Lesson12 Mr.Moon’s birthday 教学设计单元及课文分析：本单元内容选自冀教版小学英语第四册第二单元，本单元的主题是Days and Months，本单元主要学习月份单词、序数词、重要节日以及描述天气状况的词汇，同时学习如何表达日期、生日、和描述天气的句子结构。
本课是本单元的最后一课，是故事课，讲述了月亮先生在很久以前没有生日，因此十二个月份争相推荐自己，并在推荐自己的过程当中，介绍了自己月份的特点。
故事课中出现的月份、天气、节日等词汇都是学生在前面的课中学过的，但本课的篇幅较长，句子多，本课对于大部分学生来说不算太难，但是对于程度差的学生还是有一定的难度的。
对于课文出现的个别的新单词，学生可以借助图片以及上下文等进行猜测和理解。
二、学情分析学生从三年级起学习英语，经过一年多的学习，已有初步的英语基础。
通过本单元前5课的学习，学生已能熟练地认读一些常见的天气、月份等词汇，能简单介绍天气的一些特征，本课的月份生日话题是与学生的日常生活息息相关的，容易激发学生的兴趣和求知欲望。
