an sad moment英语作文

an sad moment英语作文An Sad MomentEveryone experiences sad moments in their lives. It is a feeling of intense sorrow and grief that can be triggered by different circumstances such as the loss of a loved one, failure, disappointment, or even loneliness. Sadness is a natural human emotion that we all go through at some point in our lives. One of the saddest moments in my life was when my grandmother passed away. She was a big part of my life, always there to offer love, wisdom, and support. When she died, I felt like a part of me was gone. The sadness and grief I felt were overwhelming.I remember sitting by her bedside in the hospital, holding her hand and watching her take her last breath. I couldn't believe that she was gone. The realization that I would never see her again hit me like a ton of bricks. The funeral was a blur of tears and condolences. I felt like I was in a daze, unable to process the fact that she was no longer with us.In the days and weeks that followed, the sadness lingered. I missed her presence in my life, her comforting words, and herwarm hugs. I felt lost and alone without her. It took time for me to come to terms with her death and to find a way to move on.Another sad moment in my life was when I failed a crucial exam that I had studied hard for. I had invested so much time and effort into preparing for it, and when I received the results, I was devastated. The disappointment and sense of failure were overwhelming. I felt like I had let myself and my family down.I remember sitting in my room, staring at the piece of paper that held my exam results, feeling a wave of sadness wash over me. I questioned my abilities and my self-worth. I wondered if I would ever be able to achieve my goals and dreams. It took me some time to accept the failure and to find the strength to try again.Sad moments can also be triggered by feelings of loneliness and isolation. I remember a time when I felt disconnected from the people around me, like I was living in a bubble of my own making. I longed for meaningful connections and friendships but found it difficult to reach out and open up to others. The loneliness weighed heavily on my heart, causing a deep sense of sadness to settle in. I felt like I was carrying a heavy burden that I couldn't shake off. It took courage and vulnerability to break out of my shell and to seek out connections with others.Slowly, I started to build friendships and cultivate relationships that brought joy and warmth into my life.Sad moments are an inevitable part of the human experience. They remind us of our vulnerability and our capacity for empathy and compassion. It is okay to feel sad, to grieve, and to acknowledge our pain. It is through these moments of sadness that we can grow stronger, more resilient, and more compassionate towards ourselves and others. As I look back on the sad moments in my life, I realize that they have shaped me in profound ways. They have taught me the value of love, connection, and resilience. They have helped me appreciate the beauty of life and the preciousness of every moment. Sadness may be difficult to bear, but it is also a reminder of our humanity and our capacity for healing and growth.。

Moment in Peking

Moment in Peking

This month, I have read a book named Moment in Peking. The writer is Lin Yutang. And Lin Yutang was nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature for this book in 1975. Moment in Peking, the name of this book attracted me, I could not help but want to understand the whole story under the layers of clouds. As we all know, Lin Yutang was a novelist, an essayist, a philosopher, a philologist, and lexicographer .He also invented a Chinese translator. The New York Times said at the time of his death, “Lin Yutang had no peer as an interpreter to Western minds of the customs, aspiration, fears and thought of his people.”“But he was more”, wrote Prof. Nelson I, Wu of Washington University in St.Louis, Missouri. “He was a total man, stubbornly going his own way through the criticism of lesser mind to become a universal genius.”Moment in Peking, published in 1940, was a novel of broad canvas which began with the Boxer Rebellion in 1901 and ended with the beginning of the Sino-Japanese War. Like The Importance of Living, it became a selection of the Book-of-the-Month Club. It “may well become the classic background novel of Modern China”, said Time magazine. This novel is the greatest work of Mr. Lin Yutang in his 25 books in both Chinese and English. It painted a vivid scene of Modern China. The story displayed the old Chinese culture, politics and life are through the fate of two families. Various character personalities of various walks of life bring to the city a thousand sensations. This book mainly heroined Mulan Yao as the line, reflecting the Chinese society at that time that stretch from the comfort but corruption everywhere toward explosive expansion at the end, but also filled with unity and hope.“So important are little things in our life, perfectly meaningless in themselves, but as we look back upon them in their chain of cause and effect, we realize they are sometimes fraught with momentous consequences.” It’s except from this book, I love this sentence. Look at ourselves, it’s true to everyone. The book’s leading light is one of the natural Taoism. It seems full of wisdom. It seems that the life and death, wealth, the sweets and bitters of life were seen through.Moment in Peking is the treasure that the older generation left for our young people. They want us to remember our history. It is a book that needs you to think of it carefully and the philosophy will benefit to your whole life.。

