Step 2 Revision
1、教师出示本课的单词（音标），让学生说出英文和中文词义。
2、检查预习情况，要求学生把下列短语译成汉语：come in, just right, one moment, just
a moment, come back. （督促学生做好预习，使学生养成良好的学习习惯）。
Step 3 presentation
学习read部分。
a.用表演导入，教师可以用不同的声调和语气将故事讲述下来，然后放录音两遍，要求学生仔细听，再逐句放音，学生跟读并试着译成中文。
b.学生可以较为流利地读熟故事后，要求根据挂图和关键词，逐图复述每幅图，练熟以
后再从头放一两遍录音，让学生连起来复述整个故事。
读熟后根据课文内容回答下列问题。

2.学习使用本单元重点句型及表达，掌握句型：How many girls are there in Class Two?There are twenty-three.3.能理解和掌握how many 与there be 句型的根本用法，并能用替换词造句。
【能力目标】阅读能够理解课文大意，并能答复与课文内容有关的问题并能根据图片及关键词进行复述。
【情感目标】鼓励学生大胆发言及表达，培养学生对英语学科的兴趣。
【教学重点】能理解和掌握how many 与there be 句型的根本用法并能用替换词造句。
【教学难点】能够理解并熟练使用how many 与there be 句型进行日常对话。
1. 导人对话：本课可用角色表演法。
教师充当Dad ，并事先找一个女学生充当Kate ，然后进行角色表演。
教师先说：“Hi, Kate! What are you doing 〞学生说：“I ’m making some flowers for our classroom.〞直到整个对话表演完。
表演两遍后放录音，先将全段放一遍，然后逐句放，让学生逐句跟说并译成中文。
2. 操练：〔1〕将对话分成两段，各配一幅图，遮住关键词和关键句，然后逐个显示出来操练。
操练的顺序是：先让学生听录音并逐句跟说两遍，再让他们连起来说，并给他们半分钟时间让他们自己根据关键词和关键句复述，然后全班复述，先集体复述，再个别复述。
〔2〕两段都练完以后，让同桌间充当不同角色进行对话，一人充当Dad，另一人充当Kate，将两段连起来练习，最后叫假设干同学站起来复述整段对话。
