Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains.SectionB（1a-1d）主讲人：邵芳工作单位：银川市第四中学【教材分析】本节课是一节听说课，是八年级下册Unit6SectionB的第一课时，主要围绕西方童话故事《皇帝的新装》，拓展了关于故事叙述的词汇和句式，通过听、说、读、写训练活动，学生能够更好地运用动词短语以及连词讲述故事。
本课的童话故事学生较熟悉、也感兴趣,有话可说。
而在SectionA中学生已学习了如何运用过去式讲述英语故事, 在此基础上本课时教学中要由词汇变化到句子,再由句子扩展到语篇,以听促说,学生要学会用英语讲这个故事，并能够尝试编写剧本，上台表演剧本。
【学情分析】八年级学生经过一年多系统的英语学习,具备了一定的听说基础,正逐步向读、写过渡,通过近半学期的小组合作学习的教学改革，学生有了自主学习、初步自主合作,分析归纳以及课堂展示的能力。
学生们也正处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好的学习习惯的关键时期。
大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣,但由于知识的安排由浅入深,有少数学生对这门学科产生了厌恶心理,消除学生厌学情绪,激发学习兴趣至关重要。
而本单元正是一个引发学生兴趣的契机,利用学生耳熟能详的故事, 把学生带入精彩的童话世界。
基于以上学情,我制定了以下学法:1. 抓住用英语交际的机会,深刻感知、积极体验、大胆实践。
2. 积极参与,善于合作,培养团队合作意识。
3. 依据:新课程标准提出的感知---体验---实践---参与---合作, 以及形成性评价。
【教学目标】（一）语言知识目标1) 能掌握以下单词和短语：gold, emperor, underwear, silk, stupid, cheat,2）掌握下列句型Nobody wanted to sound stupid.They were trying to cheat the emperor.Once upon a time, there was a emperor …3）掌握连词unless, as soon as and so…that（二）语言技能目标1）通过听了解《皇帝的新装》的故事情节，并完成听力练习。
2.复述、表演《皇帝的新装》这个故事并点评。
（三）情感目标引导学生勇于表达自我，分清是非，做个诚实的人。
【教学重点】掌握本课时的重点单词和短语，了解《皇帝的新装》的故事情节，并完成听力练习。
【教学难点】能根据图片复述、经过编排表演《皇帝的新装》这个故事并点评。
【教学策略选择与设计】（1）创设情境，在运用语言中学习语言，引导学生在看故事、听故事、讲故事、演故事的过程中，由浅入深，掌握目标语言。
（2）开展多种类型的任务型活动，如小组讨论划出重点短语、小组挑战任务、小组合作复述故事、小组合作排演剧目等，提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间，促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作，为完成任务进行探究性学习。
