Unit8语法篇____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________1.熟练掌握序数词的构成和基本用法序数词1. 表示事物的顺序的数词叫做序数词。

它的作用相当于名词或形容词,可作主语、宾语、定语和表语。

2. 序数词的构成:(1) 第一:first 第二:second 第三:third(2) 第四至第十九均在相应的基数词后加-th,但第五(fifth)和第十二(twelve)均把基数词five(五)和twelve(十二)词尾的ve改为f,再加-th。

基数词八(eight)的序数词直接在eight后加-h,即eighth,九(nine)的序数词是将nine词尾的e去掉,再加-th,即ninth。

(3) 整十的序数词是把对应的基数词的最后一个字母y变为ie再加-th。

(4) 表示“几十几”的基数词变序数词时,只将个位数变为序数词,十位数不变。

3. 序数词前一般要加定冠词the表示顺序。

课题新目标七年级英语上Unit 8 When is your birthday?Period 1教材分析本课时为新目标英语七年级上册第8单元第一课时,内容与学生的日常生活关系密切,围绕when is your birthday?为中心话题展开,主要通过询问他人的生日和回答来学习日期的表达。

这一课时上承第七单元的数字教学,下接本单元SectionB关于日期的英语教学,是连接前后知识的纽带。

在本单元以及今后的英语学习中都占有重要的地位。

学情分析这节课的教学对象是刚刚步入初中的七年级学生,全班共有66位学生,其中女生30名,男生36名。

令我高兴的是孩子们对新知识的学习充满好奇心,他们的合作精神好,能与老师和同学配合默契,这有利于教学活动的展开。

但是部分孩子对学好英语缺乏自信心,开口说英语能力较差,不敢用英语表达,同时字母书写也不规范,发音也不正确而且已经养成习惯。

教学目标一、知识与技能1.掌握本课关于生日表达的重点词汇。

2.能听懂与生日有关的简单会话。

3.能利用日常用语When is your birthday?或者When is her birthday?与他人展开对话。

二、过程与方法1.利用多媒体、幻灯片、录音机等来展开本节课的教学,围绕关于生日的词汇及句型大胆、主动地去了解他人的情况。

2.通过自己动手制作英文袖珍日历来培养孩子们探究、自主学习的能力。
