一、Revision
Missing game, 让学生快速说出消失的单词。
[设计意图]通过游戏的方式，可以提高学生学习英语的兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。
二、Story time
1. T: I have a new friend. It has two long ears, red eyes and a short tail. It likes jumping. Guess: Who is my friend?
Ss: Rabbit.
T: Bingo! You are right.
[设计意图]通过“猜朋友”的方式调动学生思维的积极性，自然引入故事主人公，为开始讲故事做铺垫。
2. 教师用课件呈现兔子种萝卜的图片，运用肢体语言描述图片内容，引导学生观察并理解故事背景内容。
T: Today I will tell you a story about Rabbit. Rabbit likes eating turnips. So she plants a lot of turnips and she waters them every day. She sings and dances for them. The turnips are growing and growing. They are growing bigger and bigger.
3. 教师呈现教材故事的第一张图片，与学生讨论图片内容自然引出问题，学生带着问题读故事，初步整体感知文本。
T: Look! What’s this?
S1: 萝卜。
T: Yes, it’s a turnip. What’s it like?
S2: It’s big.
T: Right. It’s a very big turnip.
T: One day, Rabbit finds a very big turnip. She wants to pull it up. She pulls and pulls. But she can’t pull it up. Who will help Rabbit pull it up? Let’s watch and answer.
学生带着问题读故事。
T: Rabbit can’t pull it up the turnip. Who will help Rabbit pull it up?
S1: Dog, Monkey, Zip.

教师根据学生的回答，把故事中人物图片张贴在黑板上。
[设计意图]根据对教材内容进行“向前延伸”，设计了兔子种萝卜、给萝卜浇水等图片，丰富故事语言背景，拓展了学生语言输入，教师利用图片、动作、表情等手段讲故事，让学生初步感知故事。
由”She can’t pull it up”提出一个主旨性问题Who will help Rabbit pull it up? 在解决问题过程中整理梳理故事人物和情节。
4. 教师出示Story time图片，引导学生看图，主要采用听、说、猜、读、演等方式开展文本教学。
让学生跟读课文，提醒学生注意模仿语音、语调。
学生分小组分角色朗读。
学生小组上台表演对话。
根据图片内容学生进行对话表演。

二、Presentation1 Read and write.1.教师出示Sarah 的图片,问学生What's Sarah like?让学生试着描述。
2.教师出示Sarah’s friends: Kate, James, Ben, Ann的画像,让学生们以小组为单位,自选一位人物进行练习。
