(3)能够运用句型“How heavy are you?/ I’m …kilograms. 来询问与回复有关体重的信息。

(4)能够运用句型“What size are your shoes?/I wear size 38 shoes. / My shoes are size 37.”来询问与回复有关鞋码的信息。

Step 2:Presentation1.Look and say.(看图片,说词汇,以对比的方式逐步讲授新词汇,这一部分有条件的老师,可以使用课件,条件不允许,就可以使用图片。

)教师出示一幅有一个大圆圈的画,引出词汇big,再出示一幅拥有更大圆圈的画,进行对比,引出新词汇bigger.(以同样的方式讲授单词smaller)教师出示图画,图片内容为身高一样,但一胖一瘦的两个人,通过对比的方式引出词汇thinner and heavier.最后教师再出示一幅画,图片内容是一个健壮的男子,通过与原先精瘦的人的对比,强调heavier与stronger的不同之处,heavier 是重量上比较重,而stronger强调的是精壮。

【设计意图】经历比较的过程,引出词汇,内容清晰,学生易于接受单词的含义。

2.Read and spell the words. (将单词分部分进行记忆并拼读,帮助学生解决词汇的记忆问题)Step 3:Practice1.Point and say out the words.(教师指着单词,学生快速读出来,刚开始全班一起读,接下来分组比赛,最后请个别学生认读单词)2.Translate the words.(英汉互译,教师讲英文时,学生讲中文,教师讲中文,学生讲英文)【设计意图】通过有趣的活动,活跃课堂气氛,促进学生学习英语的兴趣,巩固教学内容。

3.Make sentences.(根据实际情况,使用新学词汇进行英语表达)Step 4: Let’s wrap it up.(语法小结)1.Look and find.(观察单词,找出规律)tall ---- taller(一般情况) thin ---- thinner(重读闭音节) heavy ---- heavier(辅y结尾)2.Make a chant.(将形容词比较级的变化制作成一首歌谣,教师引导学生进行创作)在这一个部分,在创作歌谣之后,教师必须跟学生讲清楚什么是重读闭音节,对歌谣进行介绍与补充,另外,最高将形容词比较级延伸至最高级,说明最高级就是将比较级的er转换为est,在形容词最高级的前面必须加上定冠词the.Step4: Homework1.听录音,熟读课本 P7 单词与句型。
