教学重难点1.能够运用问句“He/She fell off his/her bike.”回答“What happened?”;2.能够熟练掌握并运用句式“What happened?”“Did you fall off your bike?”“Where did it hurt?”“Let me have a look.”;3.能够用英语描述自己或他人在玩时摔倒并引起的伤害,如“Yesterday, I fell off my bike in the playground and hurt my knee.”。

教学过程讲授新词汇1.出示“paint”的图片,让学生观看、学习、模仿并朗读单词。

然后找出教室内或操场四周的墙壁、铁门、栅栏等表面,用颜料画图并描述自己画的图案。

1. 展示Daming受伤的图片,提问:“What happened to Daming?”教师播放第二部分的CD-Rom,让学生理解课文的语境。

2.再次播放CD-Rom,学生进一步理解课文并回答下列问题: Q1:.Who went for a bike ride? Q2.Who fell off his bike ?3. 通过课件引出新单词fall off , fell off ,happen, ride, thirsty, bought, watermelon, carried, bump… *提醒学生在动词过去时的规则变化中,如果动词以辅音字母和y结尾,则该动词要变y 为 I,然后加上ed,如:carry carried.设计理念与意图:课件呈现更加生动形象的体现单词及含义,部分单词添加chant更能体现动词过去式的用法,以便学生抓住重点。

4.玩游戏。

Step2:Review (复习)建议用时:2—3分钟教师播放PPT,让学生说出所给单词的过去式,从而复习前面所学知识。

活动二:大小声游戏建议用时:5—6分钟教师出示单词卡片,让学生读出下面单词,每出示一个单词,老师小声读一遍,学生大声读三遍,然后反过来。

重复练习。

教师把班级学生分成两组(或更多),让一组小声读的时候另一组大声读,然后两组互换,最后老师评出哪一组表现的最好。

以此调动学生积极性。
