本文基于对美国综合医院网站栏目设置的调研,对我国综合医院英文网站栏目设置提出合理化建议。
关键词美国综合医院英文网站栏目设置建议1 我国医院英文网站栏目设置的现状随着互联网时代的发展,国内众多医院已拥有了自己的中英文网站,但相比内容丰富、栏目构架及功能齐全的中文网站,英文网站在内容、版式、设计、功能等方面相对逊色。
通过浏览国内众多大型三甲医院的英文网站,发现国内绝大多数医院英文网站只局限于单页结构的医院文字介绍和说明,版式设计欠美观、内容陈旧、信息匮乏、中式英语充斥、功能不全、链接错误、更新滞后等问题,既没有突出医院的特色、也没能起到对外宣传的积极作用。
通过调研发现,单页结构的英文网页是我国医院英文网站普遍存在的问题。
这种单页结构的网页界面决定了栏目设置的局限性,因此传递给用户的信息量十分有限,大部分医院的英文网站仅仅是将中文网站的主页部分翻译成英文。
这种缺乏实质内容的英文网页感官效果较差、版面粗糙,给国外用户以不舒适的阅读感觉。
严格意义上说,这种单一页面的英文网站不能算是真正意义上的英文网站。
在调研过程中,我们也发现了英文网站栏目建设较好的实例。
如中日友好医院、其栏目设置齐全,涵盖了国外医院网站所具备的核心栏目,符合国外用户的阅读习惯。
1网站最主要的功能就是传递信息,由于信息量较大,需要对不同的信息内容进行分类。
因此,对网站栏目进行合理设置不仅有利于信息的归纳、分类和整合,而且还有助于信息的有效传播和方便用户的阅读浏览。
可见,对网站栏目进行合理设置既是网站建设的首要任务,又是确保网站效果和功能的关键。
笔者有幸参与了北京大学人民医院英文网站的建设,在实践过程中对美国综合医院英文网站的栏目设置进行了调研和分析,下面就英文网站栏目的设置谈谈体会,以便为我国其他医院英文网站的栏目设置提供借鉴。
