuan restaurants will ignite your taste buds with their numbing and tingling spices.
