Connecting Rosslare keypad to EWS Controllerv .b 1APPLICATION NOTEThe Keypad is compatible with EWS controller with small limitations1. COMPATIBILITY2. HOW TO SET THE KEYPAD AND THE EWS CONTROLLER2.1 HOW TO SET PIN CODE AND CARD (DOUBLE SECURITY)The keypad can work with EWS in these modes: 1. PIN code OR Card 2. PIN Code AND Card 3. CARD only1. PIN code AND card (double security) works perfectly well.2. PIN code OR card works fine with these limitations:The PIN code can be up to 5 digits. If in the same installation, there are Proximity readers and Rosslare keypad, the Pin code must be put as different User. That means, if the User has card with Number 5349221, the PIN code cannot be that number. It must be bellow 65535 and must be registered as different User. In other words, in mixed network (prox. readers and keypads) the door can be opened without problem but for 1person we have to have 2 users like: John Smith1 and John Smith2. Where John Smith1 as ID has the Card Number and John Smith2 as ID has the PIN code. This applies to all third party controllers. The keypad is made like that.3. Card only works perfectly well. The keypad can be set to give output for PIN codes that is not recognizable by EWS. In that way the EWS will receive just the cards.Connection:Default settings of Rosslare AYC-Q64B kepadWire Rosslare AYC-Q64B EWS Terminal blockWhiteD1GreenD0Red+12V Black GND•By default, for both the Rosslare keypad and the EWS controller:1.
以我手头的版本EWSA5.2为例。
