My parents didn't let me actually gamble since I'm not 21 yet, but I watched them play roulette and slots a little.Our last stop was in California to visit family friends in Los Angeles. I was super pumped for this part because LA is where so many cool movies and TV shows get made. We went on a tour of some famous studios like Warner Brothers and got to explore outdoor sets from classics like Batman, Friends, and Harry Potter. So awesome! We also travelled down the Walk of Fame to see all the handprint monuments and walked along the Santa Monica Pier. The rest of thetour was awesome though. We saw a huge pod of dolphins leaping alongside the boat. They looked like little jackelopes jumping through the water. We even spotted a couple massive gray whales spouting water high into the air. I'll never forget the amazing whale sounds they made!After a week at the beach, we begrudgingly packed up and headed to Colorado to go camping in the Rocky Mountains. I wasn't too excited about sleeping in a tent and being surrounded by bugs and wild animals, but it ended up being really fun! We went on some cool hikes and saw a zillion wildflowers, chipmunks, deer, and even a black bear from a safe distance away.One night, we had a big thunderstorm roll through our campsite.
