教学过程（A Let’s spell）Step 1 Warm-up & RevisionFlash game：教师利用课件闪现序数词或日期的表达，学生快速认读，并大声朗读三遍。
Step 2 Presentation & PracticeA. Let’s spell1. Read, listen and chant.（1）师生对话。
T: What’s this?（出示牙齿图片）Ss: It’s a picture of teeth.（教师板书teeth）T: What’s this?（出示数字3的手势图片）Ss: It’s three.（教师板书three）T: Is she fat or thin?（出示瘦女孩的图片）Ss: Thin.（教师板书thin）（2）教师带读，引导学生思考上述三个词的相同点，并教读发音/θ/。
随后给出其他含有th发音/θ/的单词，如：thirteen，maths，fifth，birthday，third，让学生试着读一读，并请几名同学领读，纠正学生发音。