There is a saying that: "Lei Feng travel a thousand miles, a good thing to do a train." Others have said Lei Feng silly, the two old people have been saved, but Lei Feng is still something for the elderly to eat for several days, the elderly finally recovered!Lei Feng his premature death only year 22, Lei Feng life for the people to do good things no less than a thousand pieces, is the peoples model, is the pride of the Chinese name.I want to learn from Comrade Lei Feng, inherited his glorious deeds, I want to make people in the world have become Lei Feng, so that the worlds good people than bad guys. There is an old saying goes, "Do not be good and not small, do not be good and small." We have to do a good job from small habits do not do bad habits, even if this good thing and then do small. As a new generation of the motherland, we have to inherit the noble qualities of Lei Feng.Lei Feng is our model, is our leader, we must always remember him! I am proud of my hero - Lei Feng.我心中的英雄英语演讲稿篇6Dear teachers and studentsLooking up at the sky in summer night, the stars are particularly bright. The old man said: This is the concentration of human righteousness and heroic soul. The heroic epic of the world is just like the starry River, which is vast and has a long history. When the sun rises and sets and the stars change, imagine where the hero belongs? When the vicissitudes of the universe, the moment of the universe, who is the master of ups and downs? When the grass grows and the Orioles fly, the moment when the flowers are bright and the willows are dark, the outbreak of power makes people sigh: how vast is the vitality! It is this feeling, and it is also our feeling for heroes. Although it sprouts in our hearts, we are moved. The overlord of the Western Chu Dynasty was a hero who pulled the mountain out of the world; Jing Ke stabs Qin. The wind is rustling and the water is cold. He is a hero; Huo Qubing, the Xiongnu is still alive. He is a hero because of his family; Xin Qiji was drunk and looked at the sword with a lantern. He dreamt that he was a hero. Not to mention Yue Fei's eight thousand mile journey of clouds and the moon, Lin Zexu's' Gou Li national life and death; Don't mention Mao 's picturesque mountains and rivers, the sun like blood, and Zhou Enlai's Dajiang song; Mention Zhang Haidi, who is self-improvement, positive and optimistic, and Yang Liwei, who is not afraid of sacrifice and travels in space; Mention the people's soldiers who fight floods and rescue; Mention the power workers who bravely fought the snow disaster; They are all recognized heroes. But in my heart, there is a kind of hero. His image is not so tall, but very down-to-earth; His deeds are not widely known, but he works tirelessly; His name will not be handed down throughthe ages, but it moved me the most. She's mom. Whenever I have difficulties, there is always a familiar figure of my mother around me. She said to me, "child, don't be afraid, there is my mother." So, holding my mother's hand, I went through nine years of trials and hardships. She is a teacher. Whenever I have something I don't understand, there is always a teacher's voice in my ear. She said to me, "think more, think more, read more, and there is a teacher." So, with the teacher's chalk, I grew from an ignorant child to a handsome young man.He is a cleaner. Every morning, when I walk across the spotless Road, I know that their selfless dedication has made this blue sea and blue sky.He is also a person who sends a lost child home, a person who sincerely comforts the sad, a person who saves the wounded, no matter how insignificant what he does As long as he can bring us happiness and touch, he is my hero! So, my hero No great contribution is needed; You don't need to throw your head and shed blood. As long as you can have a kind and helpful heart, it's enough!! Therefore, no matter how ordinary, as long as you are willing, you, me, him and all of us can become heroes!。

死亡才是英雄英文作文

死亡才是英雄英文作文Death is the ultimate sacrifice that a hero makes for the greater good. It is the moment when their bravery and selflessness shine the brightest, and their legacy isforever etched in the annals of history. The concept of heroism is often romanticized in popular culture, but in reality, it is the willingness to lay down one's life for the sake of others that truly defines a hero. It is not about fame or glory, but about the unwavering commitment to protect and serve, even at the cost of one's own life.In the face of danger and adversity, a hero's courage knows no bounds. They stand firm in the face of fear, knowing that their actions may lead to their ultimate demise. It is this fearless determination that sets them apart and earns them the title of a true hero. The impact of a hero's death reverberates far beyondthe moment of their passing. It serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who came before, and inspires future generations to carry on their legacy. In death, a hero becomes immortal, their spirit living on in the hearts of those they have touched. The true measure of a hero is not in the length oftheir life, but in the depth of their impact. Their deathis not an end, but a beginning – a catalyst for change and a source of inspiration for others to follow in their footsteps. In the end, it is not the manner of a hero's death that defines them, but the legacy they leave behind. It is the lives they have touched, the hearts they have lifted, and the world they have changed for the better. Death may claim their physical form, but their spirit lives on as a beacon of hope and courage for all.。
