缩写字母是由下列字母加在开始字母“N”的后面组成，并且按照电缆结构的顺序从导电线芯开始。
铜导电线芯以及内导电层，外导电层和成缆线芯统包层都不需列出。
N：标准型
导体A：铝导电线芯
绝缘Y：聚氯乙烯
2Y：聚乙烯
2X：交联聚乙烯
屏蔽S：铜屏蔽
SE：三芯电缆的每根绝缘线芯外面的铜屏蔽
外护套Y：聚氯乙烯
2Y：聚乙烯
F: 半导电阻水带
L: 铝塑复合带
